| 3 days 11 hours ago | Nuts! |
I was hoping he'd be like his brother and go blue. I had heard from someone close to the Doles family that after UM's latest OL commit that the coaches called Tommy and told him they no longer had a spot for him. (Shortly after talking to teh UM coaches Doles commited to NW.) So I'm guessing that any UM offers to OL will only go to tackles.

| 4 days 13 hours ago | Who's in charge of B1G scheduling? |
Who's in charge of B1G scheduling? It does not seem to me that this would be that hard of job. First basketball and now this!?! I don'tget it. Putting some sort of competitive balance to everyone's schedule should be near the top of their priority list. Not to mention balancing rival schedules (OSU and MSU) such that you don't play both either away or home the same year. Very poor. Who ever is in charge of this needs to be fired. |

Since he has his mouth open, I'm going with brushing his teeth. |
| 2 weeks 3 days ago | Over 200 |
To many to count, but over 200. Started going when I was a kid in the late 1960's. I still have ticket stubs from when you could by tickets at the gate for $1.00. Then they raised the price to $2.00! (100% increase in one year!) Of course I had student tickets for 4 years then strated buying season tickets since 1992. I've seen all of the greatest games but one during that stretch - Braylon fest, Desmond's catch, Brabbs kick, Mecury Hayes' catch, Woodson - OSU, Desmond the Pose, Henne to Mannigham, etc. (I missed Wangler to Carter!) Good times. Favorite part of the stadium - home team side near the 50.

| 2 weeks 5 days ago | Hope he goes blue |
I hope Bars goes blue. Sounds like he would be a good fit and a more natural tackle than the other recruits. Doles is more of a center, right? If Bars commits is there still room for Doles?

| 4 weeks 5 days ago | Thank you THJ |
For his sake I hope this turns out to be a good decision and he has a long, successful run in the NBA. I'll certainly miss seeing him in a Michigan uniform. |
| 4 weeks 5 days ago | Please come back |
Come on Tim, one more year! Hope stays in school not only because I would like to see him in the maize and blue for another year, but I think he could improve his stock if stayed in college another year to work on his game. With Burke gone, Tim has the chance to lead this team and really shine.

| 5 weeks 4 days ago | Best of luck |
If it's true - best of luck to THjr. Hope he has a long run in the NBA. I am a bit surprised by this news as most draft projections only had him in the second round and I personaly thought he would benefit from another year in college. |
| 5 weeks 6 days ago | Agreed |
Last major recruiting obstacles were (1) showing potential recruits that you could win titles at Michigan and (2) that Coach Beilein can prepare you to play in the NBA . With a B1G title last year, and number 1 ranking and an NCAA Championship game this year, Beilein has shown that he can coach you to titles at Michigan. With Burke winning numerous POY awards, and a number of UM guys showing up on NBA draft lists, Beilein has shown that he can prepare you for the NBA.
The future is bright - and the best part is that Coach B is doing the right way. No shady recruiting and he and his players are class acts.
Go Blue! |
| 6 weeks 10 hours ago | No Socks |
I don't think I've ever taken my socks off during a basketball game before, but during the first half against SDSU I was getting hot so I took my socks off. Michigan then started going on a run. I haven't worn my socks for any game since - and I certainly won't be wearing socks tonight! |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | Awesome! |
Well deserved. I was hoping he'd win as it's great not only for him but also for the program. Based on the first place votes it doesn't look like it was even that close of race. It seems like the Heisman Trophy winners don't often do well in their bowl games. Here's hoping that doesn't hold true for the POY in the tourney. Way to go Trey!

| 6 weeks 4 days ago | Only B1G Player Ever? |
It says that Burke is teh only Big Ten player ever to score 15 points in every conference game in a season. i know he was the only one to do it this season, but only one ever? I find this very hard to believe. I mean Big Dog averaged 33 points a game one season. Could someone with more time than me verify that burke is the only one? |

Those videos were awesome. Thanks for posting. Laughed out loud when Coacb B got a gatorade bath. So happy for these guys. A gatorade bath after beating the gators = tremendous! |

| 9 weeks 3 days ago | Well done |
Good job, Jordan! Hope you're able to find a spot in the league. I'm very surprised that Denard didn't have better cone and shuttle times - and equally surprised at Jordan's times. Looking forward to watching both of them next year.

He commited to Michigan which automatically makes him a 5 star in the only category that matters! |
| 11 weeks 4 days ago | Amen brother |
Nik and GRIII are great Michigan men and talented bball players. We should all be very thankful they're on our team. Based on their freshman year performances I can't wait to watch them throughout their careers. |
| 11 weeks 4 days ago | Hurts but not the end of the world |
This loss hurts, but it's not the end of the world (or the team) as some woudl have you think. I had a bad feeling about this game before it started. Penn State had been playing by far its best basketball lately and this was a trap game for UM. With IU losing, MSU coming to town, and PSU having not won a conference game it would have been easy to not be totally fired up for this game. PSU played one of its better games UM didn't. These things happen. Penn State is not a good shooting team, UM is - but in this game UM went 5-20 from 3 point range, PSU went 10-20. That's a 15 point swing in favor of the team that usually doesn't shoot that well. UM usually doesn't turn the ball over. In this game UM had 15 turnovers to 13 assists. PSU had 9 turnovers to 15 assists. Burke finally looked human having more turnovers in this game then in the last 5 combined. Lastly, PSU had committed the most fouls in the league and UM the fewest. In this one UM had 21 fouls, PSU had 17. Yeah this game hurts, but it's also what makes sports great - on any given day the little guy can have a great game and pull the upset. I wish it wouldn't have happened against UM but this is not the end of the world, and it doesn't mean our team has totally lost it and it doesn't mean that Coach B has lost the team. Go Blue, Beat Sparty!

This does make sense. After all I've heard that a snapper = a box |
| 14 weeks 3 days ago | IU to lose |
I think IU is a bigger threat to win the B1G then Ohio. So I will be rooting for IU to lose. |
| 14 weeks 3 days ago | What a dink |
I'm sure the other B1G coaches chose not to recruit as well as they could. This is like telling a rich person telling poor person that they need to get a better paying job.
Hey Urban, if you want the rest of the B1G to recruit better - stop stealing their recruits! |
| 14 weeks 5 days ago | Excellent class |
I have to say though, I was secretly wishing that Leon McQuay III would abandon the shrinking USC class and switch to UM. I know, it wasn't going to happen - but a guy can still dream. |

For your 60th, I hope your team has an effective field goal percentage of 60% and a big victory over ohio. Go Blue! |
| 15 weeks 4 days ago | Thanks |
I can still visualize Baxters hair bobbing up and down as he ran down the court. Although Hubbard may have been only 6'7" he was under sized as a center even back then, but he played bigger than his height as they would say. IIRC he was close to making the olympic team in 1976.

| 16 weeks 3 days ago | Jonathon Hankerson |
Not because he was a great person or a personal favorite, but because he wanted to come to Michigan but we never offered. So he goes to our rival and is a beast. Not to mention he played a position of great need. |
