Michigan wins the 2023 NCAAM Managers Championship
Was not aware of this in previous seasons, but this is nice. Hell with it - hang a banner.

You think any of those guys can play center?
Or the 4? Or wing?
How did they manage that?
So we don’t actually need to use the transfer portal
I tried to manage my expectations going in.
Honorable mention to this guy from Louisville.
We beat Notre Dame if anyone's curious.
And Notre Dame was the defending champions.
Look for ND to bring in a transfer manager from Wake Forest next year in an effort to get back to the top.
We're a Manager's School!!!
/did I do that right?
I was expecting guys in business suits…?
Something to put on your application to Ross Business School.
Fire! (I'm using the word while it's still . . . fire.)
So this is what they meant by Howard being a pro type coach he will develop a feeder g league type system.
Go Blue. And, a win over ND - it just makes it sweeter.
Does this get us points in the Director's Cup standings?
It should as it is more prestigious than Stanford's championship in synchronized underwater basket weaving which they wil every year and are quite the dynasty.
Honestly, this is probably a more "praise worthy" achievement than most of what our "revenue sport" athletes have accomplished this season (or maybe ever will again in the coming future).
How can that be, especially after that very sweet beatdown of osu in Columbus this last November en route to another Big Ten championship? Simply put, these kids did not have the massive expectations, nor the full ride scholarships & NIL money, and had to put in just as much time & effort into the MBB program as any starter did (maybe more, honestly) and all while pursuing a full time "real" education (with all the after hours commitment and academic rigor it entails) that was going to be their career... they came to "play school" full time yet also became the indispensable pieces in keeping a major revenue sports program running... all in their spare time. These were real college kids, not professionals (and the semi/quasi-professionals we have now).
Well done, young men.
