WATCHLIST:
Guys who have a decision to make (whether that be NFL or transfer portal).

*This is not a projection for anyone except McNamara, Corum, Bell, Smith, and Morris - those are the only "locks", IMO. Schoonmaker and Upshaw would be next (Turner and Johnson would have been but they have both struggled at times), but you never know. Everyone else will just be someone I keep an eye on. Due to COVID, there are a few free 5th and 6th years. I've got Keegan, Zinter, Barrett and Sainristil already determined as coming back.*

QB: Cade McNamara*
RB: Blake Corum*
WR: Cornelius Johnson
WR: Ronnie Bell*
TE: Luke Schoonmaker
NT: Mazi Smith*
EDGE: Mike Morris*
OLB: Taylor Upshaw
CB: DJ Turner

RB: Leon Franklin
WR: Cristian Dixon
TE: Louis Hansen
LB: Jaydon Hood
OLB: Joey Velasquez
OLB: Tyler McLaurin

Who's jock is Tommy Eichenberg on?!  Not sure what he was responsible for on any of M's big plays, but he seemed average at best.  Sure he hustles, but so does every Wisco LB... checks list... nevermind, people watch different football than me I guess.

The lack of OSU players is interesting and makes sense given we've hung 42 and 45 on them. This isn't all on Knowles. He didn't recruit these guys. Wondering if the emphasis on offense and more 5 star WRs has gnawed away on other positions. That 2019 team with Chase Young and okudah had far better talent than I've seen these past two years. It's more than just schemes.

Yes, I'll take our no-star D (ala 1972 Dolphins no-name D).

Every year the league gets this wrong. They want “everyone” to have representation. It’s sad  but the players and coaches know who’s the best. Moving on.
