As the title says, Steve Wiltfong, the lead expert on 247 for Zach Harrison, has changed his crystal ball prediction from murky/cloudy/undecided to Michigan.

As did Steve Lorenz...Tremendous!
November 5th, 2018 at 10:20 AM ^
His CB is similar to Sam's gut to me. Steve does not like to put in a CB unless he feels very solid because of blow back for being wrong. I dont think he ever put in a pick for Najee.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:55 AM ^
He actually did for Najee. He was one of the first to pick Alabama, and even with almost overwhelming evidence that Najee was picking Michigan he never flipped it and ended up being right. However, he does still occasionally get backlash for picking Drake Harris to Michigan early and then Harris picking MSU, even though Harris later did pick Michigan.
Unfortunately, fans put way too much stock in CBs, while they are supposed to be writers' opinions on where they think a player will go, readers get really upset when they disagree or the writer ends up being wrong.
November 5th, 2018 at 11:08 AM ^
Lorenz has come a long ways since he put in a prediction for Drake Harris. He was a rookie back then.
November 5th, 2018 at 11:26 AM ^
It's an almost done deal, Zach Harrison to Michigan.
It's not just that he's a great player that's making me so happy he's coming to Michigan, but also the kind of person he is. He is a rare kid, who will be great for the image of Michigan football.
November 5th, 2018 at 12:11 PM ^
This sounds thrilling!
Also, who the hell are you?
November 5th, 2018 at 12:13 PM ^
Why does it matter??
November 5th, 2018 at 3:43 PM ^
Adam Biggers wants to know.
November 5th, 2018 at 3:11 PM ^
He's from space, so he checks out.
November 5th, 2018 at 12:03 PM ^
FWIW, Buckeye recruiting guys Birmingham and Ellis switched their CBs to Michigan just now.
November 5th, 2018 at 12:09 PM ^
He HAS apparently changed his CB on Crouch twice already, and may have to again!
November 5th, 2018 at 10:33 AM ^
Allen as well. A
November 5th, 2018 at 10:33 AM ^
Allen Trieu as well
November 5th, 2018 at 12:07 PM ^
Seriously... that's a big one. Wilfong tends to read tea leaves while Lorenz sometimes has inside info.
November 5th, 2018 at 4:12 PM ^
And Andrew Ellis at 11W.
I think like 7 or 8 CBs went in for Michigan on Harrison today.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:42 AM ^
Nice. Love me some Captain Raymond Holt!
November 5th, 2018 at 10:20 AM ^
29% ^^^
November 5th, 2018 at 10:49 AM ^
Wiltfong's ballz are worth more than all the others combined.
November 5th, 2018 at 12:15 PM ^
Not anymore!
November 5th, 2018 at 10:21 AM ^
I like that for him the "who you play with" is more important than "where you play" or "for whom".
Hope you GoBlue! Zach!
November 5th, 2018 at 10:21 AM ^
So can he take an official to The Game on osu's dime and hang out on our sideline? That'd be nice.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:25 AM ^
Didn't an OSU lineman do that a few years back? Came on his official to Michigan and cheered for OSU at "The Game".
November 5th, 2018 at 10:35 AM ^
Joey Bosa, if I recall correctly.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:46 AM ^
It was Billy Price, not Joey Bosa. Not sure why people on the board want so badly to change this to Joey Bosa (not picking on you - I have seen this several times).
And even the Michigan guys said it got blown out of proportion. Don't forget he was watching a Brady Hoke era OLine.
November 5th, 2018 at 11:24 AM ^
Price was being recruited as a DT by Hoke. He apologized for his behavior later. He was a HS kid and was just being a little immature.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:35 AM ^
Its possible a lineman did it more recently, but Maurice Clarret was on the OSU sideline when he took his official for the Game in '01.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:53 AM ^
Yeah - I remember Maurice Clarret did it - bullet dodged...
November 5th, 2018 at 10:55 AM ^
Maurice didn't smell any $$$$ on our sideline......
November 5th, 2018 at 10:46 AM ^
Terrell Pryor?
November 5th, 2018 at 11:26 AM ^
Pryor visited after the season. Which makes sense since he was only interested because they hired RR.
November 5th, 2018 at 12:03 PM ^
Not really the same, but didn't Steve Elmer take his official to Michigan during the ND game but found himself rooting for ND during the game, so he committed to them soon after? Or am I making that up?
November 5th, 2018 at 10:22 AM ^
Clearly it must be that OSU doesn't really want him. Right? (for the subtlety-impaired: /s)
November 5th, 2018 at 10:22 AM ^
Was reading on the OSU 247 board (I think) and now they're saying they don't want him anyway and he can't even dominate HS football games. LOL ok we will be happy to have him here.
GO BLUE!
November 5th, 2018 at 10:30 AM ^
Yes that is exactly what they have said. They have instantly turned on him.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:48 AM ^
Shocking that a random board poster would turn on him. The pro-OSU pundits have not turned on him as of yet; however, they are saying that OSU has enough young talent to survive until the 2020 class can come to the rescue.
Apparently they feel there is a lot of DLine talent in 2020.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:53 AM ^
Like Denver Warren?
November 5th, 2018 at 10:56 AM ^
Maybe? But I thought he was more of a 3T / NG type and Zach is like the opposite of that - so not sure why a Zach Harrison silent commit would impact Denver.
Maybe a George Karlaftis silent commit? - hahaha, that would make sense though
November 5th, 2018 at 12:18 PM ^
Karlaftis is not a silent commit. Karlaftis is only flipping if Brohm leaves. That being said, Michigan is certainly trying.
November 5th, 2018 at 1:02 PM ^
Somebody text the phone # of Brohm's agent to the Louisville AD.....;)
November 5th, 2018 at 11:53 AM ^
It's probably why he hasn't announced yet. Wants to be around Cbus as little time as possible as a known commit of Michigan.
November 5th, 2018 at 11:57 AM ^
I wouldn't blame him for a hot second for that idea!
November 5th, 2018 at 10:33 AM ^
Exactly what we've come to expect from the worst fanbase in college football. Brain shrinking microbes must be in the water down in Columbus.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:22 AM ^
Zach runs 100 meters in <11 seconds, and he is built like Aubrey Solomon. This would be an amazing development. Osu is getting some karmic justice - how enjoyable for all!
November 5th, 2018 at 10:26 AM ^
I don't know about that, Aubrey was 285 lbs his senior year, but I'll still take him.
November 5th, 2018 at 11:09 AM ^
He's like 40 pounds lighter than Solomon.
November 5th, 2018 at 11:47 AM ^
On top of that. David Ojabo also ran a sub 11 second 100 meter. This class is going to be loaded.
November 5th, 2018 at 11:52 AM ^
Is Ojabo going to be an End or a Tackle?
November 5th, 2018 at 12:19 PM ^
I love that on much of his clip(s) he is playing inside. If S&C makes that kid into a 6'6" 290 DT he will be an OMG terror...playing inside with Hinton and Mazi and with Harrison and Hutch and company as the ends...and how about Crouch as the MLB with Ross and McGrone on either side...and Hill and company cleaning up the back side!!! And we think this defense is dynamic!!! And if Michigan would go out and get McCoy (if you don't know McCoy look him up-a 5***** Cali kid whose CBs have been/are mostly USC, not committed...bigger version of Daxton!) to play viper...Michigan wouldn't need an offense.
Maybe this is what Mr. Denver Warren is apprehensive about? He should still go Blue.
November 5th, 2018 at 12:24 PM ^
Isn't there talk that Hutchinson will play some DT?
