24/7 lists him as a 293 lb DT commit.

Josh Allen is my first choice but I'm not sold on Ferrell top 10.

As a Lions fan, in that scenario I want Greedy Williams.  Quinn will get destroyed by the fans if he takes a TE.

Meh... Mattisons move wasn't lateral.

01/16/2019 - 2:37pm Not if Tua chokes in big…

Not if Tua chokes in big games like he did this year.

Looks like a smaller Mone, which is fine I guess.

01/15/2019 - 3:12pm I think you are…

I think you are overestimating this kids speed.  If a 4.65 is accurate, and remember HS reported 40 times and heights are often inflated, then he would be a very poor man's Denard or Kyler Murray.  Now if he can sling the ball, maybe he can be a very good QB.  But football isn't moving towards tiny QBs with TE speed.

01/15/2019 - 2:04pm Well Drew Brees ran a 4.8. …

Well Drew Brees ran a 4.8.  Flutie ran something like a 4.7.  Tate Martell a 4.72.

01/15/2019 - 1:22pm That WR at WVU had a QB…

That WR at WVU had a QB offer from USC in the 7th grade I think.  Also Leak, the QB in the early 2000s for Florida I think, was a wake forest commit really eatly before decommittig.

01/15/2019 - 1:13pm Newton and Luck are both…

Newton and Luck are both much bigger so not really a fair comparison.  At that size, he better be something special to get an offer.

01/14/2019 - 4:08pm We thought the same thing…

We thought the same thing after our first championship appearance.  Beileins sweet spot is top 100 types, but when he goes up against Duke/UK etc for the one and done types, not sure we can compete.  At least not consistently.

01/14/2019 - 1:18am He's big. And it looks like…

He's big. And it looks like he plays hard.  But those feet are not nimble.

I think Watson was from Southfield.

Better Call Saul and green tea

Matthews can quit taking fade away jumpers any day now.

Hence my more talent comment.  But they have gone gun shy in the passing game.  Bunch of safe sideline routes, and when they do go downfield, Tua is off.

Their one S is supposed to be a 1st rounder.

01/07/2019 - 10:47pm Bama offense looks kinda…

Bama offense looks kinda like ours with more talent.  Clemson DL is messing with Tua, Saban going with body blows.

01/07/2019 - 1:49pm He was obviously a good DL…

He was obviously a good DL coach but I saw some serious limitations when he was a DC here.  Some scheme things just didn't make sense.

I think DPJ said the same thing

01/05/2019 - 4:15am The water thing was just bad…

The water thing was just bad science.  I remember (late 80s, early 90s) them telling us just to take a few sips so we don't cramp up.

Also had a freshmen coach slam a kid up against a locker at halftime.  He wasn't mad at the kid, just had the bad luck of being the closest at hand.  Wasn't even yelling at him, yelling at all of us.

01/04/2019 - 10:26pm I don't think even Maizen…

I don't think even Maizen would say the 19 class was not very good.  He might say it wasn't good enough if we want to be a national champion or even B1G champion as OSU continues to kill it in recruiting.

01/03/2019 - 10:00pm Draft sites? They have no…

Draft sites? They have no clue what his 40 time is.  That's probably based on some self reported 40 time from a HS camp.

01/01/2019 - 11:49pm Not sure i'm a fan of this…

Not sure i'm a fan of this Texas offense.  Too reliant on a running QB.  But maybe they are just playing with the limitations their QB has.  Seems like a real tough runner.

01/01/2019 - 11:46pm Drafted as a WR but had drug…

Drafted as a WR but had drug issues I think.

Don't we only have 5 DTs on scholarship? Two deep shouldn't be all that difficult.

01/01/2019 - 5:00pm Always the CFL

Always the CFL

I think he can be as good as Higdon.  Which is nice but isn't going to scare good teams.

12/30/2018 - 12:07pm I actually like the…

I actually like the potential of the baseball and basketball player.  It's the IMG guy that looks slow .

LB depth? Sure didn't see it yesterday.

12/30/2018 - 11:38am What's your definition of…

What's your definition of fine? Good enough to beat run of the mill Big Ten teams?  I agree.  Good enough for us to beat top 10 teams while still running our current schemes? Then you must have your head in the sand.

Our DTs are struggling.   Could really have used Solomon.

We do, it's our read option look.

12/29/2018 - 2:27pm Our WRs run lazy routes. …

Our WRs run lazy routes.  You got a bunch of guys running deep and one guy with a lazy cut to the sideline, then they just stand around.  Our passing game Is so antiquated.

12/29/2018 - 2:16pm Dark, highly recommend.

Dark, highly recommend.

That's twice Perry has run a weak route on a slant.  Alligator arms

I was going to say the same.  Not all that excited for this game.

Last game probably cost us Harrison, but thankfully that's probably it.

12/22/2018 - 12:19pm Grew up an M fan.  I saw an…

Grew up an M fan.  I saw an interview with him when he was about 14 and he said his goal was to play football for Michigan.  Kinda like Logan Brown and Wisconsin.

12/21/2018 - 12:49pm Reminds me of Mcaffery.  Can…

Reminds me of Mcaffrey.  Can run but leaves you scared he is going to get broken in half with how he runs.  Doesn't have any zip on his balls, but hopefully that improves as he gets stronger.  Likely a bit of a project, but he won't be starting right away anyways.

12/20/2018 - 5:08pm Shut your mouth, that's a…

Shut your mouth, that's a good song.  Their last good album before they sold out and started releasing pop crap.

12/19/2018 - 10:40pm Maybe because Hassan won't…

Maybe because Hassan won't crack the 3 deep at RB so move him to a position where we don't even have a 3 deep at this time.

12/18/2018 - 6:05pm I think he is listed at 235…

I think he is listed at 235 right now so anyone who says he will play DT is just guessing.

12/18/2018 - 4:01pm The one reason I'm not as…

The one reason I'm not as concerned about Harrison is Ojabo.  I think he can be something special.

12/18/2018 - 12:01pm Seems ambitious.   I'm…

Seems ambitious.   I'm skeptical about this working out, but what do I know.

12/18/2018 - 1:33am So you think Harbaugh had…

So you think Harbaugh had given up in the OSU game and was just trying to get PT for the backups?

12/18/2018 - 1:30am This brings up a good point,…

This brings up a good point, why was Nordin starting over Moody in the first place?  He has a history of being an inconsistent kicker.

12/18/2018 - 1:28am What about them?  When a…

What about them?  When a blanket statement like Harbaugh plays the players that give him the best chance of winning is made, it only takes one instance to punch a hole in that argument.  It's not like I think Harbaugh is intentionally sabotaging the team.  I do think he is stubborn and I wonder if he always makes the best decisions though.  Hell, was holding onto Drevno for so long in the best interest of this team winning?  All you need is a few instances to see a trend.  Why was Gil getting so much PT when Ross was, by most accounts, clearly the better player?

12/18/2018 - 12:20am I'm not sure I completely…

I'm not sure I completely buy this.  Playing Bolden over Gedeon?  Throwing a fade to that walk on WR instead of a guy like Black?  Giving freshmen Higdon some of his first carries in a high pressure situation against MSU?  Sometimes I think they play the guys they think earned the right to play as opposed to the guys that give them the best chance to win.  It's not always the same thing.

12/17/2018 - 11:58pm Sometimes I wonder if it is…

Sometimes I wonder if it is a meritocracy, or if the coaches are playing their favorites.  There are times when guys are on the bench and we know they are better than the guys that are out there.  See Bolden/Gedeon.  So if you have a guy who is stuck on the bench behind someone else and they think they are better than them, maybe it's entitlement and maybe it's coaches playing their favorites.  I can see a player getting frustrated in this situation and wanting out, and we simply don't know if it's warranted or not.  Is Steuber better than Hudson?  We have no way of knowing that, but I think it's a fairly safe bet that Hudson didn't think he was.
