11/11/2018 - 1:07pm If Bama loses to Georgia in…

If Bama loses to Georgia in the SEC Championship game, Clemson stays undefeated, ND is undefeated, OK is 12-1, and Michigan is 12-1 B10 champ the playoff ranking will look something like this:

1. Clemson

2. Georgia

3. ND

4. Bama

Michigan ends up playing OK in some bowl game or something like that. Harbaugh goes on a media rampage and the committee talks about expanding to 8 allowing for all power 5 conference champs and three wild cards.

11/10/2018 - 6:51pm I didn’t understand the…

I didn’t understand the backup quarterback selection at all. Basically gave both of them no real game practice. Wasted opportunity in that regard.

And he's a genuinely a great kid.  Would be super happy to eat crow here!

Peters himself said last year that he "kinda checked out" when he was told he was going to be third string.  It was a Buamgardner article that was put out last year.  I don't think its totally unfair to be worried about that.

It's probably why he hasn't announced yet.  Wants to be around Cbus as little time as possible as a known commit of Michigan.

What video?  I want to see the clip.

100%. Just like how the committee wanted OSU in the first playoff over TCU. They want Harbaugh and Michigan in. They wanted them in 2016 and if not for one of games (either Iowa or OSU) they would have been in.

That’s good news. He could be helpful I imagine.

Its the angle of the picture.  He's enormous in person.  Which makes it crazier that he runs the track times he does.

That is not true. At the Nebraska game it was never more then 80% full. Nebraska fans whom I was talking to asked if that was normal here. Sadly I told them yes.

10/04/2018 - 2:41pm The student section didn't…

The student section didn't look that bad for the Nebraska game but it wasn't good.  Nebraska fans in front of me turned around and asked if it was always like that.  I've been saying for years its not a good look that the students don't pack the place for all of the games.  Only do it for a few games a year.

Oh please, just don't read the quotes if you're going to respond like that.

10/02/2018 - 8:52pm But Alabama has moved away…

But Alabama has moved away from traditional pro style...its like when a reporter told Don Brown his defense wouldn't work in the NFL and his response was "well good thing I coach college".

I think Harbaugh has been stubborn with his offense the past 1.5 years and not adapting as much as he should.  I feel like the NFL really forced him into this mold and has had times where he struggles with the college game compared to the NFL.  It's something I'm hoping he continues to adapt too but its taking longer then I thought.

10/02/2018 - 5:12pm I believe the full on pro…

I believe the full on pro style offense doesn't work across the board in college because it requires too many moving pieces.  You need a good/great offensive line to buy the qb time, the wr needs to run the perfect route, and the qb make the perfect throw, then the wr needs to make the perfect catch.  Almost need 11 elite guys running the system.

Theres a reason that even Alabama has moved away from the traditional pro set up.  Spreads work, get athletes in space.  Not saying it needs to be Rich Rods offense but theres a reason why Harbaughs offense hasn't looked up to par when we need a quick score.

09/02/2018 - 9:28am 8-4 if they can beat Penn…

8-4 if they can beat Penn State. Will lose to Michigan State, WI, and OSU.  So glad they cancelled Arkansas for ND last night...

That sounds good, I'll take that please!

No one really knows what he's going to do, but for the most part overall it should be a positive.  He came into camp and took the job.  The fact that Harbaugh named him the starter over a player who's now been here three years, and a guy who's been here two years is a big deal.  Harbaugh has said in the past he'll say the qb battle is over when someone comes in a wins it.

Since he did this with two weeks to go in camp that's a big deal.  I imagine we will see more production out of him then we saw last year.

Cheese & rice...seeing it like that is really depressing.

Pretty sure thats not how it works.  Final score shows OSU won.  I don't understand the part of our fan base who walk around saying Michigan won that game when they didn't.

Get outta here.  BP looked scared the whole bowl game.  So would I if I had been knocked out the way he had in the WI game, but I've never played a down of football.

Why so offended by the term hater?

Just because Nick isn't a cheerleader type doesn't mean he's not a good reporter.  In fact I think its a good thing to have rather then just the rah rah reporter who cannot explain what happened when things went wrong.

Nick has been serving ice cold truth since I started following him.  Just because its a tough pill to swallow doesn't mean you should get bent out of shape every time he puts some information out there.

Pull this thread, it might be one of the worst I've seen...what a waste of time.

07/31/2018 - 10:07pm Its a very tough schedule. …

Its a very tough schedule.  Michigan hasn't won a ranked road game since 2006.  The offensive line is still a question mark, and the qb is still unproven.

Now this isn't to say Michigan cannot win 12 games and go to the playoff, its just saying there is a lot of work in front of them and a lot of things need to go right.

The tweet she sent was in regards to the whole eating chicken thing.  Seems like JOK liked it because she's overreacting to something weird and funny.

I just don't understand what would make someone think its a good idea to tweet that hate towards someone.  Just people being awful.

Seems like he's saying the annoying Twitter fans are the ones that suck.  Can't say I disagree with him.  It's not like he wanted to throw that int at the end of the OSU game.  Look on the dudes face after that game said it all. These are people, not just video game characters for our entertainment.

07/24/2018 - 11:57am He probably walked into the…

He probably walked into the toughest time in Michigan football history.  The programs had basically been lost, no identity, locker room split, fan base not happy, ect.

2015 was a 9/10.  The Utah game Michigan really had no reason to be in that game and was close to winning it, the MSU was won until that last play, and really the only blemish was getting blown out by OSU.

2016 was a 5.9/10 maybe worse in my opinion.  You had 11 NFL players who were drafted and lost three games?  That's a failure in my mind.  I know bad calls in the OSU game, but they still lost it.  Iowa was a blown game.  I don't really think Michigan was ready for what a fight that game was going to be.  And the FSU game really shouldn't have had a chance to win it at end but somehow managed to have the lead at the end but ended up losing it.

2017 is a tough one was rate 6 or 7/10.  I think coaching was not good last year.  I believe they were using too difficult of concepts and having things be too NFL for a group of younger college kids.  MSU game plan was terrible but on the other hand the OSU plan was great.  A qb who was average would have won that game by 2 tds.

This year will say a lot.  Yeah there have been a lot of tough games on the road but this team is probably more talented then the 2016 teams.  I feel like this has to be the year where break through.  If so I think the Michigan train is ready to make a Clemson/Alabama/OSU breakthrough, if not then I don't know if it will ever happen.

I like this guy.  Should all strive to be more rational.

07/20/2018 - 9:39pm If they can't do it this…

If they can't do it this year with a team that could potentially lose as many players to the NFL (at least on defense) as 2016 then its a failure for sure.  There shouldn't be any more excuses to not making it to the B10 title game.  Upperclassman of Gary, Bush, Hudson, Long, Hill, Kinnel, Chase, plus others should be plenty.

If you can win with these guys then when will it ever happen?

07/20/2018 - 10:03am This is a sign its time to…

This is a sign its time to take a step back from Michigan athletics.  Not quit being a fan, or following, etc.  Just take a few weeks away from here, Freep, anything related to Michigan sports.  I've done that this year.  Just not spending as much time following everything and I find myself nice and relaxed.  If something that trivial gets you that worked up a break can be a nice thing.

This is supposed to be a pass time for us.  I cannot control anything with the school or teams so I'm really working on not letting this control my level of happiness.  Sure a win MSU or OSU will make me happy, but I'm working on a loss not destroying my week.

07/18/2018 - 9:03am It’s one of those things…

It’s one of those things where I feel bad complaining since it’s great content during the season and when things are happening, but while the old site looked old and dated this new one seems really outdated as well.

While I know it wasn’t made just for me I wasn’t impressed at the look when this was rolled out. Would be nice to have a notification alert when someone comments back to you, gives you points, negs you, etc. Comparing this site to the layout of 11 Warriors looks like the record of the game over the past 15 years....

07/16/2018 - 8:36am Agree with your comment 100%…

Agree with your comment 100%.  1 & dones need to make sure that everything is going for them.  They need to put up numbers that make them look as good as possible to get to the NBA.  Coach B is always going to tell the kid where they would fit in and how they can help the team.  I'm good with that.

07/13/2018 - 9:56am Going to have to side with…

Going to have to side with wildbackdunesman here.  His track record at BGSU and Utah disagree with not being good with X's & O's.  Your first message said against elite coaches he wouldn't do well.  But he's beat Harbaugh 3 times, Saban in the first playoff.

07/13/2018 - 9:04am Not to be that guy but I don…

Not to be that guy but I don't think Michigan has really "proven" it under Harbaugh.  Still haven't won a ranked game on the road since 2006, rival record isn't there, etc.  While Penn State has won the B10, played the Rose Bowl, etc.  I think we'll get there but we shockingly haven't had the success that Franklin has had.

07/13/2018 - 8:59am Oh come on. Urban has…

Oh come on. Urban has basically the highest winning percentage in the game.  As much as we all love Michigan here saying he's not one of the top two coaches in the game is just silly.

07/02/2018 - 2:58pm Columbus, Ohio

Columbus, Ohio

Pros; awesome city to leave near, always stuff to do, great places to eat, nice neighborhoods, booming industries.  Got really lucky to get our house when we did because the property values have been going through the roof.

Negatives; well duh, pretty much a given.

07/02/2018 - 10:22am Just telling you what I know…

Just telling you what I know/happened.  He very well could end up picking really any school, but him along with some of his friends would joking tease me about my Michigan stuff.  I then would tell him to run more laps haha.

Since he's been recruited by all sorts of schools the few times I see him I don't ask him anything about it.  It's not my place to ask/push my personal opinion on him.  He's going to make the decision I believe is best for him.

It's great that Michigan has really gotten back into this because of Al Washington and whatnot, but I just believe the ties to OSU are too strong.
