Your kid going to that last class does not come with inherent risk of losing the chance to make a ton of money beyond graduation because of injury.

Agreed. At this point there is literally ZERO benefit to him commenting on the situation. If anyone brings it up, he can say “I would direct you to the findings of the University. Next question.”

Keep on digging Urban.

The fact that he keeps bringing this up tells me he is worried about long term repercussions. Either that or he is just an idiot.

This solidifies my belief that this will be almost a spitting image of the Florida opener last year.

23 - 10 Good Guys.

Shea struggles the first few drives, but the run game gives us a slight edge at the half.  Don Brown makes a couple of tweaks and ND doesn't score the rest of the game while the offense finds its feet.

Thanks for this Brian.  I was going to write up something similar but you nailed it on the head.  This morning I was seething with anger.  Now I am just tired and beaten down. Thanks for putting words to my emotions.

2012 UofM v Northwestern

08/14/2018 - 1:34pm Lets think about this…

Lets think about this logically...

If the seller is a former player who transferred to new program:  May incite more scrutiny at his new school/team and could potentially influence eligibility at their new school. This would not hurt UofM but could hurt the player/school now associated with the seller.

If the seller is a former coach:  Nothing but a distraction during prep time for the coming season. Bringing your name into the conversation will not help UofM anymore than UofM investigating themselves with people on staff who are paid to look into these things.

All other possibilities: Newton's First Law, Bystander Effect, etc...

Basically, there are tons of reasons not to get yourself involved when the result will end up being the same even if it means more work on someone else.

08/11/2018 - 5:02pm Good to hear. Hope it ends…

Good to hear. Hope it ends up being the case.

So basically this tells me that so long as you tell your boss that you are extending the contract of a domestic violence perpetrator you are good to go.  Got it.

I had to drive down State Street today and I can confirm that the team appeared to be on the practice field.  Other than that, I think you are going to be waiting awhile for actual intel... Sorry goblue95.

08/04/2018 - 9:20pm Yeah, this explanation makes…

Yeah, this explanation makes sense.  Good reminder to think through that those who may have the appropriate response are the most likely to be shamed by the more vocal, irrational group.

Whats the saying? Don't argue with idiots, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

08/04/2018 - 8:56pm I am curious about where you…

I am curious about where you are seeing the schism? Obviously what we see and hear at 11Warriors or elsewhere is going to be a pretty small sample size and should not be attributed to the whole. But it seems like much of what we are hearing out of the OSU camp is stronger and stronger support of Meyer?

Would love your thoughts on if this is just selection bias on our part on what we are reading from OSU side of things or if there really is a shift in people's attitude toward Meyer.

08/04/2018 - 8:46pm Assuming more and more…

Assuming more and more things slowly come out about how this (and potentially other situations) were handled, I expect him to resign in about 2-3 weeks with a full apology for his "lack of follow up" in regards to his reporting things to the necessary channels.

I don't for a second think he will believe in what he is saying but will read the writing on the wall realizing that course of action would be the fastest way for him to be rehired somewhere else.

08/04/2018 - 6:22pm I think you are exactly…

I think you are exactly right. However, I don’t expect those FOIA requests to be completed all to quickly on OSU’s end.
