Nanticoke had another much like his goal in the NCAAs against Denver where he initiated contact at the perimeter with his defender using his shoulder knocking him backward.  Then ripped one from about 25ft.  The guy is a bull.

In that video you’ll see Denver’s face off specialist Trevor Baptiste.  One of the best at his craft and a load at 230.  He’s #9 on team USA.

As for the Thompson’s (Lyle, miles, ty) just google and prepare to have your mind blown by what they can do.

Check out a couple highlights from Albany’s tournament victory over Denver.  Physical goal by Nanticoke at 4:25 mark and incredible play through the dick slap gauntlet to beat the buzzer at 5:40.  A freshman mind you destroying veteran defenders.

Did anyone hear Sam’s interview with Gray when he said that there was a period where he cooled on Michigan when it seems we stopped contacting him?  Gray said himself that it was Drevno who preferred recruiting bigger backs.  Imagine missing out on this guy and watching him blow up somewhere else?  How the fortunes could change with adjustments near the top.

05/25/2018 - 5:01pm The stadium issue killed the deal

If the jail site was lined up I think Detroit would’ve gotten a team. And I thought it was an ideal redemption of a flawed plan to put a jail there. I think the problem was that a deal for the property and demo of unfinished project couldn’t be worked out in the timeframe that MLS wanted it done.

I could care less if MLS came to Detroit. I was more disappointed that a downtown MLS stadium would’ve given us a better shot at Major League Lacrosse. WTF, Columbus has an MLL team.

05/15/2018 - 12:39pm This Auto Start/Stop feature sucks. People die sometimes

I’m driving a 2016 Volvo XC 60 T5. And I know from listening to a ton of other cars restart at stoplights that this is now a prevalent feature. How much fuel is actually saved? I can see maybe at RR crossings when stopped for a train but i normally shut my car off as they do in Europe when that rare occurrence happens.

The problem with it is that when coasting sometimes, around 2-3 mph, the software decides to shut off the engine which is still engaged to the transmission. So it goes from a nice slow roll to abrupt stop. The Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive is much more refined as it shuts off the gas engine and continues under electric power quietly and flawlessly.

The bigger problem is that when combined with the push button/keyless systems people are dying. They think the car is shut off in their garage. No engine noise then minutes later the car restarts especially if the HVAC system is on. The push button on the Volvo is confusing. Sometimes the car turns off when in P and the drivers door opens, but not always. Sometimes if I press the Start/Stop button that puts it in Accessory ON. So I can see how this can easily happen. I have left a Toyota Camry Hybrid running in my driveway due to the same issues.

04/28/2018 - 4:09pm To Sudden Death OT

In 2nd qtr the Hopkins Dman made a slick stick check and picked up the ground ball in the same move right of his goal. Made a wicked spin move and pass that put his attackman on his ass. Who says long poles don’t have good handles

04/28/2018 - 4:05pm The women’s game

Is a non-contact sport. Stick checks are allowed but not body checks

04/28/2018 - 4:02pm Hopkins & Terps in a good one

JH had a 7-5 lead with about 5:00 left. MD scored the last 2. And it’s 7-7 with 1:03 left. Low scoring but both teams have had good scoring opportunities. Hopkins goalie is in the zone. Stoned the Maryland Attackman on back to back shots- a low to high, stick side from about 10 yds and the rebound point blank.

04/13/2018 - 2:20pm Even Valenti is astounded by Engler’s incompetence

Engler’s comments about Dean Strampel were outrageous, allegedly. According to her statement on audio, she said Engler rolled his eyes and called Strampels actions ‘just a slap on the butt’. The level of douchebaggery is unprecedented in EL. Mike says ‘it’s stunning...maybe I’m just shell shocked still and processing the actual level, the gravity of these statements’ “it’s so outrageous and offensive”

04/08/2018 - 9:19pm #2 Maryland went into State College and beat #18 PSU 13-12

I just watched the last 10 min. Solid road win for the Terps. As we saw first hand they are a very good team. Penn State ran out of time. Brought it within 1 with under 20 sec left.

We close the regular season at Penn St 4/28. We need at least 2 wins in the last 3 games (OSU, JH, PSU).

04/08/2018 - 3:10pm Sloppy game from the start

Failed to cash in on multiple man up situations. Couldn’t even get a shot at times. Unforced turnovers. Completely out of sync. I felt bad for Heidi when Rutgers was steamrolling. I turned it off at 13-1 to pick up dog poo and wet rotten leaves. Needles to say I had a better time than M Lax today. Need to regroup and get tOSU in front of their crowd prior to their Spring football game.

04/07/2018 - 10:03am I was 13 when the tragic bus crash occurred on I-71 in KY in ‘88

We would pass the site, which is marked by a sign, on our way down to my aunt and uncle’s house every summer. I looked it up last night when hearing about the Saskatchewan tragedy. That was caused by a drunk driver crossing the interstate and colliding head on with a church bus destined for Kings Island. Everyone survived the initial collision. But horrifically 27 perished when a fuel tank ignited at the front of the bus trapping many onboard.

The debate will rage on regarding the safety and ethics of autonomous vehicles. But the fact remains that people will continue to die due to inattentiveness, impaired and drowsy drivers at the wheel. Society will have to decide what is an acceptable level of injury and fatalities with autonomous vehicles interacting with human driven vehicles.

04/07/2018 - 3:34am Tragically it is reported that there are 14 fatalities among the

28 that were on the bus . There are 3 critically injured. A very sad situation.…

03/29/2018 - 11:09pm Uncanny resemblance to the coach from Arch Rivals

A video game from the 80s. I think I took this from the Northwestern game as he was pointing something out to J Poole. Check out the comparison

03/25/2018 - 4:40pm Expect a make up call

On anything that can be close to interpreted as a penalty on UofM. Bet BU gets next PP

03/25/2018 - 4:36pm Terrible holding call on BU

But we’ll take the PP. better capitalize and build on the lead

03/25/2018 - 1:12pm From the court side mic

What, you still throwing up bricks? What is this, a Masons convention? Wha... clank, clank! I need, like, a welding torch to play in this league! I got an idea... let's just stop right now and gather up all these bricks and let's build a shelter for the homeless so maybe your mother will have a place to live!

03/25/2018 - 11:05am Good advice

Wes Leonard was found to have had an enlarged heart following a viral illness shortly before he passed. Pre season screening would not have predicted that would’ve happened to him. Sadly the first signs and symptoms are sometimes the last. It’s important to learn from these incidents. There are plenty of coaches, parents and fans on this forum. The initial reaction when this happens is disbelief. The impulse to act must follow. It’s counter to our societal norm to put hands on other people. When in doubt break out the AED and place the patches. It’s so east that a 5th grader can do it. If your instincts are unfortunately correct you can save a life. If not, the worst that happens is a pair of sticky patches gets used up. They are expendable people are not.

03/25/2018 - 9:47am Years ago I was in awe of a HS freshman

Performance by UofD Jesuit’s, Cassius Winston at Kalamazoo Loy Norrix and hoped that Beilein could land him. Feeling disappointed that he commited to Izzo I hoped that we could match that commitment at PG. here we are realizing that coach B got the better floor general. More complete in his game- decision making, ball handling, finishing at the rim, DEFENSE. All aspects favor Z over that other dude that hasn’t made it past the opening weekend yet.

03/24/2018 - 8:10pm Ginormous 8th grader smashing kids his age

See the video here:…

03/24/2018 - 7:31pm I’m afraid for the opposing 8th graders that he

Pancakes. Watched vid of him last night.

03/24/2018 - 5:13pm UMBC cut the lead to 2 goals 5 times today

EVERY time Michigan countered with the next goal. That’s huge especially when on the road. But the story of the game was Tommy Heidt’s robbery on 13 saves of 19 shots. He stoned UMBC from point blank with 3:15 to go when it was 8-5. UMBC would go on to score the next one but who knows how it would’ve played out in a 2 goal game with over 3 min left? Solid win. On to the B1G 10 stretch

03/24/2018 - 4:01pm 5-2 lead at half

Michigan has 15 shots. 9 on goal. UMBC with 18 shots 10 of them on goal. Heidt in goal for UofM. Michigan leads 13-6 on ground balls and 7-1 on face offs. Retrievers are 0 for 1 on the only man up situation of the half.

03/24/2018 - 3:54pm Highlights from the ND game

Conry has the program in the right direction in his first season as HC.

03/24/2018 - 3:46pm Watched JH come back against UVA

Jays were down 2-9 at Virginia. Cavaliers offense went cold and JH took the lead in the 4th 12-11.

Was watching UDM at Monmouth on watch ESPN app at the same time. Titans tied it @9 with 5 sec left. Not sure what happened in the OT?

03/19/2018 - 3:00pm Dude seemed shell shocked

In the post game statement they showed on SportsCenter the other night. Scoreboard B!tch

03/19/2018 - 2:38pm Let him have MrB

Then watch Dejulius play with a chip and abuse him ala Isiah Thomas v john Stockton post Dream Team announcement.

03/19/2018 - 2:33pm It’s great listening to Velente torch Izzo

For playing Tillman. For getting smoked by better teams this year. His record vs Boeheim, K, et al. We may see their fan base completely turn on the great Izzo. Really is must listen radio

03/18/2018 - 6:36pm A&M just went up 20 on NC

Magnetic north is shifting, big solar flare today. Something is up. This is madness

03/18/2018 - 5:40pm Golden years of Izzo era 2016-future

2-3 in tournament beginning with loss to MTSU. Losses to 15 & 11 seeds and 2nd round loss last year. With likely departures of Bridges and Jackson Jr. good luck to them next year.

03/18/2018 - 9:36am Really needs to quit fouling guys on the elbow

With his chin. F-ing ridiculous 3rd and 4th foul calls last night.

03/18/2018 - 9:24am Maybe you’re right

It was possible that Beilein was getting into Mathews for not getting back to Gray. They cut to commercials when the TO was called so we’ll never know. Better work out these mental errors before the next rounds.

03/18/2018 - 9:20am Mathews was on him the previous possession

When Gray took him to the hole. I think Simmons was confused as to who had him on that inbound. Beilein was on him following the busted coverage. I expect a seasoned player to be more mentally prepared. Z was locked in from the jump.

03/18/2018 - 9:00am In the den doors shut

Sick kid with flu upstairs, sick twins with something else upstairs, exhausted wife crashed on couch. Teenage kid came in to watch. I was yelling at the little girl that was courtside on TV crying because it wasn’t over with 3.6. Atwater Dirty Blonde and pickle flavored Doritos from a colleague that lives in Canada. Luckily I didn’t wake the house or I wouldn’t be here this morning.

03/18/2018 - 1:07am Kelvin Sampson’s post game comments on the shot

Coach looked absolutely shell-shocked.

03/18/2018 - 1:02am ESPN SC

#1 play of the day! Hair Jordan

03/18/2018 - 12:18am That little girls tears

Won us the game!!!

03/17/2018 - 10:43pm That was a tremendous performance.

Complete domination by the 16 seed in all facets. The only possible negative is that it overshadows the Middle Tennessee State U masterpiece.

03/17/2018 - 10:34pm Great start to the season

Conry is putting his stamp on the team. Hoping he puts us on an upward trajectory. It’s a tough conference. Hoping we can take ND in their house. Doing a great job on home turf. Ohio St has been beatable, losing to Marquette and squeeking by Jacksonville and Detroit Mercy. Let’s get a W in the toilet right before their football spring game.

03/05/2018 - 8:44pm Oakland up 1 down the stretch
