Can’t have much of an ego trip when you’re working for a coach that crushed you twice in three years.

11/08/2018 - 5:38pm Long already said they want…

Long already said they want a guy with prior HC experience.  Ed doesn’t fit that.

Im really hoping they hire Les.

11/07/2018 - 3:22pm Haskins doesn’t run so Shea…

Haskins doesn’t run so Shea wasn’t going to help him too much.

11/07/2018 - 9:52am HIGHA AND HIIIIIIGHA!

HIGHA AND HIIIIIIGHA!

11/07/2018 - 1:00am Load up on pot stock.

Load up on pot stock.

The more ore states legalize the more those stocks increase in value

11/05/2018 - 4:13pm December sometime.  He wants…

December sometime.  He wants to enroll early IIRC.

11/05/2018 - 4:12pm And Andrew Ellis at 11W.

And Andrew Ellis at 11W.

I think like 7 or 8 CBs went in for Michigan on Harrison today.

11/01/2018 - 10:54pm That’s what elite corners do…

That’s what elite corners do.  They hold without getting caught.

Jourdan Lewis would tell you that.

10/30/2018 - 6:25pm Didn’t work for John…

Didn’t work for John Tortorella.

10/26/2018 - 6:19pm Watson was a Hoke recruit…

Watson was a Hoke recruit wasn't he?

10/26/2018 - 6:15pm I remember back in the…

I remember back in the middle of the Hoke tenure during one of their signing day shows that he was the host or something.  So I assume he had a job in the athletic department at some point.

And I assume him not getting on board with Jim and co is that he lost his job after the whole transition from Brandon/Hoke to Harbaugh/Hackett/Warde.

He's a petty piece of garbage, and somehow BTN is putting up with his stupidity.

10/26/2018 - 10:16am Only two guys I can recall…

Only two guys I can recall off the top of my head from that Paterno staff that still have jobs are Larry Johnson at Ohio State and Tom Bradley with UCLA and now the Steelers.

10/26/2018 - 1:00am The dude was basically…

The dude was basically threatened with getting fired to get rid of his boy Donovan as OC.

Theyll be back to 7 and 8 win seasons in no time.

10/25/2018 - 3:23pm LSU best then number 2…

LSU best then number 2 Georgia.

They deserve it.

Besides, theyll either be below us if they lose to Bama (and we beat Penn State) or they’d jump us anyways if they beat Bama.

The rankings right now for top 5 really don’t matter too much.  Too many big games ahead that’ll shake things out.

10/25/2018 - 2:59pm Being afraid to speak your…

Being afraid to speak your mind sounds pretty toxic to me.

10/25/2018 - 2:58pm Haven’t thought most of SNL…

Haven’t thought most of SNL has been funny since Will Farrell left.

The Californians and Black Jeopardy are pretty good tho.

Never heard of this guy you mentioned though.

10/23/2018 - 6:36pm Warde and Harbaugh review…

Warde and Harbaugh review tape of certain calls/actions they want to address and then they send them to the league.  Harbaugh’s been doing this since he came back.

10/22/2018 - 7:08pm Gotta beat OSU to make the…

Gotta beat OSU to make the CFP.

2 losses is pretty tough to make the top 4 with.

Sucks he’s finally gonna fire Warner

10/22/2018 - 10:08am Cheap shot artists?

Cheap shot artists?

UM isn’t the one on tape trying to blow out Ruiz’s ACL while he’s stuck in a pile after the whistle.

10/21/2018 - 4:49pm Better coaching and better…

Better coaching and better depth on offense.

This is about to become Stanford 2.0 that went to BCS Bowls 5/6 years.

10/21/2018 - 1:36pm Just keep winning and we’ll…

Just keep winning and we’ll make the playoffs.  Simple as that.

10/21/2018 - 1:34pm PSU seems to have reverted…

PSU seems to have reverted back to the conservative Franklin/Donovan days.

Moorehead was the brains behind those monster offenses.

Michigan should be able to run for chunks.  If they were able to get good yardage against Sparty’s DL, they’ll be very successful against Penn State.

Michigan State is probably the hardest DL we’ll face the rest of the year.

10/21/2018 - 12:29am Just tuned in.  Wanna see…

Just tuned in.  Wanna see how Wilton is doing since getting benched game 1

10/20/2018 - 11:23pm I’ve never seen a FG kicker…

I’ve never seen a FG kicker kick the ball like it was a knuckleball pitch.

i don’t know what’s wrong with his form.

10/20/2018 - 7:55pm Only coach I had an issue…

Only coach I had an issue with today was Pep.  He was calling the game like he was scarred.  Ain’t got no time for that.

OL FINISHED this game.  Something they couldn’t do the last two years.

Once again, Hail Warinner and hail Herbert.

10/20/2018 - 7:53pm Newsome also confirmed…

Newsome also confirmed Dantonio was there.

Id be inclined to believe Grant friggin Newsome than Mork “look the other way” Dantoni

10/18/2018 - 9:09pm Hence why I have no problem…

Hence why I have no problem giving him the title and the raise, as long as he stays and coaches that OL to its potential.

10/18/2018 - 8:22pm :shrugs: I think his…

:shrugs: I think his offensive philosophy meshes better with what Harbaugh wants to do than Meyer.

Ohio State when he was the main OC:

2015: 40 in total offense.  28 in scoring.  S&P+: 20

2016: 33 in total offense.  13 in scoring. S&P+: 23

Michigan those years:

2015: 66 in total offense. 50 in scoring.  S&P+: 38

2016: 57 in total offense. 11 in scoring. S&P+: 41

And Michigan's offense right now ranks 27 in S&P+.

I don't necessarily buy into the OSU fan narrative about him.  Given that he has input on plays already, just give him the title and the pay that goes with it.

10/18/2018 - 6:19pm Ed is only signed on a 2…

Ed is only signed on a 2 year deal worth 1.075 (537k per year) contract.

His contract extension needs to be priority number 1 with a bullet.  Be the biggest loss of the Harbaugh tenure if UM somehow let him walk.

I don't think they will though.  Harbaugh loves working with him.

I agree with Baumgardner and just name him OL/OC.  We know he can actually handle those duties because he was (co)OC/OL at Ohio State for 5 years.

Shoot even just make him RGC and give him a fat pay raise.

10/17/2018 - 3:49pm Only place I know of to let…

Only place I know of to let him go is Ohio State.

And I think that’s probably because his offensive philosophy differs from Urban.

He left Notre Dame for a promotion at Ohio State.

Unsure of why he left Minnesota to be an analyst at Michigan but I know they didn’t fire him.

10/16/2018 - 4:40pm No, you dont want his…

No, you dont want his support.

You know this guy is a Holocaust Denier and doesn't think gays exist in Iran right?

10/16/2018 - 3:41am Cmon Don, look at JBB during…

Cmon Don, look at JBB during Drevno and look at JBB now with Warinner.

Thatvalone should make you rush the field to give that man a hug.

10/11/2018 - 1:44pm Kemp is fine.  Hasn't even…

Kemp is fine.  Hasn't even been mentioned with the injury stuff.  SOlomon is probably going to play too.

10/11/2018 - 1:33pm They used to be able to. …

They used to be able to.  Wisconsin had the luxury for the first stretch of Chryst's time there to have great DCs.

Jim Leonhard is not one of those great DCs.  The secondary wasn't even that good the one year he was only the DB coach.  Now hes DC/DB. Going from Aranda and WIlcox to a guy that had 1 season of coaching experience before becoming a coordinator is.....a bit of a dip.  And I think it's showing.

TJ Edwards is still out there, though.

EDIT:  To further about the state of their defensive staff, their ILB coach Bob Bostad never coached defense until Wisconsin hired him in 2017.  Before that he was primarily an OL coach in both college and the NFL.  So don't know why hes suddenly coaching ILB.  Reminds me of when HOke moved Roy Manning to coach the safeties, and that didn't end well.

10/11/2018 - 1:27pm Both their starting DEs and…

Both their starting DEs and starting CBs are hurt.  Their pass D is baaaaaad my dude and now their run D took a hit with the LBs getting dinged up.

10/10/2018 - 2:44am Surprised Haskins or Trace…

Surprised Haskins or Trace aren’t number 1.

Is this just for last last week or for the season so far?

10/08/2018 - 10:50am Yeah he was saying you have…

Yeah he was saying you have to be majority upper class men like 2016 to have his offense really be effective IIRC.

Hopefully the depth is there now so it can keep rolling in the coming years.

10/06/2018 - 4:46pm Becoming a bit of a broken…

Becoming a bit of a broken record at this point but the OL once again looked solid.

Tru was a beast today.

Shea so close to 300 yards today but a good day all around for him.

Is it just me or is this offense doing something they couldn’t do at all last year and grind people down and wear them out?  Herbert paying dividends.

That was McKeon’s drop wasn’t it?

09/29/2018 - 11:54pm I think Shea had an off day…

I think Shea had an off day.  I also think plays like McKeon dropping a wide open perfectly thrown ball attributed to that.  NW loaded the box because of it and run game wasn’t amazing.  Felt like we were burning first downs on fire with runs up the gut every time.

I also think the OL has their best game of the year.  Hail Warinner.

Head scratcher why they sent Perry on a fade route in the EZ when they could’ve literally sent anyone else that’s like 4 inches taller.

Good to fight back from 17 down.  But it shouldn’t have gotten to that.

Really hope the vanilla playcalling is because they keeping some things in their back pocket for the Wiscy/MSU/PSU stretch.

Significant offers are Minnesota, Indiana, Kentucky and Iowa State.

This team hasn’t bullied teams since 2016.

Yes this is encouraging.  OL looks better every week.  Warinner knows how to coach them up.

09/23/2018 - 1:18am He’ll get hired elsewhere…

He’ll get hired elsewhere before Urban leaves.

Just like how Muschamp was coach in waiting at Texas.

It’s almost like we have one of the best OL coaches in the country and he isn’t distracted by also having coordinator duties

09/19/2018 - 2:07pm Nick Baumgarner said…

Nick Baumgarner said something interesting on his Michigan Rant podcast this week, basically saying that Nebraska fans are putting the savior tag on a guy that has a otal of 2 years and 3 games head coaching experience.

Going from UCF to Nebraska is a big leap. Like Hoke going from SDSU to Michigan.  Could overwhelm him.
