Dude so far, compared to previous seasons, this is the best thru 2 episodes. The coach is hilarious. They haven't developed the players as of yet, but the coach can carry a show by himself.

07/20/2018 - 11:47am Just watched the 1st episode…

Just watched the 1st episode of this season, and my observations.

1. The coach is an idiot

2. The coach isn't very good

3. This is gonna be a very good season

4. The coach might lose this team.

Even Brandon Peter's admits he wasn't ready. Why ask the question?

He's a 40 yr old QB, in the off season. Who cares.

07/16/2018 - 1:41pm You failed to acknowledge my…

You failed to acknowledge my example of State compared to Michigan. How many players from that school get any national pub? Winning only matters to an extent. You don't get National appeal from being a top recruit, you get national appeal for being a top recruit at Alabama, OSU, USC, Michigan, or the like. Shea Patterson has gotten more publicity since transferring to Michigan, than he did while playing at Ole Miss. Kids will see this and it will create a bigger divide in the college landscape. JMO, but that is a big hindrance to an idea like this. Big teams in big markets will have another recruiting tool. We can market you better than Arizona St, so come play here.

07/16/2018 - 12:44pm I'm not talking small…

I'm not talking small schools, I'm talking about your Oregon St, Minnesota, Kansas St, Vanderbilts, etc.... Star players don't typically stay 4 - 5 years, so those guys wouldn't be an issue. The issue would be those guys getting the ad space, and notoriety, and by association to the school getting more visibility. These schools would then get the other kids who become 4 - 5 year grad's because they are behind the studs who leave after 3 years. If you are very good and go to your top 25 programs, which really name recognition wise are only a consistent 15 teams, they would benefit the most. Top 4 or 5 schools from the power 5 conferences would benefit the most, thus creating a bigger gap. Look at Michigan for example. We are a name brand, and we honestly haven't been great in a long time, but look at State, who has had some success the past 10 years, but which school has a better ad revenue potential for a budding star player?

07/16/2018 - 9:36am Wouldn't this only benefit…

Wouldn't this only benefit big schools with lots of appeal? The smaller schools with less athletic appeal would never get big time recruits. Kids would see where the money was being doled out and continue to filter there.

It's a quiet period and all the coaches are on vacation.

Does complaining about the site help? I'm asking for a friend.

05/22/2018 - 4:34pm Hasn't

he been trending to DePaul for over a week now. There was a thread on here yesterday about the probability of such a commit.

05/22/2018 - 12:47pm I'm kinda sick

of hearing this. Truth be told, they don't put any more offensive lineman in the league than we do. Michigan currently has more starters in the NFL. History has us almost even, from everything I can find.

05/19/2018 - 8:31am You're

The one complaining and making excuses. They lost because they didn't hit. Same reason they lost to State. Hitting has hurt them all season

05/18/2018 - 4:45pm If they

played a difficult schedule, would you say they were worn out and expended to much energy to make the tourney?

05/17/2018 - 9:00pm No

That means more money is being placed on Michigan to win.

05/17/2018 - 10:23am My personal theory

She didn't want to admit it to herself, but she really cared for that woman, and respected her for dealing with the pain (by refusing morphine so she could feel something) and continuing to paint. She loved it and believed in it (painting), (like Elizabeth's beliefs and loyalty) so she used the paint brush as a sign of respect. Like, this is how the lady would like to go.

05/16/2018 - 4:50pm diesel

I agree with everything except, the beating our chest part. Maybe the circle of friends you hang with beat their chests but the people I hang with know better. That's one of the reasons I get frustrated with people thinking kids turning Michigan down is stupid. Kids don't know the Michigan I grew up with. I'm 46 and I haven't been happy since 2006.

05/13/2018 - 1:02pm I wouldn't

either, but that's an indication of how crappy things have been lately.

05/12/2018 - 6:37am I think he

means leaving us. We are still currently over the limit I believe.

05/11/2018 - 10:14am Do you think

We have donors willing to cheat to compete with the SEC and others on a regular basis?  I just don't believe it. It's a totally different culture than the south.

05/11/2018 - 8:07am I do too

But can you imagine if this is somehow approved. He might be cutting the throats of any program that doesn't cheat. The south would have those football crazy donors setting up retirement funds that would make it impossible for a northern team to get a high 4 or 5 star to even visit. They already have the system in place to get those kids what they want, imagine if it is somehow legalized.

05/10/2018 - 1:01pm OK

I here ya. It's all love, but I will say this one last thing. Unless Shay gets hurt, Brandon Peters will never start another game at UM.

05/10/2018 - 11:45am He was starting

last year before he got hurt, and we saw what Peters was, once he got the opportunity to play, not very good. He may get better, but to this point he was no better than the QB left over by Brady Hoke. Don't get the argument twisted. I wasn't making any statements about coaching decisions. My statement was about turnover and how the lack of recruiting by some coaches, and the inabilty to replace a coach who left (Wheatley who was a good recruiter) with a good recruiter, has hurt more than off campus camps. You can't say Harbaugh has been happy about recruiting, because you don't really know. I do know that some of the biggest targets have gone elsewhere, and I can't see how that would make any coach happy.

05/10/2018 - 11:00am To each his own

I think there is too much interaction already with fans, via social media. Players should play and fans should watch them play.

05/10/2018 - 10:14am It's your

opinion they will fire him. I disagree they will. You stated they didn't do there due diligence in finding out this info, and as a result look incompetent and will thus fire him to save face. I stated the reason I don't think they will, and you someone take that as me saying "you think he deserves to be fired"? You are an idiot.

05/10/2018 - 10:01am Hey stupid ass

I disagree. Simple, without calling you a name. Grow the f up. It sounds like you think they should, because they failed to find out about the accusations before hiring, and they won't fire the guy.

05/10/2018 - 9:58am Bad argument

So many gray areas with rape, allegations, convictions, and so forth. 9 times out of 10 its the victims word againts the accuser. No one else in the room at the time. What stats do you have on people not even being charged when originally accused?

05/10/2018 - 9:52am I love that

you read that whole post and picked out one piece of information. The post was more about expectations and whether fans are "whiny", but I adress what you brought up. For the whole part that is true, and in the 3 yrs that Harbaugh has been here, he hasn't done any better recruiting for the QB position than Hoke. Speight is better than any QB Harbaugh has recruited to this point. We hope and pray Shay can provide a lift and stability, but we still don't know. The issue isn't camps, its coaches, that's why he has brought in the guys he's brought in this year. Guys he hopes are better at building relationships and closing the deal.

05/10/2018 - 9:42am They would be

sued for so much money, it's not financially feasible for them to fire a man that has never been charged with, let alone convicted of anything. This is so stupid. I hope no one ever accuses you of anything, and then changes their mind.

05/10/2018 - 8:15am I don't think

People expecting a little more than we have received as "whiney", but that's just me. We are 1 - 6 against top 10 opponents. We are 4 - 10 against MSU, OSU, Wisconsin and Penn St. and O fer against OSU. I would rather fans be upset with this than apathetic. Hoke left Harbaugh with a team that provided him with his best season. The sky might not be falling, but it sure hasn't been rising. This season will go a long way in determining how recruiting will go in the future. It's my opinion that OSU and MSU are must win games. Being on the road means nothing to me, good to great coaches have to figure out ways to win games like this. I'm just talking baby steps. I'm not saying win the National Championship, but a B1G title is expected in year 4. If that's asking to much, you shouldn't refer to yourselves as leaders and best.

05/09/2018 - 11:36am Interesting

Most answers were effected by commit status, but the OSU love, (Although I think this was in Ohio) is sickening. Understandable considering all the success they've had.

05/09/2018 - 11:34am Not that I know

But how do you know anything about either coaches health?

05/08/2018 - 5:16am Yeah

I don't believe it one bit. If Joe Milton plays, we are fucked at the QB position, and it will be a long season and an off season of discontent.

05/08/2018 - 5:11am Verbal

Non binding. Yeah, he's aware. Not sure the winning thing is that big a deal for a kid waiting on Stanford. It's not like they have been a playoff fixture.

05/07/2018 - 3:05pm Larry Johnson

Curtis Enis, and Franco Harris might disagree. He might be the most athletically gifted, but I'm not a big Barkley fan. I watched a ton of his tape, and he avoids contact, and never runs through people. That might not work so well in NY with that Oline.

05/06/2018 - 6:01pm I hear

and hope you are right about everything except the 1 loss.

05/06/2018 - 4:45pm So you expect

us to be 11 - 0 going into OSU, because a loss or 2 would throw that prediction off a cliff.

05/06/2018 - 1:03pm I hate

this argument. Robert Horry anyone?

05/03/2018 - 1:52pm Nick Farley

was forced to retire for a similar, if not same condition.

04/30/2018 - 4:35pm I don't mind

3 star offensive lineman. I would rather the coaches pick a kid with good bend, lateral movement, great frame, mean streak, and nimble feet. Don't get me wrong, I would take a 5 star, because they tend to have these things, (thus the high rating) but lineman are hard to judge.

04/30/2018 - 9:08am It's not gonna

help you lose weight, unless you never drink real beer again. I tried the Michelob Ultra, but I couldn't keep it up. The minute I started drinking Micro Brews the weight came back, so now its Whiskey, Vodka, Gin and Tonic, and an occasional real tasty beer, and I'm fine. Can't drink beer like I used to, and I was never a 6 - 8 beer a session guy.

04/29/2018 - 7:17am Huh

The team you bet on still has to win, and win against the spread. I'm not sure if you are serious.

04/28/2018 - 7:05am Get over yourself

Threads don't honor people. He's not taking anything away from Cole.

04/27/2018 - 8:53pm Where would

those people go?

04/26/2018 - 1:53pm Is Bill Self

a good coach? He has done less with more than any coach, including Izzo his whole career.

04/26/2018 - 10:52am I don't know

Didn't we (Michigan) start the season in a 3 - 4 and Mo was fine. Isn't Patricia more likely to want versatile players who are effective in both systems? The Patriots played a little of both.

04/23/2018 - 6:12pm I think

He does prefer baseball, because all his major offers were for baseball. Left handed hitting centerfielder with power and range, and Sam said he was hitting like .460, so that's a pretty good prospect
