Get ready for an annoying, possibly anxiety ridden MSU game.

Their game plan might be similar to ND’s, lob it deep on 50/50 balls and use their mobile QB.

And that game is between Wisconsin and PSU, two good teams at home. This is still a hard schedule.

I need more convincing. I’m leaning Burkhead Since the lions have been torn up by RBs lately.

Latavius Murray against the Bills (Cook is out) or Rex Burkhead at Detroit for a flex in full ppr?

Garbage O’Neil crew... that was a bad PI.

09/16/2018 - 11:31am I was at the game and this…

I was at the game and this play happened right in front of us. The WR was the only one aware that the ball was in the air.

It would’ve been a completion without the dirty play. It was also the dirtiest targeting I’ve seen. The SDSU player launched directly at number 84’s head.

But does this play not symbolize the current state of college football?

The evolution of Michigan’s offense based on recruiting (Giles Jackson) and what we’ve seen on the field so far.

09/04/2018 - 2:20pm The board is a tire fire.

The board is a tire fire.

There is no other coach we could want and the program needs stability.

The offense was bad mostly because of tackle the play and then play calling. The defense had some odd calls, made stupid mistakes and just got unlucky.

Big (lucky) plays and a weak offensive showing by UM was the only way ND was going to win. That’s exactly what happened. Suck it up. Good teams lose games to other good teams all the time.

Runyan seemed to blow a lot of run blocks too.

I wonder if OSU will have buckeye branded sex toys soon.

Seems like Zach Smith already did them a solid on the marketing front.

08/12/2018 - 11:38am They have very good WRs and…

They have very good WRs and a very good defense. Plus, what happens if they put their backup qb in and he’s actually better than Wimbush?

The game seems unpredictable given our oline questions.

I thought that was due to Nasser.

Can someone explain the difference between this and Izzy/Dantonio/MSU?

Is it that there here is more evidence that Urban knew? Is it that OSU is higher profile?

08/01/2018 - 12:04pm Meyer instantly hired Kevin…

Meyer instantly hired Kevin Wilson amidst player abuse allegations. He showed his hand by doing so.

I know no OSU coach has retired without scandal or being fired, but this won’t do it. The only chance is that there’s a huge scandal lurking and this forces outsiders to look critically at the program leading to a reveal. (This is nothing more than a fantasy.)

07/26/2018 - 1:52pm The Najee Harris recruitment…

The Najee Harris recruitment is an analogy of Michigan football the last three years. Michigan is so close in nearly every aspect but something comes up at the last second to pull it away. (Think of every game we lost last year minus PSU, OSU’16 game, MSU’15 game, etc...)

Culture and stability take time to build. Meanwhile, fans and analysts think Michigan will always be 8th or our division or some shit because they don’t understand the wreck of a program this was three years ago (plus they don’t watch the games). We shouldn’t expect the college football landscape to remain static (remember “Clemsoning”?). We shouldn’t expect Michigan to remain so close to being a great team but never following through. Things will eventually bounce our way.

06/10/2018 - 1:19pm I’d go with something…

I’d go with something shorter, like Dasgupta’s book (I have it but haven’t read it yet). Being good with your eecs 203 (discrete math) should help too.

source: current phd student in theoretical computer science/eecs. I didn’t major in CS so I’ve never take a true algorithms course despite having two research papers on algorithms.

06/07/2018 - 12:23pm Maybe James Franklin and Jim…

Maybe James Franklin and Jim Harbaugh attract different people. Just maybe. (Not saying one is better than a the other.)

06/07/2018 - 11:15am It’s probably more about fit…

It’s probably more about fit than anything else. PSU is a better fit for the kid. Get over it.

06/03/2018 - 1:30pm Peters should graduate this year.

Then he could grad transfer with two years.

05/28/2018 - 12:23am This team is more talented.

Hands down. Just look at each position group (maybe 2016 had a deeper d-line and Peppers was generational at viper, but the balance leans towards 2018).

The coaching difference is what I’m looking at the most. Can they pull together a good oline? Will the special teams be good (2016 was great)? Will they be able to put together good offensive game plans? I think the 2016 schedule was actually pretty hard.

We’ll know they’re elite if they’re blowing out teams like in 2016. That’s the sign.

05/22/2018 - 10:41pm Debate champion

Right here ;)

05/22/2018 - 5:15pm Is he?

I don’t see it. I see a better version of Ty Isaac. There aren’t many broken tackles or elusive plays on his tape... He’ll probably be really good, but idk about special.

05/22/2018 - 4:53pm I thought Emery

looked as good if not better than Crouch. Hopefully LSU has a meh season.

05/19/2018 - 2:08pm What made OSU

A toxic environment?

I felt like he never stood a chance since he wasn’t as highly as rated as the other QBs.

05/13/2018 - 11:33pm He started

at LT last year for them as a second-year player.

05/13/2018 - 12:46pm Also

Considering how many wide open guys were missed or not seen at all last year...

05/09/2018 - 10:56pm Cool.

We can always recruit him once Orgeron gets fired.

05/09/2018 - 1:50pm You,

Like most college football fans, are greatly underestimating the randomness in college football. It’s easy to overlook when the you’re on the winning end of a few close plays. Like a gambler, you’ll rationalize on why your team got those plays.

05/08/2018 - 2:38pm Their offense was

consistently one of the most efficient offenses in the country with him. He entire offense is predicated on the qb run. I think their “struggles” were more to do with bad coordinators.

05/08/2018 - 2:08pm Somebody mentioned

This when O’Korn shined against Purdue. Often new QBs do well when inserted mid game mid game since the defense has no idea what they’re like. Also, some of his long plays were lucky (the td run, a long throw covered well, etc.).

05/08/2018 - 1:36pm Wasn’t he

By far their best qb in the spring game?

04/25/2018 - 5:29pm OSU

Didn’t outcoach Michigan the past two games.

The gap isn’t nearly as large as it is in fans’ heads.

04/20/2018 - 1:30pm Why the hell

Is Wisconsin our protected crossover instead of Minnesota?

04/07/2018 - 11:10pm Confidence and

Narcissism. Know the difference my friend.

Part of narcissism is not realizing how bad you are when your skills are insufficient. O’Korn has no idea of his own abilities.

04/07/2018 - 7:26pm I thought Speight was likable.

O'Korn on the other hand seemed like a raging narcissist. He flat out told Herbstreit he was better than Speight. Who tells a reprter that they are better than their teammate?

Edit: I'm only three epsidodes in.

03/31/2018 - 4:10pm You seriously underestimate

the situation. These schools are all about saving face. The only reason Ole Miss got burned was that they rubbed some the wrong way, NOT because they broke NCAA rules.

03/27/2018 - 10:28am Is Tarik Black

Healthy and practicing? The kid’s a boss.

03/23/2018 - 6:57pm I always said

O’Korn has no idea how bad he is.

03/16/2018 - 9:50am Is

Al Washington recruiting him too?

03/15/2018 - 9:45pm Momentum shift.

Seemed to be favoring ND previously.

02/27/2018 - 4:09pm Sources?

Fishaw was mistaken in his tweet.

02/19/2018 - 4:42pm They underachieved

Last year. That roster was much more experienced than Michigan’s. Plus, have you seen Bruce Love play?

advanced stats say Michigan was better.

02/19/2018 - 12:45pm All you

Clowns blaming the record last year and “trajectory” need to look at Stanford’s 2017 record.

It’s probably academics related, not football.

02/16/2018 - 12:14am The interior

oline and run-game greatly improved throughout the season. The tackles were horrible, but that’s more to do with injury (Frey was OT coach too). Also, Ed Warinner is technically on the staff.

I think we should sit back and chill out on Drevno. The passing game was pretty whack, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Hamilton got a demotion to QB coach for the year too. The run game turned out okay.

02/13/2018 - 9:18pm There's

an article on the front page of ESPN about the letter. "We stand by our reporting."-ESPN

The lack of awareness is pretty insane. They only care about protecting their prized coaches instead of fixing the trash culture.

Keep in mind the unknown unknowns. Considering that many sexual assaults are not reported, and that victims were regulary coerced into not pressing charges, makes the number of 16 sexual assaults a probable underestimate. This is why "inoccent until proven guilty" in this context doesn't make sense with already such a large number. You don't need 16 convictions to question MSU's coverup culture.

02/13/2018 - 7:16pm Well yeah.

Twitter says we only got walkons. Do you want to hear an hour podcast about 20 gritty special teams players?

02/07/2018 - 1:22pm I know

We’re all salty over NPF, but this may be good news.

His defense was torched by Iowa and we were in a position to win with O’Korn.

02/07/2018 - 11:09am Shit luck

Adds up. The injuries this year, not beating OSU in 2016, etc.

Getting Anderson can alleviate a lot of the recruiting angst.
