The first 3 minutes looked like the CJ Baird show.  The D being played in that game looked...   terrible.  Still fun to see JP looking good off the dribble!

Thanks for the link. Looking at the list of who is above us and who is below us, we seem to be right where we belong.  Some of the quarterback rooms rated nearby us are also being rated by potential with unproven players.  Shea Patterson has the skill set to help offset some of our deficiencies in the tackle position.  If he truly is a first round pick, as this site and many others predict, this team is going to be a juggernaut.

06/19/2018 - 8:12pm Maybe it was a poor use of…

Maybe it was a poor use of the euphemism. Ohio is a barren and unsightly state; rough to the eye. It has some diamonds that can be found and polished for display in Ann Arbor. That is where I was coming from.

06/19/2018 - 6:40pm  Recruiting from Ohio has…

Recruiting from Ohio has become an emphasis. Harbaugh even said on a podcast a couple of weeks ago that they want to target more recruits from the Midwest.   Let’s keep mining for those diamonds in the rough of Ohio. Those guys love to beat Ohio State more than anyone.

06/19/2018 - 3:53pm  I have to say that I am in…

I have to say that I am in the enamored with the review process in the World Cup. They do this so quickly and so decisively. Why cannot we replicate this review efficiency in American sports like football and basketball?

06/19/2018 - 3:33pm  I love this kind of stuff…

I love this kind of stuff. We are undefeated, and we get better every week this time of year. I am not being facetious, I actually revel in the anticipation of the season with each speculative article that paints Michigan in a positive light. The possibilities of success are endless. Shea for Heisman?  I have no inkling that this could actually happen, but I still love it.

06/19/2018 - 5:27am Great players make great…

Great players make great teams. Devin Bush and Rashan Gary will be our top 50 guys.  I believe that David Long is being massively under appreciated.  Skill combos of Gentry and McKeon, Evans and Higdon, DPJ and Black will not on this top 100, but I want them on my team.  (I know, I know, no O lineman crack the top 100 list.) Why not win big this year?  I continue to think that we will.

06/19/2018 - 4:55am RJ is a top 247 DT from…

RJ is a top 247 DT from Columbus, OH.  This would be a big get for obvious reasons. I am glad that recruiting D lineman continues to be a strength for this staff.

06/18/2018 - 8:22am Fretting about unlikely…

Fretting about unlikely scenarios like this in June is probably not the healthiest way to spend time. While I acknowledge there is not a whole lot of UM content to discuss this time of year, trying to devise a way to get into the playoff without beating Ohio State is a fruitless and frankly pathetic endeavor. Beat OSU.

Happy father’s day to the dads! The importance of your role in your children’s lives cannot be over emphasized. Keep working hard and enjoy your children!

06/16/2018 - 9:39pm  Definitely a bummer. Of…

Definitely a bummer. Of course, I wish the kid the best. However, I do question the judgment of a kid who declines the opportunity to play viper for Don Brown and travel the world for free at a world class institution near his hometown.

06/11/2018 - 8:06pm We would only see him once,…

We would only see him once, in 2021 @ home, if he stays that long.  Good for the conference, and good for us.  Hopefully he can beat our rivals to drive down east standings a couple of times.

06/09/2018 - 2:00pm…

First link not good, try this one.  3.0, exposes my ineptitude to the power of 3.  And yes, it is all his work.  I can't even make a good hyperlink.

3.0, 3 times the banging potential!

It was never in doubt (says the arrogant liar hiding within me)

06/06/2018 - 1:53pm Pet theory ---> confirmed

Pet theory ---> confirmed

Welcome back Coach B.  We always knew you were the best, but you have only enhanced our appreciation of you.

06/06/2018 - 12:00pm This is very disconcerting…

This is very disconcerting. It feels like this truly is a make or break year for recruiting and the direction of the program.

06/06/2018 - 8:24am My pet theory:

Coach B was…

My pet theory:

Coach B was initially flattered and also had some sincere interest.  He also wanted to be conscientious and use this as a learning opportunity (i.e. Matthews and Wagner with the early entry NBA information gathering without an agent).  When things went public, he realized the optics could change on him dramatically.  Thus, he speaks to Brad Stevens and gets this quote:

“He’s done an incredible job. No doubt, he’s one of the best coaches at any level in the world.  Like anybody else, if he makes the move to the NBA, it’s not about how good a coach he is; it’s about how supported he is.”

Now he can say that the (arguably) current best coach in the world considers him to be one of the best coaches in the world. He could have taken the Detroit job, but he was not going to get the support that Brad Steven got at Boston. That black and white quote will be gold for him with recruiting and can serve as an excellent rebuttal against negative hurting against him regarding the NBA stuff.

06/05/2018 - 8:41pm Cheers and looking forward…

Cheers and looking forward to enjoying 3.0 (spent many moments in the last 24 hrs in a confused time machine circa Dec. 2004)

06/04/2018 - 9:51am Talent coming out of our ears

Absolutely everything is clicking with our basketball program...  let's desperately hope that Beilein sees the light and stays.

06/02/2018 - 10:11am Lewerke may be a good candidate for the Theismann trophy

06/01/2018 - 12:05pm Yeah, no

QBs need to be good to win the Heisman.

06/01/2018 - 7:33am A great week deserves a great Friday

Enjoy all!

06/01/2018 - 12:05am Maybe

But they are playing against other players from today with the same access.  To insinuate that PED's may be LBJ's secret sauce is weak, and to pretend like he does it in a vacuum is even worse.

05/31/2018 - 11:45pm Saw Jordan in his prime

I don’t know how to compare these two. They are both in consideration for the best of all time. There is some recency bias with what James is doing this year, but what he has done in his career and his complete game is definitely worth the argument.

05/31/2018 - 11:43pm Entertainment

Seriously, washing these playoffs, are you not entertained?!

05/31/2018 - 11:42pm Steve Nash

Walking out of the gym before the game is over. Does not want his kids to see just what a terrible person someone can be in victory.

05/31/2018 - 11:41pm Green starting fights

With an eight point lead and only two seconds left in the game.

05/31/2018 - 11:40pm Warriors

Lots to complain about, but in the end, tip the cap to the superior team

05/31/2018 - 11:37pm Yes

But no one can take away that shirtless summer after his championship two years ago

05/31/2018 - 11:35pm At least

At least that would get him to the fourth overtime where the Cavs would still manage to lose.

05/31/2018 - 11:32pm Lol

05/31/2018 - 11:31pm Amen

Glad someone else is still talking about that reffing travesty.

05/31/2018 - 11:28pm LBJ

He might need to score 60 to win game one. 49 just enough for OT

05/31/2018 - 11:28pm JR Smith

Incredible lack of awareness on that offensive rebound

05/31/2018 - 11:22pm Never mind

Call overruled even though the on-air analyst agrees with call on the floor.

05/31/2018 - 11:20pm Hoping so

LBJ gets the charge on Durant with

05/31/2018 - 11:19pm Saw it

And agree. Why people want to judge a player for going to a team to give them a better chance at a championship rarely sees this to that for the mind of a rational fan. Anyone who argues that Durrant did not earn that championship last year is probably ignorant, or worse.

05/31/2018 - 10:06pm Dirty draymond

Talk about a player who embodies everything Michigan State athletics stands for. Dirty, disingenuous, low character, low integrity, win at all costs, hate Michigan more than you love yourself.

05/31/2018 - 9:57pm LBJ

8/9 thus far. Amazing. I never thought Cleveland would stand a chance in this series, and I still don’t. But he is making me think right now.

05/31/2018 - 12:15pm 2nd in the country

Unacceptable to HT! Top 8 is OK, but he will not accept number two, he cannot accept number two. Michigan basketball team take note, he will not accept it.

05/30/2018 - 8:10pm exactly

<Nail on the head gif>

05/30/2018 - 7:50pm I like your confidence

6’7” guy without elite athleticism who struggles making threes —-> early entry NBA ready player: that is only something a Michigan fan could realistically expect to happen. And, amazingly most of us do! (not me in this particular example)

05/30/2018 - 6:56pm Good get

He looks like a 4 year player.   I love what I am hearing about his well-rounded offensive skill set.  Tall ball-handlers that can shoot and pass are very valuable in modern bball.  He may be pretty ideal for Beilein as he can develop him and make him a force in his junior and senior years.  It is almost good that he is not the elite athlete type so that he will not be going pro after 2 years in AA.  Welcome Jalen!

05/30/2018 - 6:20pm Jalen and Charles

Thank you for choosing Michigan!

05/30/2018 - 5:12pm Timeline

1. Charles Matthews reportedly going to stay in the draft

2. Nick Ward announces intentions to return to MSU

3. Charles Matthews officially announces his return to Michigan

( insert smiling Charles Matthews photo here)

05/30/2018 - 5:07pm We all know this was a long deliberation...

Nick Ward's announcement to return to MSU was the obvious deciding factor.  So glad to have such a fantastic player coming back! (us not them)

05/30/2018 - 1:05pm he has a huge vertical leap

His athleticism is grossly under-appreciated.

05/30/2018 - 11:34am I wrested a guy in junior high school

I wrestled a guy in junior high school who looked like a carbon copy of David DeTarr.  There must be no relation, becase I beat this guy, and any relative to the first touchdown scorer in Michian football history would wrestle with far more tenacity.

Correction:  DeTarr was the kicker, I rescind my earlier statement.

05/29/2018 - 6:36pm This is my not scared look.
