Great tweet to summarize the season
Take a deep breath and soak it all in for a while, boys.
We should also ad:
- Program record for most rushing TDs in a season (20, Haskins)
- Five All-B1G First Teamers (Haskins, Hutch, O-JA-BO, Dax, and Stueber)
Best season in almost a quarter-century. Anything else to ad?

I would add 42-27
January 11th, 2022 at 11:10 AM ^
Don't you know?
January 11th, 2022 at 11:14 AM ^
Pump it up?
January 11th, 2022 at 11:25 AM ^
Honestly... you've got to..
January 11th, 2022 at 1:00 PM ^
Pump it up.
January 11th, 2022 at 11:10 AM ^
The force is strong with this one.
January 11th, 2022 at 11:11 AM ^
It should lead with that :)
January 11th, 2022 at 11:16 AM ^
Crazy to suggest, but that win might be underappreciated by some. It's way more impressive than the last two (2011, 2003) and -- when the talent difference is considered -- arguably more impressive than the mid-'90s wins.
January 11th, 2022 at 11:46 AM ^
It’s about matchups , not talent across the board.
We were a terrible matchup for soft OSU defense, and our new defensive schemes ensured that despite OSU’s incredible passing game and receivers, they had to earn every yard. Game wasn’t even as close as the score. They won the turnover battle and had a bunch of high leverage 4the down conversations to stay in the game. This UM team was built to beat OSU…styles make fights.
UGA on the other hand was like playing ourselves on steroids. Same type of team, just bigger, faster and stronger.
January 11th, 2022 at 12:38 PM ^
This UM team was built to beat OSU
Let's do this every year!
All kidding aside, with Bo, Mo, and Lloyd, every practice had plays designed to beat Ohio. Feels like that's been missing for, oh, 20 years.
January 11th, 2022 at 12:19 PM ^
The grandest achievement.
January 11th, 2022 at 12:52 PM ^
You now have 42 upvotes. Pete, you are a marvel.
But i still have to ask, how do you add 42-27?
January 11th, 2022 at 12:58 PM ^
15. Duh.
We beat them by 15 ass-kicking points.
January 11th, 2022 at 1:30 PM ^
42 and 27 equal 69. And we also pulled a rabbit out of a hat in '69 as well. Correlation surrounding that game and this one, I think so.
Sometimes the universe knocks people off their pedestal, and Pump It Up when it's tOSU!
January 11th, 2022 at 12:55 PM ^
People forget that…
January 11th, 2022 at 11:13 AM ^
A great season. Thanks for posting the summary.
Go, Blue!
January 11th, 2022 at 11:14 AM ^
Dont you know? Pump it up!
January 11th, 2022 at 11:16 AM ^
I would ad the letter "d" to make add.
January 11th, 2022 at 11:18 AM ^
Maybe I'm just efficient. Or maybe I'm a dumbass.
January 11th, 2022 at 12:09 PM ^
A ddumbass?
January 11th, 2022 at 11:19 AM ^
Ya beat me to it. Dang!
January 11th, 2022 at 12:53 PM ^
Double-D's are overhyped in my opinion. D is plenty. C is also enough.
January 11th, 2022 at 11:19 AM ^
And lost in the playoff to the eventual National Champion...
January 11th, 2022 at 11:25 AM ^
Gotta gotta be down because I want it all
January 11th, 2022 at 11:34 AM ^
all great, but the saddest part is #3 is our ceiling until shit changes at the very top of the recruiting world.
January 11th, 2022 at 11:57 AM ^
Our #3 ceiling was the Big Ten East until this season.
January 11th, 2022 at 12:43 PM ^
JFC. Enjoy the moment.

I heard that one time you were offered a bar of gold but gave it back after holding it because you said it was too heavy.
January 11th, 2022 at 5:59 PM ^
This is such a "you must be fun at parties" type of post.
Good lord, enjoy some things man.
January 11th, 2022 at 11:44 AM ^
All of this accomplished against the significant headwinds of pre-season expectations.
It was a very satisfying campaign.
January 11th, 2022 at 11:50 AM ^
And add Hutchinson set new sack season record.
January 11th, 2022 at 11:56 AM ^
We JUMPED AROUND!
January 11th, 2022 at 11:58 AM ^
As important we got the “JH with fire back”! To me when he has that edge, it brings everybody up. Future is bright ?
January 11th, 2022 at 11:59 AM ^
Blue Pants FTW!
January 11th, 2022 at 12:18 PM ^
Wild to think that, even if we don't get screwed in EL and come out with a win in that game, we don't win any of those awards if we had lost to OSU. That OSU game has to be up there with the '69 game as the most important win in the history of the entire football program...
Now we get to wait and see if that was a one-off or, as Harbaugh thinks, the start of something...
January 11th, 2022 at 12:24 PM ^
Yes, let's not be Auburn, who can't ever sustain it.
January 11th, 2022 at 12:27 PM ^
I try not to dwell on the fact that if we don't get screwed in EL, we're the #1 seed in the CFP and probably get Cincy in the semis :-/
January 11th, 2022 at 12:28 PM ^
I learned each and every word to Mr. Brightside.
January 11th, 2022 at 12:33 PM ^
Needs 42-27 and O-JA-BO
January 11th, 2022 at 12:40 PM ^
Beating Ohio was the biggest milestone of all, IMHO. We desperately needed to get that monkey off our backs. Before this season, the last time we beat a ranked Ohio State team, "Facebook" was something incoming grad students received at orientation and "Twitter" was something hummingbirds did.
January 11th, 2022 at 1:01 PM ^
The folding chairs, baby!
(I'm still not sure what that was about.)
January 11th, 2022 at 1:04 PM ^
Great year - the only regular season loss was a ref-induced loss in Least Lansing.
Will love watching the You Tubes of Washington night game, OSU in the snow, and Iowa for years to come.
Let's add some more trophies!
January 11th, 2022 at 1:18 PM ^
Lol wrong thread!
January 11th, 2022 at 1:56 PM ^
Also aren't there two consensus all americans?
January 12th, 2022 at 5:33 AM ^
And the award the tweet references is the Nagurski-WOODSON award. As in Charles.
(otherwise not worth correcting)

Beat OSU should be listed first in the OP!!
EDITED: It's in the first comment -- I should have looked there first!!
