12/06/2018 - 12:20pm No offense to OP, but this…

No offense to OP, but this kind of clickbait is so obnoxious. (Not yours, the original article). Take a single, likely joking tweet, spin out a couple hundred words that add nothing, and post it as a "story". Hate hate hate.

12/05/2018 - 9:19am Yep. That definitely looks…

Yep. That definitely looks like a guy who hates his job and wants to leave.

12/05/2018 - 7:40am Fine line between passion…

Fine line between passion and psychosis

12/05/2018 - 7:37am Eh. Maybe I buy this on…

Eh. Maybe I buy this on defense (maybe) but this completely ignores the impact Teske has on offense even without touching the ball, and how Davis completely failed to have any sort of similar impact. He’s a complete non-entity offensively thereby making the other 4 bear more of the burden. And this team isn’t built to create good looks without the C being heavily involved.

I echo the hopes that Johns is able to come along quickly over the next 6 weeks.

12/05/2018 - 6:36am Agreed. I’m hoping Brandon…

Agreed. I’m hoping Brandon Johns comes along and can take some of those minutes later in the year.

I know they scored on your mom repeatedly

12/03/2018 - 12:33pm I look forward to knocking…

I look forward to knocking more B1G teams down or off this list this year.

12/03/2018 - 12:22pm Kenpom ranks of our next 9…

Kenpom ranks of our next 9 opponents

@NW-46

SC-85

WMU-234

Air Force-242

Binghamton-305

PSU-39

IU-26

@Illini-93

NW-46

Apart from this weekend, there are no difficult road tests. And perhaps most importantly, the only decent offensive team on this list is Indiana. The rest are ranked 77 or worse on Kenpom for AdjO. Since defense travels and is more consistent typically, I like the team's chances in every game. I also set the O/U on number of these teams to crack 60 points at 1.5.

11/30/2018 - 9:53am Yeah, all of ESPN's…

Yeah, all of ESPN's fancystats are terrible. I'm convinced they do it on purpose so the Mike Golics of the world can rail against them and how nerds are ruining sports.

11/28/2018 - 2:58pm The nice thing about that…

The nice thing about that list is that it lacks experience but it's not a particularly young group. All of the starters are juniors or seniors by age.

I think replacing Bush is going to be the hardest thing to do for the defense. The D line will be truly young, but also (pending the recruiting finish) should have an immense amount of talent.

11/27/2018 - 2:33pm Sterling Manley, Leaky Black…

Sterling Manley, Leaky Black, Seventh Woods.

That is an all-time all-name bench.

11/26/2018 - 1:41pm Yep. That’s the part that…

Yep. That’s the part that gets me (aside from all that was at stake and subsequently lost). The MSU blocked punt game felt bad, but this is way worse, because there just are no answers apart from “they’re just still a way better program”

11/26/2018 - 1:38pm Thanks for doing this, esp…

Thanks for doing this, esp since it seems like Brian won’t (again).

Makes me me feel a bit better, but I keep coming back to the complete lack of DL pressure. If anyone had said before the game that not a single DL would lay their hands on Haskins the entire game, would you still have expected a win?

11/21/2018 - 11:59am Your (take is) hawt.

Your (take is) hawt.

11/20/2018 - 10:11am Indeed, but I'm just as…

Indeed, but I'm just as encouraged by the offensive split in competitive games. In games that matter and where the outcome isn't a given, the offense always finishes strong too. It's such a nice feeling and quite a contrast from many previous years.

11/19/2018 - 4:16pm It seems like there were at…

It seems like there were at least a few people in the AD who didn’t like the way things were handled. If him leaving has indeed already been decided, I’d bet most in the AD know, and it only takes one person to leak.

11/19/2018 - 1:33pm My favorite part of the…

My favorite part of the simulation:

OSU won by >20 points 7.7% of the time, while Michigan won by >20 points 22.5% of the time.

I think we’re going to see a cavalcade today. Evans, Wilson, Samuels, and Turner could all get double digit carries.

Seconded, especially 'cause the youngins aren't even going to know who Zook is pretty soon.

11/01/2018 - 7:56am This is an excellent and…

This is an excellent and well-supported take, and I really appreciate Klatt, but that gravy metaphor makes no damn sense.

10/31/2018 - 3:56pm To be fair to warm weather…

To be fair to warm weather schools that either don’t play or suck at hockey, should probably add baseball

10/30/2018 - 8:58pm It’s not, only because every…

It’s not, only because every single one of us saw a penis when we looked at it.

10/30/2018 - 11:19am This isn't even a question…

This isn't even a question IMO. A one loss Bama is 100% still getting in, so we want them to win out and eliminate a few other teams in the process.

10/29/2018 - 9:39am Missed hearing your voice…

Missed hearing your voice Ace. Enjoy your boy Poole this season!

10/28/2018 - 10:14am Except another loss to…

Except another loss to anyone takes them out of playoff contention, so they won’t be overlooking anyone.

10/27/2018 - 9:44am So who should we be rooting…

So who should we be rooting for in that game? Does it not matter since both will lose to Bama anyway?

10/26/2018 - 5:23pm That’s fine in theory…

That’s fine in theory. Problem is his criticism makes no damn sense.

10/25/2018 - 4:30pm What's funny is even in that…

What's funny is even in that 2013 UM-MSU game, Hoke's "offense" gained 74 more yards than MSU did last Saturday.

10/25/2018 - 1:58pm A fun statistical anomaly…

A fun statistical anomaly would be if a team suffers a single phase Rutger but still wins. I bet it happens to the service academies all the time.

10/24/2018 - 11:14am That's false. Bosa is hurt…

That's false. Bosa is hurt and the best case scenario would be for him to be back for a hypothetical B1G championship game, or maybe not until the bowl game. He's basically saying instead of pushing to get back for a game or three, he's going to transition to prepping for the pros.

The big scandal in the Bosa situation isn't that he's done playing, it's that he's done with OSU entirely. The team, the school, the coaches, everything. That's quite a statement to make IMO.

10/24/2018 - 9:47am The NY sports media is…

The NY sports media is absolutely crushing the Giants right now, first for the Eli Apple trade yesterday, then for this one today.

This doesn't apply to Harrison, but apparently only 3 of the last 10 Giants 1st round picks are still with the team.

10/24/2018 - 7:19am He’s right, game time…

He’s right, game time matters, but having been to a night game there (Nebraska, a couple years ago), the Rutger fans are both sparse and tame as a rule. There will likely be more UM fans there and assuming y’all are dressed in M gear you’ll feel right at home.

10/23/2018 - 3:35pm Here’s a hot take:

I think…

Here’s a hot take:

I think McCaffery will be a more effective QB by next year anyway so I’m fine with Shea leaving.

10/19/2018 - 1:01pm I mean, both run defenses…

I mean, both run defenses are excellent, but they also suck at running, and our QB has a stronger arm.

10/18/2018 - 8:21pm "I tend to have a problem…

"I tend to have a problem with most of the people that post here" should be the new banner motto.

10/17/2018 - 9:39am Looks to my untrained eye…

Looks to my untrained eye like the blocking issue is as much about enthusiasm as it is about ability. Clearly he's not strong yet but he could probably be a capable blocker if he wanted to be. He just looks completely disinterested. I'm sure that'll get fixed soon enough in Ann Arbor.

10/16/2018 - 6:17pm Just think what might’ve…

Just think what might’ve happened if you spent 2 hours on it.

10/16/2018 - 2:57pm Fuck this shit.

Calling it…

Fuck this shit.

Calling it now. Michigan beats the spread this game, wins by double digits.

10/14/2018 - 7:34am Sure, but they also put him…

Sure, but they also put him in in the first quarter and had him run. It didn't work and didn't really make sense.

10/11/2018 - 1:19pm Seems like UWs super slow…

Seems like UWs super slow pace will help the DTs not wear down too much.

10/10/2018 - 8:00am This feels like a monopoly…

This feels like a monopoly. We should probably get the government to look into it.

10/08/2018 - 10:56pm Pretty much always, in fact…

Pretty much always, in fact. The lack of that is the thing I appreciate most about Belein.

10/08/2018 - 10:09pm I remember vividly when Tom…

I remember vividly when Tom VH left and Brian posted the job opening. I was a bit skeptical when he hired a dude named Ace. “No way this guy is going to be legit.” How wrong I was.

Ace, your gif game was spectacular, but I’m going to miss your basketball writing the most, as well as your banter with Brian on the podcast. I hope you find answers and full healing. All the best.

10/02/2018 - 12:26pm These questions are so…

These questions are so consistently bad, it makes me angry. I don't know that much about football. Seth's Neck Sharpies always give me a headache. And I could still ask better questions than every single one of these reporters.

09/26/2018 - 8:01am I hate to tell you this, but…

I hate to tell you this, but you almost never see 8 all-American/all-conference quality players on a single team on a single side of the ball.

The good news is they don’t have to be that good for this offense to still be excellent.

09/25/2018 - 1:27pm Almost definitely involves…

Almost definitely involves an impermissible benefit. Better get the NCAA on it.

09/25/2018 - 1:25pm “You’re tearing me apart,…

“You’re tearing me apart, Shea!”

—Zach Gentry, probably.
