I enjoy the round-table every week. Is is just me or is that segment getting shorter and shorter, particularly in actual content?

Ira does a great job as a producer and a decent job hosting. My only criticism is that he seems so eager to be the main guy that we end up not hearing from the guests a whole lot, particularly on this segment.

I would love to take my son since my dad is overseas. We’ve been singing the victors on the way to and from school/ daycare to get ready for the season #GoBlue

08/16/2018 - 9:54am I like the show just for…

I like the show just for Michigan content, often even beyond football but for MGoBlog round table I want to listen to Brian and the guys not as much Ira or Sam for that matter.

Listening to MGoBlog round table... I’ve heard it before but will Ira let the guys talk or is this just him today? Ugh

08/16/2018 - 8:54am I don’t envision us getting…

I don’t envision us getting a ton of pressure, I’d imagine ND will want to get quick passes out to avoid it similar to what other teams did to us last year. It’s the coverage on the slot that worries me most.

I May be completely off base but that’s where I feel our weakness may still be on Defense... that and time on the field. Hoping for a reliable and consistent  Run game

This is a great point. It did seem to impact him profoundly.

Jack did mention in one of the AttackEachDay podcast episodes he felt the sideline rule played a big role in his demeanor change as Jim didn’t want to negatively impact the team.

either way, we want firey Jim back (insert hat throwing GIF from Fowling in Detroiters)

Coach’s yell at the end when the other team knocks off their last pin has me rolling. So good

Can we add a “blocking TE” in Filiaga? Higdon May get his 1,000yards in the OOC schedule alone.

But how’s your internet bill? I wanted to switch from Xfinity Comcast to YT TV but my internet was going to increase to a level that made the costs essentially the same.

08/06/2018 - 8:31am I honestly don’t care. If…

I honestly don’t care. If they have a good coach they will always recruit well.

I’m concerned about the issue of domestic violence being swept under the rug, on the heels of Brenda Tracy being on their campus.

08/05/2018 - 8:25am He stays. Some other school…

He stays. Some other school is bound to have issues during camp and the media will move on. Once that pressure is off he’ll be playing the forgiveness card. They’ll rally behind him as if he’s some hero and be strong as ever.

08/03/2018 - 7:05pm OSU will get a 2 for 1 deal…

OSU will get a 2 for 1 deal on getting away with school scandals all at once.

Meyer misspoke and r reported it all so he’s a saint and nothing to see here all while the Wrestling scandal was going on and no one is talking about it. News cycle moves along and both get swept under the rug.

08/03/2018 - 7:00pm Yes, but what exactly will…

Yes, but what exactly will happen? What are the consequences to the school? NCAA surely isn’t going to come close to this, Jim delaney even less, no criminal charges so it’s just a matter of time before news cycle moves on to being outraged over chicken and satellite camps talk. Oh and how creepy Harbaugh is for a sleepover. DV enablers be damned, they win games so it’s all good.

Last week when he said he didn’t know, he just meant to say he did know. Simple mistake.

08/02/2018 - 7:29am Because if they knew and…

Because if they knew and didn’t report it at the school it’s a title 9 violation. Know how we often ask, how could this go on for so long without anyone knowing? If they reported it like they were supposed to, ZS would have been fired, so a DV scumbag wouldn’t have been allowed at the school.

I didn't notice that, so thank you.

08/01/2018 - 2:37pm just came across this

just came across this

Rolling Stone article claims Urban Meyer might have covered up an Aaron Hernandez drive-by shooting

In college his coach (then-University of Florida head coach Urban Meyer) may have helped cover up failed drug tests, along with two violent incidents — an assault and a drive-by shootout outside a local bar.

08/01/2018 - 1:29pm I get your points BUT,…

I get your points BUT, college coaches are also molding teenagers into men and the topic of domestic abuse Is surely one being discussed at length. If the coach has a past (in whichever form), it would be wise to discuss with his new employer so when it’s brought up they are ahead of it. “Don’t turn a 1 day story into a 2 day story”

08/01/2018 - 1:14pm Get the story straight right…

Get the story straight right now and be ready to answer the questions. Also be ready to hold him accountable.

Somehow this will be turned on us not on OSU.

IF and only if that was during the game and the good guys beat them.  otherwise, all good - nothing to see here.

08/01/2018 - 12:14pm Zero chance Urban gets fired…

Zero chance Urban gets fired. Now if you say The school president will fire himself instead, that’s more plausible.

07/26/2018 - 10:26pm Yeah but it doesn’t pay off,…

Yeah but it doesn’t pay off, at least not in my experience. We had comcast tv and internet for about $120, turned tv off and tried YouTubeTV for a month ( free trial), only to see concast jack up our internet price to $90, add to it the $35 monthly subscription to YOuTubeTV and it was going to be more expensive for less channels. I have two kids and the Xfinity on demand selection is great I have to admit.their customer service can improve  but same can be said for all other tv/internet providers.

07/16/2018 - 10:29am listened to AAFC on the…

listened to AAFC on the Michigan Insider this morning with Sam and they brought up one of them many items that should be addressed to increase competitiveness in the sport - different levels with relegation and promotion taking place every year. It's counter to the structure of all other major leagues in the US but I see it as being beneficial to help with growth of the sport. To put things in perspective, Portugal is a country very comparable to the State of Michigan (population about 10million).

The main league in Portugal has 18 teams, eighteen! And yes, most of them average 5-10k people in the stands per game. And that is just the first division, most countries have 2 professional divisions and 2-3 of amateur teams below that.

Soccer will never be #1 in USA as it is in other countries around the world, and that is just fine but the potential to grow is still tremendous, just imagine a top division with 20-24 teams, and a secondary "feeder" division with another 20 or so teams.

As for the cost... in other countries, there are no travel teams, it's either a group of friends playing in local leagues or it's club based soccer (where the top players are being developed) very similar to a minor league system. Example here - https://www.slbenfica.pt/en-us/futebol/formacao - Benfica has u13 u15, u17 and u19 programs.

ok... that was a long post

07/11/2018 - 7:59am read somewhere this transfer…

read somewhere this transfer will cost Juventus a whopping 390million! ($110mil transfer + $35mil/year for 4years + equal amount of salary paid in taxes  (can you imagine this happening in the US?? ) so CR7 is costing Juve 97.5mill/year. Insanity!

07/11/2018 - 7:25am unless they're converting…

unless they're converting the Bernabeu in to a swimming pool I really don't see how Neymar will improve that roster. now MBappe... will they offer PSG 250+mill?

With Spanish taxes being what they are and how aggressive they are with top players I wonder if that will impact future big star signings. My guess is RM and Barca will overpay Yankees-style.

07/10/2018 - 6:57am Coach seems so much more…

Coach seems so much more relaxed and dare I say relatable? Great interview.

Now someone get coach his convertible.

06/28/2018 - 9:47am both teams will play…

both teams will play reserves, let them go for the win and carry momentum. All it takes is one surprise win early in the knockout rounds and it could shift the conversation altogether. Look at what Portugal did in Euro2016

I'd be down for donating to an app also but frankly if the new site performs better come game day threads then I'll be fine. Now can we get back to more recruiting and Chris Webber? Never heard Sam Webb so excited on the radio

I cant stand Neymar. Plenty other players dive and flop and cry (which drives me insane) but Neymar is an absolute disgrace to the game. This PK is a great example. He rather go for the foul (PK) instead of taking the shot. I'm glad VAR called the PK back.

06/22/2018 - 9:34am S.American teams have been…

S.American teams have been relatively overrated for a couple years now mainly because Brazil and Argentina will always be viewed as favorites. Argentina has talent (don't let announcers fool you to think otherwise) but the Messi v. National team issues are real and Brazil lacks balance.
