I'm local so I can speak on Nats Park. It was great when it opened. But as the years passed, the food, the service, etc became exhausting. Forcing people to use online ordering when there is no line and then you stand there forever waiting... plus the quality of the food really went away from local to basically Aramark.

Sorry - Egbuka has all the intangibles, but he's soft. We F him up every time, and he tags out. He drops catchable passes under the threat of getting crushed (and then very often we crush him).
They have plenty of weapons... i think as the season goes, folks will be more scared of the other options.
Graham at #2 is a nice thought, but I don't see it. Not because he's not amazing, but we all know that unless he is Suh level... (which I don't know that he is)... QBs and weapons rule the early picks. Also, its impossible to predict these things given the many athletes out there. He also needs to stay healthy.
Two top 5 picks would be crazy - but also... kinda speaks to the level of talent we'll be losing. Hope some guys can wait their turn and LEARN from these guys.
Luka is 25 years old and arguably top 3 in the league. He's made Irving the psycho serviceable. He's coming into his prime and wins with average talent around him.

As a Celtics fan, I'll say that game 4 will tell me a lot. Miami should be put down and out. If they screw around, like they have the past few years and play 6-7 games with this mediocre team with a ton of injuries... Then I expect the same outcome. Miami tried to scrap last night and Boston didn't take the bait. Just kept putting up points
Indiana is a fun team to watch.
Lakers should be done. Denver is a machine.
Philly/NY is the most compelling series I think.
Westbrook, Leonard and George are well past their prime. Only Leonard ever won anything. Harden is also there to make sure they underachieve. Nothing about that team says winner.
Watching jokic and doncic play is like watching JV vs varsity. They're at another level.
And I agree.. Though there have been a bunch of blowouts, the playoffs have been exciting. Round 2 will be great

I also think it's crazy how few of our lineman are the athletes at the next level, despite their dominance in college. Two Penn State guys went before any of ours. And yet psu on offense is a clown show
I'm sure this sucks but it's just become the standard now. Just expect 10-20 players to leave a year. Sucks for the continuance of the product and seeing players develop in your program, but it's where we are.
You didn't want to not lose players. You just want to lose fewer good ones and find better ones out there.

This post seems inflammatory. But there are many wondering why recruiting is at a standstill. I don't think the "new coaches" argument is legit anymore. I do think teams are negatively recruiting us like crazy. Tons of kids have come in and said they loved it but not getting anyone to commit seems like there's some hurdles we're not clearing with the players. Some claimed that there was going to be a big buzz and commit group this past weekend... But that was wrong.
But you're not offering up any information or useful updates. So this is a little whiney with nothing to offer

My biggest concern is week 2. Texas is on a mission with great players everywhere. I'll be curious to see where they have weaknesses we can exploit. I didn't see a ton of guys from them in the draft, so I expect that to be really difficult.
Need time to gel as a new team
If a QB separates by then on our side it'll be nice to see. If game 1 is an audition for a few guys while we pound the rock, I see us losing week 2.
