As a lifelong, but admittedly casual fan of these two sports, Tom Brady is an excellent football player and will do well in the NFL was a far, far more likely outcome than Duncan Robinson is on an NBA team after his first contract.
His success has surprised everyone except Duncan and maybe a certain J.B.
Putting a son on scholarship is exactly what any rich parent would do. Doing the opposite is the behaviour of someone who doesn't value money and wants to waste it. If anything he has shown to be more resourceful with his earnings by the very claim you are making against him...
I'm hoping for a slightly more mobile Ruddock, sans learning curve. I think Sam said that Orji is in the lead, but a nice competition could be healthy and Tuttle could have the consistency to win us all over.
If true, that's a sad turn of events. Hope his family/personal situation is better. Hart is Michigan through and through, so it must have been a tough call.
Is anyone else excited to see how this new defensive staff gels? I was less than optimistic just a week ago, but the department ponied up and pay top dollar for people known to Sherrone / close to the Harbaugh's family coaching tree. I read that as showing them the respect they deserve and having a higher likelihood to stick around for the culture. I imagine the players are also thrilled, and I have to admit that matters most.
I don't find it cluttered due to posts with great details about a WBB game. I think it's cluttered due to a bunch of hot takes and random sites jumping on the bandwagon of the national champions. It'll die down, unless Mgoblog has an uptick in temporary users...which might bring about a slightly new culture this off season.
Keep up the non-revenue sports details OP. That was my intention, to highlight that we need more of these posts and other sources of optimism.
I'm always living in fear of that first loss. I enjoy the highs. This was an amazing season, obviously. I was born watching some great teams and believed we were the best team of all time, so I expect to be able to win every year. Those expectations make watching Michigan football different than say, Indiana (no offense to Hoosier fans, who live the same fandom in Basketball).
I am probably in the minority here, but I tend to watch the game live (or a replay if I cannot) and then I don't tend to rewatch it again. I have never revisited those magical 1997 nor those dramatic letdown 2006, 2016 seasons. I do like to waste all my time on this blog, walking on pins and needles all fall and into winter, and then I let it all go and look for the next season.
I enjoy the change of seasons and I don't look as much into the past. Sorry, Seth...
So far I am 4% of the way through this 4 hours of bliss...
What I have learned is this will be the best off-season in the history of Michigan fandom.
Ok, best Harbaughism (19:40)- Peruvian Priest meets Jim and knows he's Catholic, so asks him if he is a Notre Dame fan? Jim responds, to a PeruvianPriest, "actually I'm in the Notre Dame ass-kicking business."
Wouldn't that be overwhelming for you, lhgr...? At 38 to be responsible for that much, put on you for the first time, in the last possible minute in the midst of the most historical run of football ever played?

Agreed. Tom Brady exceeded all expectations. But he was still an excellent prospect and only a little bit behind Drew Henson in fan's eyes.
Wow did we all get that one wrong.

Indy Pete, you are also all class...well posted.

Can Jace's dad not enter the draft with him?
Yes but Shea was the golf caddy of the NCAA commissioner, so that helped...
He was my dorm neighbor freshman year. He and Jon Shaw. Really the nicest guys. Braylon especially.

Things can…
Once had Ellerbe
The Beilein heights still remain
Rags to riches again
I'll file the TRO on Brian's behalf. It will be approved by tomorrow.
I boycotted them after the UNC cheating scandal resulted in no punishment.
Was that in May 2022, right about when we hired a certain Naval cadet?
Didn't that Quarterback from the national championship game, you know the runner ups, once play for Indiana, too?
Everything about that site feels weird.

Why did you row there?
Hey mate. You been in that tunnel long? Are you all alone?
Warde is more into sitting than leaning.

Wow, I'm glad that the WD void has been filled....and then some.
Are you working with the Japanese now, Putin?
Negbangs please!
We need a new T-shirt design.
"SMASHED!"
Portal, a doorway, gate...especially a large and imposing one.
Exodus, from Greek Exodos, meaning a way out.
Michigan's Spring Portal Exodus = a large an imposing way out for those who stayed to be champions...
I think we should all boycott the season until we fix our athletic department. This is insane...
*wink wink*
So 3-9 is…
Brilliant post.
So 3-9 is happy end of Mork/MSU day?
13-0 is like Neverland, the date- our we can someday close our eyes and follow our wishes and imagine it all over again.

Towel boy?
NIL has always had a negative connotation to me. I doubt that will change anytime soon.
"I'll take National Champions Reloading for 1000".
Brian Ellerbe. I went to most of his games in Ann Arbor. Bring him back
Because "I don't know is on third base"...
You know my right middle finger won't fully close without some sharp pain. Could I attribute that to Warde?
Misplaced BPONE?

They renamed "dead period." They are now called "tampering time."
A lot of people say a lot of things, in the moment.
If 51 is old then call me Miles Davis.
Yes on the Larry Foote idea..yes yes yes.
Go Go Blue.
Without any respect.
S. Moore + Orr > than DS 2.0
