|4 weeks 5 days ago||Yes, totally not NBA||
Yes, totally not NBA ready.... Scouts, come back next year.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Not, but hopefully in time||
Ed Martin made this demon we call Izzo and now we are witnessing his defeat at the hands of Beilein.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||We're missing the obvious||
We're missing the obvious answer here: Moving goal posts.
|8 weeks 2 days ago||Poopin' gold.||
|9 weeks 5 days ago||Six points, man! SIX!! Even||
Six points, man! SIX!! Even if the defense plays well we lose this one 21-6 or so a la the Nebraska or Iowa games.

Also, your oldest son's girlfriend: Woof!
|13 weeks 4 days ago||Well||
A powerful running back in a spread offense is still a spread offense. Hyde might not have gotten 8 yards per carry if M could have committed 8 guys to the box. Having Miller back there and receivers in space made that impossible. It wasn't just Manball.

Fans are looking at this team and seeing regression. I believe that they would accept the youth/transition arguement and be patient if this team was stuggling, but getting better. It is not. Both last year and this, the team has gotten worse over the course of the season.
Do we need to wait for a senior 5-star QB? Devin Gardner. NFL talent on the O-line? Lewan and Schofield. Playmakers at WR? Gallon, Dileo, Funchess. A 1000-yard RB? Toussaint.
I'm sorry, but there is plenty of talent here and this staff is squandering it. How can we trust that future talent will fare any better once we've waited for year 5?
|14 weeks 6 days ago||Maybe if we win the turnover||
Maybe if we win the turnover battle like 3-1 and get a score on defense and they miss an easy field goal... Wait, that happened today.
|14 weeks 6 days ago||Jesus, I hate these coaches||
Jesus, I hate these coaches even more now. Gardner is like an abused spouse blaming himself.
|14 weeks 6 days ago||Exactly! Gardner was a five||
Exactly! Gardner was a five star, elite 11 recruit with obvious physical talent and just look what this staff has turned him into.

"Guys like Saban, Miles, Harbaugh, Meyer etc. are not coming to Michigan."
|14 weeks 6 days ago||I would like to start a||
I would like to start a campaign against the notion that any coaching change would necessarily be painful. Just hire a coach that is ready for a program like Michigan, give him the support he needs, and he will know what to do. Example: Ohio State.
|14 weeks 6 days ago||I think a lot of us were||
I think a lot of us were weary of the Hoke hire, but getting Mattison and then the 2011 season just disarmed our correct reservations. An elite CEO-style coach is already planning his next OC and I doubt Hoke is doing that.
|14 weeks 6 days ago||I respectfully disagree.||
I respectfully disagree. Players drop passes and make little mistakes in every game. The issue is that our scheme only seems to generate handful of good plays per game and when someone drops the ball it a just gets magnified. These mistakes kill drives and turn TDs into FGs. They don't explain 158 total yards of offense.

Every week, every year.
|14 weeks 6 days ago||Maybe we should have someone||
Maybe we should have someone coaching our QBs... I wonder if any other schools do that?
|14 weeks 6 days ago||Michigan is looking up at MSU||
Michigan is looking up at MSU and Iowa right now. Just a few fortunate comebacks away from being 5-6 right now.
|15 weeks 4 days ago||That first line was posted||
That first line was posted before the comeback Saturday night when they assumed we would lose and fire Borges immediately.
|15 weeks 5 days ago||I second that.||
|16 weeks 5 days ago||Good morning, Coach,||
I am incapable of coaching a college football offense. May I also have $250,000?
|16 weeks 5 days ago||Yes, at this point they all||
Yes, at this point they all need to be double-fired!
|16 weeks 6 days ago||Borges' performance might be||
Borges' performance might be worse than Greg Robinson's. Robinson seemed to have very little control over his scheme and position coaches while Borges is in this family and is his own position coach. Not to mention the relatively better talent Borges has had to work with. Robinson was a just-okay coach in an awful position. Borges is in a pretty awesome position, and yet...
|16 weeks 6 days ago||Yeah man, that's just what||
Yeah man, that's just what the Ouiji Board told them to do this week.
|16 weeks 6 days ago||Can we go through a "terrible||
Can we go through a "terrible transition" like Ohio State did? Please?
|16 weeks 6 days ago||Remember when Hoke was trying||
Remember when Hoke was trying to call a TO on the goal line vs Notre Dame and everyone thought it was so cute because we scored despite the coaching. Good thing the coaches have been in control since then.
|16 weeks 6 days ago||They know||
Come on, man. You see the frustration in these players. Those kids know how foolish and futile this offensive "scheme" is (it seems that there are only one-or-two people in existence who don't). They know where the boos are pointed.
|16 weeks 6 days ago||Honestly, there may have been||
Honestly, there may have been more hope for the team back in '08.
|16 weeks 6 days ago||Amen, brother! I for one am||
Amen, brother! I for one am sick of being assumed to worship at the church of Bo. He was a great man, a great long time ago.
|16 weeks 6 days ago||Low point||
I agree that it is a low point in our Michigan fandom, but the boos were entirely warranted and I t was clear to everyone that they were aimed at the play-calling. The coaches are defying the Michigan tradition of actually trying to win football games. It felt like the fans were trying to defend the players from these terrible coaches. It's a shame, but that is just how pig-headed this staff has been.
