2 weeks 6 days ago	First game ...	in the early 1960's .... yikes, and the view of the field has really never changed in all these years (even with the renovation).   I've been to too many to guess ... but in 2011 I did attend every home and away game, which was the first time I had ever done that. Favorite games:   UTL ... love those long tailgates !   /  1991 "The Catch"  -  I was 10th row right along the back end line .... probably no more than 25 yards away !   /   PSU Manningham   and EVERY SINGLE VICTORY over ohio. Go Blue!

Peppers sounds like a very intelligent young man ...	if there's any truth to the David Shaw comment ... then he'll see the Michigan difference immediately.  Coach Hoke and his staff talk about MICHIGAN ... no one else.  Michigan can stand on its own with the scope of its academics and is comparable to anyone ... and it's a public institution.   Keeping it real in the world of "private" colleges ... just doesn't exist ! 3 weeks 3 days ago	Dakich is revered at IU ...	just under "elite star" status.  The decision to have his kid play at Michigan just re-enforces that fact that Crean is an asshat.  That is THE ONLY reason Dakich didn't want his kid to go to IU ... Go Blue!

I'm very excited to see some height moving back to the wide outs.  The big strong split ends with some speed can destroy average secondaries.   It will be up to Devin (for 1 - 2 seasons)  and Shane to get them the ball over the next 4 - 5 years.   Now that's a positive look to the future ! Go Blue!

4 weeks 3 days ago	I am not sure what the consequences of GA will be ...	though I do think the seniors should be entitled to the fisrt X number of rows, but last year was a total disgrace by the student section.  I'm not sure who or what to attribute this to, but the entire section was never full for ANY game last year.  I sit in the south endzone so I have a perfect view of the students.  I also think they added more "seats" for the students last season  ... yet again it was NOT full at any time for any game last year. Really sad after an 11-2 year with a Sugar Bowl victory .... Go Blue!

Its the sole reason Brian penned this topic.  The officiating was simply pathetic.  It became a street fight as the Big East officials call the same type of game as the B1G refs.  It is NOT how basketball should be played.  Yeah ... Louisville won, but it wasn't a game that reflected the skills and style that led Michigan to routs of VCU and Florida.  It was a damn shame! Go Blue!
5 weeks 1 day ago	Sadly exiting ...	One of the WORST part of college basketball is the fact that the NBA lures kids into thinking of $$$ vs. working on their games.  I hope I am wrong ... but to me he (like Morris and Manny) could have used another year of college ball. Goi Blue!
5 weeks 1 day ago	All speculation ...	but having a year like they had has to be a plus for staying.  He knows that Mitch is going to be a beast next year and that GRIII will also improve greatly.  This would also become Tim's team ... much like it was Trey's team this year.   Plus - its college life  nothing like it.   Having graduated 35 years ago .... let me tell ya - ain't nothin better than those 4 or ____ (fill in the blank) of college life.    I also think that Tm has an excellent opportunity to actually increase his potential for an NBA pick based upon a more consistent shooting game and fewer turnovers next year.  Add to that the fun all of us will have watching Timmy thrash IU twicw next year and watching Crean break down on camera ... hahahahha Go Blue!
5 weeks 6 days ago	stuck in Indiana ...	but just a reminder that BTN has the "spring" game on starting at 9p  EDT.    Have a great time to everyone going .... be looking for some recruits in the stands.   I remember when Denard came to the spring game ... he was actually holding people's babies so the parents could get a picture of him with their kid !!  Unbelieveable and Denard wore that famous smile all day long ! GO BLUE!

6 weeks 2 days ago	That video ....	with the silence just demonstrates what a gifted athlete Tery Burke is.  He had to fisrt catch up and you could tell that he was going to challenge that shot.  It was a perfect block ... perfect.  It looked good last night to everyone person watching (save for one person).   I too sat there, by myself (wife can't see the end of these things) in silence ... just thinking of what SHOULD have been.  Our first 4 games of the tourney was great basketball to watch ... it displayed ball control, lack of fouls and gifted players (plus a once in a lifetime come back win).   But the Final Four games never allowed our "style of play".  In today's game having no turnovers and a team that doesn't look to foul gets you thugged.  It looked like the B1G conference games with officials just as worthless as the the B1G's.  I am sad that basketball has evolved into something other than what it should be ... Go Blue!

I was starting to get over last night (maybe 1% or so), but then I read that 2 of the ref's last night were actually Big East refs.  How the FUCK does that happen in the NC game.   That was NOT basketball, its what happens when refs do NOT control the game.  Pathetic overall and the 2 Burke fouls + the non goaltending ... are prime examples of outright incompetancy!  It is sickening to see that the game is now "thugville" style.  Facts  -  for the entire year lowest # of fouls called per game since 1942 & the lowest point totals since the 1950's .... and it is ALL because the refs do NOT follow the rules and let skilled and talented players rise to the top.   Go Blue!

6 weeks 3 days ago	ESPN (and Gotlieb specifically) ...	made up this entire controversy.  The refs were busily working hard to help Syracuse the last 3 minutes of that game ... Trey gets called for a foul on a drive and he NEVER even touched the player & then Hardaway gets hammered (both arms come down on his head and shoulders) on a layup and NO CALL. I hate that ESPN and the east coast media tried to make something of this, but in post game Syracuse's coach and players didn't support that it was an issue.  Triche even said that he saw Morgan and that he should have stopped and taken a jump shot.  Bottom line ... tonight we make FT's at the end and there will be joy in Michigan'ville! Go Blue!

I would use him to foul the worst FT shooter on the team (has to be a big guy ... right?) and NEVER give up an easy basket.   He can be a monster on the boards!
