According to Michigan Daily, the notice of allegations which Michigan received this week from the NCAA merely formalizes the previous level 2 and lone level 1 allegations already widely discussed and reviewed here and elsewhere.

There is nothing new added the to the existing charges for allegedly impermissible coaching activities and recruiting contacts during the Covid-19 dead period. Michigan now has 90 days to formally respond to the allegations.

Michigan previously responded to the charges by voluntarily suspending Harbaugh from coaching the team for three non-conference games this season in addition to similar lesser suspensions of other coaches linked to the case.

I mean if I didnt know better I'd swear this was done on purpose to try and hurt distract the program as they begin bowl prep and it's national signing day.

But because I KNOW the NCAA is good and just and fair in all their dealings it must be just a wacky coincidence.

Edit: I'm not sure if the NCAA hates Harbaugh more than I hate parsnips but it's damn close.  Cant wait to see the officiating in the Rose Bowl.  I predict I will want to kill my television by halftime.

Edit (the sequel): Just noticed that I'm about to hit a milestone in the treasured and ever-important MgoPoints category.  And it would appear it's going to happen because of a comment I made in response to a post by Magnus.   Now THAT is fitting my old friend.

Welcome to the 200K Points Club.  It's like a Yale Secret Society, nobody knows what we actually do.  It takes about a week just to learn the secret handshake.

Some people say we're the ones that actually run things behind the scenes.  It may be true, I'm not saying any more . . .

In a way, yes. Between this and the NCAA’s earlier violation of their own rules on commenting on open investigations Harbaugh can show a pattern of biased if not malicious behavior by the NCAA towards Harbaugh.

The NCAA is getting smashed by lawsuits already. It would behoove them to settle their differences with Michigan and Harbaugh as quickly and quietly as possible.
