|3 days 19 hours ago||They had to say something nice||
about someone on that team, the Terps have a long way to go.
|3 days 19 hours ago||Yep! If he'd been Coach Harbaugh's from day one||
who knows he might be playing this year in the NFL. He still has issues but I feel he's getting better as well. He has another game under his belt, more success, and more familiarity with teh system and the players. Him being a Senior will help too, I don't think he's reached his ceiling just yet. Next week is going to be a Utah-like test for him though, Northwestern is better than most of the teams we've played.
|3 days 19 hours ago||I see some folks disagree with you||
Drake is pretty good and it's great to see him out there but the running game is clearly better when Da'veon is getting plenty of carries, he's a work horse, he brings energy and he allows us to use Drake sparingly, which improves his chances of staying healthy. I don't know what happened to Isaac today, he wasn't with it; I don't know if he had something nagging or mentally wasn't with it but he had his chance to assert himself and didn't.
|3 days 19 hours ago||The way these two defenses have been playing this year it||
could be N00M #2
|3 days 22 hours ago||Yeah it is||
but it made my son and I laugh as we thought back to his days in Detroit and some of the choices he made in the draft
|3 days 23 hours ago||How many of us - especially the Lions fans - were dubious||
of the praise he gave about the backup quarterback? I mean it's not like he has the best track record of identifying talent...
|6 days 19 hours ago||We've all been waiting for the same thing||
a return to relevance. A return to good football, a return to Michigan football, in whatever scheme it may arrive. We got that. In spades. Sure, the team will be better as the Harbaugh regime draws on - Lord willing - but why pump the brakes?
What's the purpose?
We got the coach for the job, we are already seeing results. We have some solid players. We get better each game. Do I have my maize colored glasses on because I don't see 4 losses. This team has some holes but one of them is not competence, from both the players and the coaches; I think we will out perform teams, make less mistakes, and gain winning advantages. This lands more squarely on the shoulders of Jake RuDock but I thihk he'll be up to the task.
|6 days 22 hours ago||You sir, are a fun-sucker||
If you go to the games aren't you going to cheer your throat raw? Is that what reserved 'we've done this before' people do? Unless your are one of the bluish-whitish haired folk, probably so. If you are one of our older grads, please forgive my youthful exuberance.
|1 week 19 hours ago||I don't know about you||
but I'm not one of the players so I'm rolling with this one! Today is the first time I told somebody that I think we'll beat both the Bucks and the Sparties, I'm drinking the koolaid!
|1 week 2 days ago||There is no coach in America that has impressed||
me as much as Coach Dantonio has the past 8 years or so. I stopped thinking the way you're thinking after the 4th straight loss to those guys. Do you honestly think we are going to roll those guys when they come to Ann Arbor? This one is going to be behind the woodshed from the opening kick. I didn't think the Spartans had talent when they started this steak against us, I KNOW they have better talent now. Coach Dantonio lives for this game and when the Spartans get to Ann Arbor they are going to be ready to give us their A + game, Coach D is going to make sure of it.
|1 week 3 days ago||Oh it was a program defining win||
and that definition is becoming clear by the week
|1 week 3 days ago||Heck the team did fine against Utah||
better play from the QB and WR positions and we walk out of there with a win...
|1 week 6 days ago||So maybe you are high!||
I'd like to reminisce with some herb myself at times, maybe some day
|1 week 6 days ago||Are you high?||
I'm not saying I disagree I was just wondering if you were high
|1 week 6 days ago||I'm perfectly alright||
with the norm of this offense as long as it's winning. Heck, even the most spreadiest offense is going to have a norm
|1 week 6 days ago||Plays on the greatest college football team for the best school||
on the planet as a citizen of the greatest nation on the planet;dude's got it going on...grats Amara!
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Sounds like he could use a little 'Harbaugh-ing'||
Coach has a way of getting players attention, This could benefit Clark
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Behind the back throw||
that was a nice shot
|3 weeks 3 days ago||That's how jukie he is||
he won't stand still long enough for you to identify his number
|3 weeks 3 days ago||No kidding!||
And this is just the first win of the first season! Can you imagine a few years from now? I know somebody is going to slip up and say "Can't spell Harbaugh without two L's...no, wait..."
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Oh no! I want us to be the team that makes them cry||
It would be so great to go back to work that Monday and see the still tear-streaked cheeks of many of my fellow coworkers. I'm saying it too, "Aww did that hurt your feelings? Get used to it. Again."
|3 weeks 3 days ago||What are you guys||
Journalist majors or somethin'?
|3 weeks 3 days ago||They didn't look horrible at first, did they?||
They began to look horrible because we imposed our will on them. Maybe a more experienced team doesn't wilt like they did but how they played as the game went on was a function of how well we were playing.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||I'm going with 'leap'||
the difference is night and day between what Coach Rod or Coach Hoke were able to put on the field, and that's no slight to either one of them; Coach Harbaugh can out coach either one of them.
This team is going to be very good by the end of the year. The guys know the fundamentals, they know the plays, they are well coached. Really, is there any one of us who doesn't feel we're going to win next two weeks, just like we used to 10 years or so ago?
|3 weeks 3 days ago||I wish we had||
their broadband :\
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Sounds like the beginning||
of the next big catch phrase for the blog!
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Ruddock is fine already||
The guy is experiencing new surroundings, a new team and coach with a new playbook, going to Utah to start your very first game, I think the guy can be forgiven for being a little off. If a couple things go well, a couple routes are ran better by the WR's and we might be sitting 2-0. I thought he played well today, solid. He'll do even better next week.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||I nearly ducked||
sitting at home on the couch.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||That was a huge play and a big mistake, a game changer.||
If I was the coach I would coach my punter to just kick it past the endzone for a safety. Let's all remember this moment if Coach Harbaugh uses a scholly on a long snapper in the future.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||That's what I felt too.||
I hadn't seen the team play that way, safely dominating, in years. Oregon St. is a very young team and that was a big factor in us imposing our will upon them, but it was like we'd taken a video from a game of the past. I'm not going to suggest we'll beat MSU or OSU this year but Coach Harbaugh has turned this team around in a hurry. I'll be fanboy enough to say that if Coach Harbaugh stays we are going to win a National Championship in the not so distant future.
