Solomon trending to Bama?

Submitted by 1464 on
Feel free to shoot the messenger. Sam Webb posted an article ($) in regards to Solomon reporting that his mind is made up. I do not pay, so I don't know the content, but the Twitter reactions seem to indicate that it sounds like he's going to be headed to Bama. Boo. EDIT: Posting using phone autocorrect is a dangerous proposition. Fixed the spelling errors. Although to be fair, Soloman does sound like an antisocial super hero, which would be interesting.

Not surprising but certainly disappointing. We've recruited well but unfortunately we're not getting much presence in the southern states. Jabrill opened the doors to recruits in Jersey, Willie Gay from MS and Solomon from GA would have been nice.

Would be tremendous to see Gary and Solomon on the same line (Still hoping it happens).

Without posting too much paywalled info, i'd say it's a pretty big fluff piece written by another scout guy.. not Sam. Doesn't seem to give any indication either way, but just that he made up his mind this week.

I am convinced I am doing something wrong. I hear all these kids praying and God telling them what to do. When I pray .... crickets!

Not sure if i did something to piss God off and he is giving me the silent treatment or if God is spending all his time telling 18 year olds to go to Bama, but it is kind of disquieting not to have access to the omniscience and guidance everyone else seems to be getting.

I heard a theory by a professor at UofM that mind waves travel out for infinity. So in 100000000000 years god will get your prayer. But because time is subjective he gets it immediately. It was more complicated than that but it was interesting to me anyway. Also the professor didn't say he believed that, just that he thought it was possible.

Darn, hopefully not true. Also, Willie Gay and Nico Collins are not locks so we could potentially go 0-3 with these big name guys down the stretch. I thought it would be ok if they didn't land Gay or Collins, nice addtions, but there are recruits and players already here that I like. Signing a DT that could be in the two deep in 2017 would have been very helpful.

How do we go 0-3 with big names down the stretch?  There are 4 big names.

If your including only 3, then we flat out lead for one of them.  You should be including 4 though as in Nico Collins.  Inclulding him then 1 -3 is very much possible.

I don't see how we could get a guy after he publicly said fuck Michigan. As much as I want him at Michigan, I get the feeling he and saban are trolling the shit out of us.

On one hand, I can totally see Saban thinking Harbaugh is a threat and wanting to make him look bad. Using a recruit to show Saban taking these recruits from Harbaugh in a highly publicized battle would be a great way to say 'I'm the Best!'

But I have a hard time believing these 18 year old kids would listen to and go along with such a diabolical plan and lead on Harbaugh and Co. like that. Why risk burning a bridge like that? Nothing to gain.

Just stating fact. Any player not fully interested in education but desiring a chance to demonstrate his skills over a three year period will opt for the limited college experience.

There are a few, however, who have a lmited desire to participate in academis while they are prepping for a future career in the NFL. Imagine yourself as being among that group. Would a financial incentive encouraging you to concentrate on your future career only be sufficient to cause you to give up any interest you many have had in furtering your education?

Be honest.
