Im confused why 30% of the comments here are posters looking for an opinion from Brian on Urban and OSU fiasco.  Are the sheep looking for an opinion to regurgitate as their own at the bar to their buddy's?

What the hell else needs to be said that has not?

Hey, give me your opinion because i'm too fucking dumb to formulate my own?

Is it me, or do Georgia fans seem to talk more shit than Bama fans?

To 30% of the fanbase: yes.  To 70% of the fanbase: no.

More people are college football fans.

12/06/2018 - 9:51am Holy fuck - reading this…

Holy fuck - reading this thread and people calling Coach K an underachiever?  That is absurd.  Izzo totally is overrated.  But Coach K?  I don't even care for the guy and cant stand Dook, but come on, lets be objective here.

Now, as far as the best coach - you really have to do a lot of homework and research on this.  You have to really do something like, compare final average rankings of every coach when they were at a University, and compare it to their recruiting rankings during that same time.

An elite coach gets a lot out of nothing.  A shit coach gets nothing out of a lot.  This would be a fairly good way of assessing all coaches, but would be extremely difficult and time consuming to produce.

Wouldnt this be the pretty much the same as Nordin accouncing he is going pro?  Or Ben Van Summeran?  Or Peters?

Can anyone just accounce they are going pro, even though there is zero chance they get drafted?

How are people guessing Mayfield when Stueber has been the first to come in and/or start in place of JBB?

I would think it has to be Big Stoob.

I think they do a pretty good job at a brief description why.

this year has a real chance of being the best year in the history of Michigan basketball.  I would probably say, the best year was the sophomore year of the fab five.....

11/28/2018 - 10:50am "offering Klingsbury "

"offering Klingsbury "

I think this would be short term suicide.  Everything is in place/setup for a pro-style Harbaugh offense.  I do not think we would have the right personell for this change, and would take a step back before taking 2 steps forward.  We don't have another 3 years to wait.

Just my opinion.

I wouldn't mind going after Verlander's wife.

Brandon Minor was an absolute stud behind one of the worst Michigan offensive lines ever.

11/20/2018 - 4:55pm Additionally though, we need…

Additionally though, we need to keep it a game vs. Bama in the first round.  We don't need to win, but to be competitive.

If we get blown out - uggggh.

11/19/2018 - 10:17am I wish Michigan, with its…

I wish Michigan, with its athletes, would run a high tempo offense.  I am so envious watching inept Indiana quickly get to the line while our defense is confused and not set, and hike the ball.  They narrow the talent descrepency with this.  If we did this, we would crush!

Watching Mone play, i just cannot pinpoint what happened to him in a year.  Wasn't he once proclaimed the 2nd best player on the team or something like that by Harbaugh 2 years ago?  I focused on him a couple series, and my gawd i wanted to gouge my eyeballs out.

11/16/2018 - 9:51am that is interesting.  A slew…

that is interesting.  A slew of crystal balls just went to Clemson within the last week, so i figured word got out and he was all Clemson.

Guess we are still kind of in it then,.

that girl is stacked.  You got a name?

11/15/2018 - 12:13pm Its absolute fucking…

Its absolute fucking bullshit that Michigan State was ranked top 10, we were 19 at the beginning of the season after:

- we made it the the title game, they got ousted quick

- they lost 2 lottery picks, we lost 1 guy in late first round

State lost to Kansas THIS year

We beat Vilanova THIS year

YET MSU will still be ranked ahead of us come next poll.  NCAA rankings are F'd up!

11/14/2018 - 1:30pm This is actually going to…

This is actually going to back-fire on them IMO.  Georgia inched closer to us this last week.  We will now widen the gap back up because Indiana is a much tougher opponent.

11/14/2018 - 12:23pm I think Chase looks more…

I think Chase looks more like Ray Lewis, and Shae Patterson looks exactly like Michael Strahan.

11/13/2018 - 3:34pm Your data is not accurate. …

Your data is not accurate.  Auburn is no longer 24th.  And will Kentucky still be top 25 (probably i guess).

But your idea stands - Georgia is very close and still could very well jump us.

ND is going to lose 1 of their next 2 so it wont matter.

11/13/2018 - 12:08pm I have been biting my tongue…

I have been biting my tongue to say this.  But hell, here it goes.  Hawkins is not a very good safety.  There i said it nicely.

During games, when a play goes wrong, i usually see him around the action not making the play.  Ever.  I know, i know - maybe the Runyan effect can happen here too!

11/13/2018 - 9:19am Geesh - Rick Leach? Yikes! …

Geesh - Rick Leach? Yikes!  On the flip side, i did not realize Harbaugh had high completion percentages, would have guessed they were closer to Leach's numbers.

Little shocked 25 TD's is the most thrown by a Michigan QB.

Gardner - imagine him on a well oiled machine of a team.  He would have put up some crazy numbers.

Shea has 4 games left.  He can rewrite a few of these.

Henne's total TD's over a career is going to be tough to beat at Michigan.

11/12/2018 - 5:26pm Yeah, Karlaftis is really,…

Yeah, Karlaftis is really, really good.  He is my #2 recruit, behind only Daxton Hill that we either have already or have a good chance at.

Karlaftis is a stud, and worst case scenario will be a 3rd team Big Ten/Honorable mention type player.  Again, that is WORST case.  He already solid.

11/09/2018 - 9:37am Couple comments:

If…

Couple comments:

If everyone keeps winning, and Bama loses in SEC title game, they ARE in.  They will not be left out.

Not to worry, but 1 of the top 3 WILL lose at least 1 game, probably 2 from here on out.  ND by itself has 2.5 games they could lose (counting FSU as the .5, it could happen, but FSU really, really sucks this year).  Expect ND to lose to either a very good Syracuse, or a must win coach hot seat USC at USC to salvage his job.

11/08/2018 - 5:07pm Off the top of my head, the…

Off the top of my head, the 2003 class was better.  Woodley, Burgess, Crable, Hall  and im sure im missing a slew more.

11/08/2018 - 8:53am They will still beat FSU at…

They will still beat FSU at home.  But Syracuse and USC on raod, that is a different story.  ND would lose 1 for sure, maybe both.

11/07/2018 - 12:40pm Your short sighted.  It…

Your short sighted.  It doesnt matter.  It cancels out.  We already beat MSU.  If MSU wins (and wins their other games) we will have beaten a top 10 MSU team.

I am actually rooting for MSU only because i believe it will make our game with OSU easier, as they will have less to play for, and their locker room will be more cancerous.

11/06/2018 - 11:37am No.  No.  No.

Michigan…

No.  No.  No.

Michigan definitely matches up better with Clemson.  I love our chances against their QB.  ACC sucks, Clemson has had it fairly easy.

11/06/2018 - 9:26am I agree with this. I…

I agree with this. I actually think Rutgers covers, because they will hang with our 3rd string fairly evenly.  I think it becomes 28-0 sometime in the 2nd quarter, and the starters are done.

I think we win by somewhere 21-35.  If our starters played the entire game against their starters we would win by 60+.

11/05/2018 - 4:47pm He is not a troll.  He just…

He is not a troll.  He just has an opinion that differs from what you want t hear.

I have been refraining to post my opinion because i know what happens when you post an opinion that differs from the sheep on here that star gaze.   Its not a horrible opinion by any means so dont fret.

His athleticism is off the charts and whoever gets the kid has something few coaches ever get to work with.  What happens after that is only in Harrison and the coaches control.  He could end up a once in a generational type talent if hes coachable and under the right coaching staff (OURS!).

As far as production, he produces right now because he bigger/more athletic than anyone he plays against.  He is raw.  He needs coaching.  Gary was definitely ahead of him in almost every way.  Karlaftis is more ready to play right now.  He won't be instant impact.

But he also has upside of a guy like Clowney.  If everything aligns for him, he is a future #1 pick.  And i can definitely see our coaching staff the place for that to happen.  Mattison is amazing.

11/04/2018 - 7:52pm Dont want to start a new…

Dont want to start a new thread for this question...

If MSU beats OSU this weekend, Is Michigan locked in as division winner even if OSU beats us?

11/01/2018 - 9:54am Marcus DuPree?

Marcus DuPree?

11/01/2018 - 9:52am Great point.

Great point.

11/01/2018 - 9:51am If people hate you for what…

If people hate you for what school you go to, then they are not your friends in the first place.  This sounds so similar to the successfull athlete that after they retire, make bad decisions and run out of money.  All of a sudden, they have no more freinds when the $$$ dries up.

Fuck the people around him that are pressuring him.  That would personally give me more incentive to go to Michigan, not OSU.

10/31/2018 - 10:25am I also noticed that.  Cannot…

I also noticed that.  Cannot take things personally and detract from the actual play moving forward.

10/30/2018 - 3:11pm you tell me to look at that…

you tell me to look at that lineup and tell you who won, i would say blue team each and every time.  When i read that the maize team kicked their ass, i had to look over the teams again!  Impressive.

10/26/2018 - 9:25am I remember after the army…

I remember after the army all american game, being completely underwhelmed by Green.  Then thinking it was just a 1 time game and not enough evidence, going back and watching all his film.  I was extremely vocal about, basically, how terrible he was.  It was very obvious.  He was a three star recruit IMO.

I still think Grady should have been a star though.  Im not sure what happened there.  Also think
Baraka would have been one of the all-timers here too.

10/26/2018 - 9:18am He may very well be my 2nd…

He may very well be my 2nd favorite player in this class.  Sucks, but i think your right.

10/26/2018 - 9:15am I am late to the 'hate…

I am late to the 'hate marcus ray' bandwagon.  But hell, i think i am about to jump on it.  He is making a complete ass of himself to possibly the only group of people who still love him, Wolverine fans.

10/25/2018 - 10:01am I do believe in it.  Its…

I do believe in it.  Its good for us, in a bad way.  The more banged up/injured PSU gets, the better off we are.  Imagine if McSorley is injured and cannot play vs us.  Imagine if Miles Sanders is injured and cannot play vs. us.  Hell, what if their starting left tackle is injured etc...

Now with that said, its a shitty way to look at bettering our chances of winning, but injuries happen, and happen more when the other team is tough and hits the shit out of a player on every tackle.  I couldn't imagine playing against Ray Lewis. I would call in sick that game if i was a running back.

10/25/2018 - 9:08am What are you talking about? …

What are you talking about?  Iowa could be top 7.

10/24/2018 - 10:59am Bingo.  Someone gets it. …

Bingo.  Someone gets it.  Don't shoot ourselves in the foot, and we win.  Because this defense is damn elite.

Shea has done much better this year than i thought he would. I figured he would be a 15 TD, 12 INT gunslinger like Bret Favre and lose us a game we have no business losing.  I think Harbaugh should get a lot of credit for coaching him not to make a ton of mistakes, because he sure the hell did at Ole Miss.

10/23/2018 - 9:31am If OSU loses to MSU, how are…

If OSU loses to MSU, how are we guaranteed to go to the Big Ten Championship game?  I thought we would still need to beat OSU?

10/23/2018 - 9:12am I have no problems fessing…

I have no problems fessing up.  My initial thoughts on Josh Mettellus committing were not pleasant (never posted about it, just kept it to myself).  Now i just shut the fuck up and trust Don Brown.  When we first started recruiting Sainristil, my initial 1 second reaction quickly became 'STFUATDB'.  He does indeed look better than his rankings - as Don Brown finds these guys like Uche and Paye.  Incredible.

10/22/2018 - 2:58pm You mean without our best WR…

You mean without our best WR, Best QB, 2nd best QB, best OT...etc

Injuries are just a fucking excuse, and everyone should be PROUD of Harbaugh for getting to 8-5 without all posted above (and more) and yet NEVER used the injury card like Izzo and Dantonio constantly do.  He took verbal abuse like a man and ate it.

He should get soooo much more credit from some of these shitty ass Michigan fans that constantly bash him and his decisions during games that we end up blowing out our opponents.

10/19/2018 - 9:10am This is the most important…

This is the most important part of the game, and is the major reason i am nervous about the game. If there was 22mph winds, like estimated a few days ago - this would be a tough, tough game.  If the winds can get down to 16mph, i like our chances much better.  The less wind, the better.  Our biggest advantage is passing against their defense.  Turn it into a mash it out run game, and we could be in trouble.

10/17/2018 - 9:34am Its the national media -…

Its the national media - their switch flipped and now they regurgitate how great Michigan is now ad naseum after beating an extremely weak defensive Wisconsin team.  And the sheep take it as gospel.

The thing i noticed is, on this site and 247 site and rivals site, how our offensive line is suddenly awesome!  Its a little better, yeah, but holy fuck look at the lines we have played the last few weeks - our line is still average (which is better than last year and beginning of the year i admit) but people are now greatly over-hyping our O-Line.

BTW, Purdue is going to beat OSU this week. You heard it here first!

10/16/2018 - 9:33am i think Mgoblue98 is correct…

i think Mgoblue98 is correct.  This purdue team may very well upset OSU.  Purdue is MUCH better than their record suggests.  I don't think OSU is going to come out with their "A" game, Purdue will.  There is a very good shot of an upset this weekend.

10/15/2018 - 4:56pm Everyone on this message…

Everyone on this message board (and zach shaw at 247) is GREATLY overrating our offensive line.  They appear to be taking care of business because they have played Wisonsins worst line in 79 years and a 1 man Maryland defensive line.  And cupcakes before that (except ND).

Our line play is definitely better.  No doubt.  But holy shit pump the fucking brakes people!  Our line is still average, and people are throwing out some crazy shit right now.

Michigan States front will make you realize how good our line is again, as you WILL be screaming at your TV set.

But we still win.
