Would not recommend using a teenagers tube sock for anything...
|05/02/2018 - 9:38am||Clearly||
MSU is PSU and PSU is MSU.
|03/22/2018 - 8:12am||QB?||
Does this mean he is switching to QB?
|02/19/2018 - 7:37pm||Offense or defense?||
|02/13/2018 - 8:01am||He said he'd retire||
If Jimmy Clausen wasn't a star in 8 years. He's supposed to retire now.
|02/07/2018 - 10:08am||Hey!||
I live in the SB area. Notre Dame is not in Bum Fuck, IN. That's like 4 miles south of campus!
|02/07/2018 - 8:51am||Woo||
|02/02/2018 - 1:57pm||Sobering||
Thank you for sharing so articulately. This post is extremely sobering for someone who has had a safe and priviledged upbringing.
As a father of 4, it really enforces the importance of having these discussions. I hope to raise my children to be as strong as OP with the ability and awareness to come to me with issues big or small.
Thank you again.
|02/01/2018 - 1:42pm||Yes,||
I was searching so I didn't double post it. I don't have words for it. But I felt bad about myself for having watched it.
|01/24/2018 - 2:10pm||Yea, totally||
|01/24/2018 - 1:36pm||Good shit||
Good shit, Jedd.
|01/23/2018 - 1:09pm||There are||
There are like ten periods there. They are just grouped together.
|01/23/2018 - 11:48am||per class||
Might have been 1-2 per class. Which makes more sense. If ND had 4 Percy Harvin's and 4 Janoris Jenkins, they'd be much scarier in September.
|01/23/2018 - 11:38am||Per a prof||
ND grad here. A prof of mine noted that Urban had a deal done in principle, but asked for 1 or 2 recruits 'off the books' meaning outside of the normal standards.
It went up to the provost, who denied the request. That's how Urban landed in Florida.
So I heard.
|01/22/2018 - 4:20pm||Thanks, Ace.||
|01/22/2018 - 10:44am||I know nothing||
So I usually make a joke about checking the flux capacitor. Consider this my joke.
|01/19/2018 - 11:58am||Over/Under||
Whatever the points are for the first 11 games, take the under.
But in the last game, for the love of god, take the over.
|01/19/2018 - 8:54am||I agree||
I agree with your sentiment. Mo's production was off the charts and he was as consistent as possible.
And Aaron Donald is a great comparison with size/skill/production who was overlooked. Louis Riddick has also called Donald not only one of the best DT in the game, but one of, if not THE, best DEFENDER in the NFL.
I'd love for NFL scouts to learn their lesson and show Mo, ahem, mo' love.
|01/17/2018 - 3:06pm||Great points||
Great points. Thank you.
I do get the general "your life sucks..." as you mention. I do. But I just mean to say that it is next to impossible for me to imagine that pain without the deep feeling of regret I would have if I did that. And that stops me from completely understanding.
There certainly are people better to speak about suicide than me. I appreciate your point of view.
|01/17/2018 - 9:28am||Understanding - Sorry if too long.||
I used to think of suicide as very selfish and had little sympathy for the victims. It was actually on this very blog in a forum about Dave Mirra, where some very eloquent posters really showed the error of my thinking.
I hate not understanding things. And I can't understand suicide. But to me, that's part of it. I understand now that I will never understand the WHY of it. That's what makes it so very sad. Not only for the friends and family of the victim, but especially for the victim. My heart aches for anyone who has been affected by suicide.
Again, sorry for the rambling, and I'm not a great writer so if my point doesn't get across well.
|01/16/2018 - 9:55am||Go Blue||
Terrific quotes from Grant.
I'm guilty of doubting he can play at the same level, but I'm convinced that he has done everything possible to give it a real shot. I'm rooting for him harder than ever!
|01/16/2018 - 8:27am||You act||
like aaron hernandez was a murderer before he went to Florida. I completely disagree. Urban Meyer turned him INTO a murderer.
|01/11/2018 - 3:52pm||Half serious||
Obviously, although not obvious, I was half kidding. Wheatley was a hot name to leave, Zordich too. Partridge was approached as was Dr. Blitz.
The taste of it all just isn't right. We are waiting around for 1 or 2 of our coaches to leave while celebrating rivals' coaches leaving because it helps bring them down to our level.
|01/11/2018 - 3:43pm||Can't wait||
I can't wait til our coaches were being poached cuz they are doing an amazing job and not because Harbaugh strongly suggests they find somewhere to land on their feet.
|01/10/2018 - 4:29pm||OOOOOO BOY||
|01/10/2018 - 3:47pm||Per other posters||
He is moving to Safeties with a big raise.
|01/10/2018 - 3:10pm||His other contract||
Coaches contracts have offset clauses. Basically Michigan is letting Arkansas pay him rather than them. Enos can't double dip.
|01/10/2018 - 2:53pm||Maybe||
Maybe it means that Harbaugh is expecting one of the current 'coordinators' to be gone soon allowing that bump to happen??
|01/10/2018 - 2:49pm||As long||
As long as its not August 10th, 2018
|01/10/2018 - 2:46pm||Looks||
Looks like Enos is WR/Asst coach. He must be getting paid still from Arkansas, like Fisch was from Jags. Otherwise not sure how he'd accept that little. Jay makes $250k
|01/10/2018 - 1:24pm||Now||
Now is NOT the time to bring up Jordan Diamond!!
|01/09/2018 - 2:39pm||It must be bad||
You know its bad when this is all FauxMo can say.
Also, fuck off Pitino.
|01/09/2018 - 8:22am||Refresh me||
Can someone remind me of Costello trying to commit? Why did Hoke say no (besides him being an idiot)?
|01/09/2018 - 8:12am||Lies, Damn Lies,||
There's lies, damn lies, and splitting Harbaugh's record at the Iowa game.
This season was tough. But it isn't a pivot point of the program. We literally were expected to win 8 games. And that was with a returning starter at QB.
We can compare to Georgia all we want, but since we won't bend our moral compass that way, we won't get some of those players. And that's ok. Harbaugh will do it the right way.
|01/05/2018 - 10:07am||The dad||
The dad didn't like ND's S&C program. Didn't think it got Eq ready/strong enough his first year. That was a big reason middle kid, Osiris went Stanford and not ND.
This season's passing game didn't help matters either.
Amon-Ra is likely headed to USC as his HS QB is signed there as well.
|01/04/2018 - 4:20pm||From a buddy||
My buddy is big ND fan. From their boards. "This all happened this morning. The rivals mod is saying last night at 9 pm Elko was messaging him asking about our commits down at the UA game."
Must have gotten a huge offer to get it done so quick. I think he was making around a million at ND.
|01/04/2018 - 2:39pm||Avant||
Jason Avant never dropped a pass in college of NFL. At least that's what I tell my kids.
|01/04/2018 - 2:37pm||But||
But Chesson wasn't the 1/1a WR that year. Funchess, Darboh were the starters. Darboh had almost 500 yards and 2 TD that year for comparison's sake.
|01/04/2018 - 2:32pm||Hopefully not||
I hope the others improve enough so that those two are not contributors. They should have a role like Drake Harris and Moe Ways.
|01/04/2018 - 2:29pm||140 yards||
140 yards in two full seasons.
The problem with the jet sweeps is its a tell if he can't do anything else. I hope we get more creative offensively, but I still think there are better players to be on the field.
|01/04/2018 - 2:22pm||Agree||
Agree except for McDoom and Schoenle. McDoom is bad.
Schoele is fine but will likely just be too far down the list. DPJ, Black, Collins, Martin, Perry then the TE with McKeon, Gentry, and Eubanks. And if we cross our fingers Evans will get a few targets a game. I think Schoenle is just left out.
|01/04/2018 - 2:15pm||Depressing||
I do think they will be much improved next year. Between the 4 frosh this year, at least 2 will improve dramtically and be close to dominant. Whatever the WR version of 2nd year Rashan Gary.
That being said, I disagree about Crawford and McDoom. Crawford is a good blocker and that's about it. Nothing else about him is impressive.
McDoom is just bad. He's tall Norfleet with no hands.
|01/04/2018 - 11:24am||Dwumfour||
Yea, Dwumfour is a 3T. He's like Mo Hurst but more sudden. /fredjackson'd
|01/04/2018 - 10:24am||*Me picturing*||
|01/03/2018 - 4:16pm||One of the||
He was actually one of the only ones to land at a P5 school.
|01/03/2018 - 2:29pm||What about||
What about when a 3 or 4 seed wins March Madness?
|01/02/2018 - 4:48pm||Who?||
|01/02/2018 - 4:11pm||Lame Duck||
He was lame duck as soon as Michigan abandoned zone concepts. Once that experiment was over, he had no long term prospects at Michigan. Harbaugh probably made the first call to Taggert.
|01/02/2018 - 1:15pm||Yes||
Yes, however, I would have expected Speight to improve with the offense, and probably help them mature more/quicker.
We can only look at Wilton's season through those first few games and he wasn't good. But the O Line and WR were better in the back half of the season and having JOK and BP only stalled that progress.
But in the context of the entire year, I agree with you. It feels like Harbaugh should have a few pages in his playbook to make some chicken shit into chicken salad.
|01/02/2018 - 12:18pm||Agree||
Peters did not look like a guy who had taken 1st team reps for the last several weeks. He didn't seem in control or command the offense. He looked exactly like he did against Minnesota and Rutgers. He dropped back, looked at his first read and threw mediocre passes.
He is QB3 at best next year.
