Title Game Tonight - Who You Got?

Assuming you're watching the game and not boycotting on account of it being an all-SEC matchup, who you got in tonight's title game? Georgia? Alabama? Or the meteor? 

I'd like to see Georgia win if for no other reason than I think it's good for the game to have someone other than Alabama win, but I can't bet against Nick Saban and what appears to now be his fully armed and operational Death Star. Especially now that he's got his whole team buying into the "no one thought you deserved to be here" mentality. I got Alabama 24-14. Georgia's defense plays well but Fromm gets harassed all night and Chubb/Michel can't ever get much going against a slew of defenders who will all go in the first or second round of the draft at some point. 

What say you?

Who do I think will win?
Alabama, because they're Alabama.

Who do I want to win?
Georgia, because they're not Alabama.

Am I boycotting because it's all-SEC?
Yes and no. While not a formal boycott, I'm way less interested in a game between only SEC opponents, so I don't care if I miss it.

... not that I'm boycotting. I just don't have any interest in either of those teams. So, my guess is we'll either be watching some show that won a lot of awards last night during the Golden Globes, because my wife's interest has been piqued. Or, we'll watch the Bachelor because... I have no idea why that show still exists.

My wife is a Dawg alum and former cheerleader.  Our home will obviously be pulling for them.  I'm just grateful she didn't make the trip to Atl and drop $2k on a ticket.

however, if Georgia getting embarrassed would make it 1% less likely they swoop in at the last minute and get Otis Reese, I'm for that. Then I'll take a hot shower after and probably throw up in my mouth a little, because Saban.

Somehow UGa winning feels more tolerable. I have some very good friends who Bama alums and listening to them has become insufferable. Wish, somehow, no SEC could win it tonight.

As someone who lives in Georgia let me tell you that UGA fans are almost unsufferable as it is.  You would think they have won every National Championship that the SEC took part in if you listen to some of them.

Bad as it is you still probably want another trophy in Satan's case.  It's easy to point out that Bama didn't deserve to be there by their own coaches statement.

Bama already has the cache of being great - no need to let Georgia get some of that too

 

then when Saban eventually retires no one else from the SEC will be a title holder

I'm chaning my answer...

I want this to go down as the 'worst and most boring championship ever', full of turnovers, penalties and ejections, and going to OT tied 0-0... then Georgia wins by sneaking in a tipped field goal.

I'm hoping for the meteor...

But if that misses, there will be no suspense.  Bama will crowd the LoS and stop UGA's run game.  Jake Fromm State Farm will not be good enough to beat them over the top with his arm.  Bama's offense will score something.  Game over.

Boring SEC snoozefest that Bama always wins.

I've got a friend who's a reall good guy and a big UGA fan / grad so I'd like to see Georgia win for him, but I suspect Bama does what Bama does and wins a boring game something like 34-14

Clemson won the title the year after Georgia did in 1980, so Georgia will get national title #2 the year after Clemson got their second title. I'm very Obsessive Complusive

Could care less about another SEC team winning the NC. But, like you would at least like to see Georgia win because it's not Alabama again.......
