10/15/2018 - 8:52pm Still, this was a…

Still, this was a performance that now has people talking about Michigan and the Playoffs, and not in a “Ha Ha” sort of way.

You know, kind of how they used to talk about Penn State and Wisconsin.

09/19/2018 - 5:56pm I like the class

QB -…

I like the class

QB - adding another 4-star - take one every year

RB - 2 excellent players

FB - don't need one this class

TE - All is a composite 4-star now - we're good here, plus Patterson in 20

WR - Giles, Johnson and Kent - Kent is having a nice senior year and will be good - I like where we are, and Branham coming in 20

OT - Jones and Stewart - would like one more here

Interior OL - Rumler, Barnhart and Carpenter will be fine - we have Filiaga, Spanellis and Paea behind our starters still

DE's - 1 more SDE or WDE would be nice, but not needed

DT - Hinton, Woods and Smith give us immediate help and longer term help, plus Warren in 20

LB - with just Thomas in 19 and McGrone in 18, seems thin - would like one more

CB - DJ is good and took 3 in 18 and Seldon lined up for 20

S - solid

overall, very happy - would like an OT to be complete, and a LB and WDE/SDE as icing on the cake, plus anyone highly rated

From a yahoo article:

https://sports.yahoo.com/report-mother-zach-courtney-smith-claim-ex-ohio-state-assistant-victim-retaliatory-plot-ex-wife-223132593.html

Snook has published four books covering Ohio State football, including “What It Means to Be a Buckeye.” The foreword of that book was written by Urban Meyer, who opened by praising Earle Bruce, who died in April and is the grandfather of Zach Smith and father of Lynn Bruce.

“In looking back, it seems it all came together for me when I came to Ohio State in 1986 to accept a graduate assistant position with Earle Bruce. I have to thank him for that. To this day, we are very, very close.”

08/07/2018 - 10:28am https://www.cdc.gov…

https://www.cdc.gov/heartdisease/family_history.htm

Genetic factors likely play some role in high blood pressure, heart disease, and other related conditions. However, it is also likely that people with a family history of heart disease share common environments and other potential factors that increase their risk.

- my opinion - many people use genetics as an excuse as to why it isn't their fault and don't bother with proper diet - this is an issue with today's "not your fault" society

https://www.northwestern.edu/newscenter/stories/2010/11/heart-disease.html

“What you do and how you live is going to have a larger impact on whether you are in ideal cardiovascular health than your genes or how you were raised,“ said Norrina Allen, the lead study author and a postdoctoral fellow in preventive medicine at the Feinberg School.

The Northwestern Medicine study looked at three generations of families including 7,535 people at age 40 and a separate group of 8,920 people at age 50. The goal was to see who was in ideal cardiovascular health at these two critical periods in middle age.

I am/was surprised how easy this change ended up being tbh.

08/07/2018 - 9:46am it is almost always the diet…

it is almost always the diet, not genes

people think it is genes because if a parent has it, the kid has it, but they also eat the same diet as well

also, skinny =/= healthy - it is why some runners drop dead of a heart attack because eating crap and exercising doesn't make you healthy

speaking as a testimonial to all this myself
