Al Washington is my choice.

Someone who recruits like Mattison and develops great recruits into dynamic performers with a personality to match. We had this guy a couple of times. Now he's gone.

If we can get Al Washington to stay, that's the obvious play. If he goes to OSU to coach the linebackers, though, I don't think anyone would be surprised.

I'd actually be pumped if Hoke came back to coach the DL. The players loved him, he was a decent recruiter, and he's got a great track record coaching at that level. He's also unlikely to get another DC gig after his stint at UO. This staff could use some more stability.

Outside of those guys, I'm sure Harbaugh can go get another up and coming coach. Only problem is those guys don't typically sick around very long if they're any good.

You know what, Harbaugh wants players and coaches who want to “win for Michigan” and Hoke checks the box as far as coaches are concerned. He is also a proven DL coach. Why not give him a call? The man can recruit.

I think Hoke would be a great addition.  DL coach is in his wheelhouse, great with recruits and understands why a Michigan Man would NEVER go to OSU.

Al Washington

move partridge back to backers

and get a db coach that can add zone looks to this defence

Paul Haynes comes to mind current sparty db coach who was a head coach at Kent and former buckeye db coach under Tressel
