It is always good to crush the hopes of a Pitino!

The review music is as bad as it gets.

01/22/2019 - 8:58pm YEAH CHARLES!

YEAH CHARLES!

Seems much more useful than the weird cluttered icons around players.

01/21/2019 - 12:32pm Flops should be crimes.

Flops should be crimes.

01/20/2019 - 10:29pm Make him blink and get…

Make him blink and get penalized 15 yards.

01/19/2019 - 9:19pm Chicago got a decent snow…

Chicago got a decent snow but nothing disruptive. I stocked up on whiskey and started 10 lbs of pulled pork in a slow cooker last night to prepare. Currently going through the provisions with a small crew.

I've got KC and NO tomorrow. A drunk Philly friend bet me NO would win the Super Bowl after they murdered the Eagles in week 11 so I would prefer to be wrong on that one.

01/19/2019 - 1:26pm STFU Dakich!!

STFU Dakich!!

01/19/2019 - 1:18pm That foul lets Wisconsin set…

That foul lets Wisconsin set their defense so no real disadvantage either. Weird one to whine about.

01/19/2019 - 12:47pm They have to guard the quick…

They have to guard the quick pass back to the inbounder so you basically get to run a play 4 on 4.

I'd prefer he's getting the ball initially but there's good reasoning for doing it that way.

01/19/2019 - 12:45pm They keep wiping the spot…

They keep wiping the spot immediately after he slips so I'm going 100%.

01/19/2019 - 12:45pm 1-7 from 3 with the lead in…

1-7 from 3 with the lead in a Trohl Flop Fest. I'll take it.

01/19/2019 - 12:35pm Remembering why I hate…

Remembering why I hate Wisconsin basketball.

01/19/2019 - 12:29pm 17-0 isn't enough for giddy?!

17-0 isn't enough for giddy?!

01/19/2019 - 12:28pm At least they are…

At least they are unreasonably draft-negging all of Michigan's players.

Iggy and JP: No need to submit for evaluations just watch this broadcast.

Is it me or are all of these fouls an extension of make up calls for make up calls?

01/19/2019 - 12:17pm This matchup is precisely…

This matchup is precisely why Davis is a useful piece.

Weird way of describing a buyout but ok.

01/17/2019 - 9:02pm I’d pay an irrational amount…

I’d pay an irrational amount of money to watch a Knicks-Heat style murder series again but the growth of the league bears out that offense is what gets the most people watching.

Steph, Klay and Harden would all score a ton in any era. They would probably have an even greater impact in a league that was objectively dumb about threes.

01/17/2019 - 8:32pm I’d rather have Skip and…

I’d rather have Skip and Shannon do the game than Urban.

01/17/2019 - 3:45pm The "believe it when I see…

The "believe it when I see it!" crowd taking a noble stance against offseason coverage of Michigan football never ceases to amaze.

01/16/2019 - 7:51pm When your resignation letter…

When your resignation letter is 11 pages it's safe to say you did a terrible job.

GTFO Engler nobody is reading that shit.

01/16/2019 - 4:22pm Harbaugh's pretty damn good…

Harbaugh's pretty damn good at the hiring coaches thing and FWIW on vetting this guy Sean Magee was the player personnel guy at Navy for most of Nua's time there before he took the same role at Michigan.

01/16/2019 - 2:14pm Moar condiment threads.

Moar condiment threads.

01/16/2019 - 11:43am What is the benefit of the…

What is the benefit of the added friction?

I can see an argument for academics but you can solve that with requirements for credits (on track to graduate), GPA, and transfer windows (ending a semester at your current school or getting those credits elsewhere could be an added requirement). To me the main benefit is mostly roster continuity, which doesn't have much to do with the well being of a given student athlete.

I'd argue the existing friction mostly benefits coaches and most benefits coaches who lie to get kids on campus.

01/16/2019 - 7:57am Do not want.

Do not want.

01/16/2019 - 7:27am Empowering the players…

Empowering the players always draws the "complete chaos" counterargument. Sure there would be a lot of change but I'm not so sure this is a status quo worth defending.

If you go somewhere and it sucks or is a bad fit or the coaches lied to you or your coach is fired/leaves, you should be able to go somewhere else without punishment provided you are in good academic standing and are on track with credits to graduate.

I'd imagine 18-20 year olds are more equipped to make a good decision than when they were 17 or 18 and committed to the school in the first place.

01/16/2019 - 6:05am In a just world players all…

In a just world players all would transfer without sitting a year provided they're doing fine academically.

01/15/2019 - 12:27pm I feel a thousand years old.

I feel a thousand years old.

These dudes are just so damn fun!

01/13/2019 - 8:01pm Meant notable because he was…

Meant notable because he was probably going to start, not because he might come here.

Given he's 5' 8" and has been moved to safety it sounds like Michigan was right wanting to see him in person.

01/13/2019 - 7:35pm I wanted the Teske fast…

I wanted the Teske fast break so bad.

01/13/2019 - 6:48pm It's a fairly ideal…

It's a fairly ideal situation for Gattis to develop in because he'll have experienced play callers around him to gameplan with and talk to in-game. Even if the committee approach (which isn't as weird or slow as people make it out to be) dies, a game is still a constant dialogue between coaches and analysts.

Gattis comes from places with strong running/PA games as well so think he'll mesh well with Jim, Warinner, etc.

01/13/2019 - 5:06pm It's a concern for sure …

It's a concern for sure (especially depth) just think they'll be better than this year because Dwumfour/Kemp '19 > anyone in '18 as starters and Jeter/freshmen can be as effective, or at the least most disruptive than Marshall and Mone.

Solomon barely played so not really replacing there so much as missing out on what we hoped his future impact would be.

Add a grad transfer and I feel better about the depth.

01/13/2019 - 4:58pm Enormous tackle bullets are…

Enormous tackle bullets are always welcome!

01/13/2019 - 3:43pm Yeah it's too bad neither…

Yeah it's too bad neither transfer was ever going to happen.

Little was never going to transfer and risk being ineligible. Anderson was always going to Texas and seemed like he just wanted to enjoy being recruited by big time schools for the first time (which is fine).

01/13/2019 - 3:39pm It's worth it. Quinn is…

It's worth it. Quinn is great, the football guy is solid, and they have really good national reporters for college and pro sports.

I think I paid something like $24 for a year. They have deals like that intermittently which makes me wonder how well they're doing frankly, but I'll take the $2/month.

01/13/2019 - 3:26pm I think they're going to be…

I think they're going to be better inside in '19 than '18 but I'd feel a lot more confident in that if they add a veteran guy.

Brian Smith is the Rice DC so I'm sure they've done their homework on him.

01/12/2019 - 4:43pm They were in public hence…

They were in public hence the arrest. Michigan banned him for the inappropriate relationship

What an arduous journey that would be.

01/11/2019 - 6:55pm Two coaching hires that look…

Two coaching hires that look great, basketball win, and the AD green lights Yoder to the Michigan internet.

What an awesome end to the week!

01/11/2019 - 6:37pm The guy has a bad website…

The guy has a bad website that is a mix of paywalled stuff from other sites and total fabricated slander to get clicks. Bullshit artist with no concern for the players he writes fan fiction about.

He's started maybe half (more?) of the most offensive patently false rumors that end up on this board, beginning with saying the team was high for The Horror.

Shame the coward into oblivion!

Metellus is pretty darn good now. Another leap would be great though.

New guy could be a few things but he is definitely not a DL coach.
