42-13 Michigan.  We finally open up the offense a bit for shea, and block for him.

I’m pretty much done with the whole urban Meyer osu thing, please make it stop.  He was wrong, that coach has issues, Meyer is not going anywhere.  Can we please just stop with this topic.

09/18/2018 - 10:47pm I hope not I hope we run the…

I hope not I hope we run the table and he starts throwing up crazy numbers and gets all hyped up and goes early because we just beat Ohio, won the big championship and went to the playoff, and then he tears it up in the playoff we win it all and he goes in the first round.  Mcaffrey is your starter next year and is phenomenal.  That is was I hope.

09/18/2018 - 2:39pm I wish he would unleash him…

I wish he would unleash him.  We have to run to set up the PA, but I don't believe we can be so fixated on the run as this is not going to work against good defenses.

09/18/2018 - 8:19am I don’t why this is a thread…

I don’t why this is a thread but, psu should be #2, wiscy #3, MSU #4, the rest besides Rutgers are the same to me.

If we can stop with the stupid penalties on defense, and the offense can progress each week I believe they are 10-1 going into the Ohio game.  Unfortunately we lose again in my opinion.

At least it won’t be hot or humid so maybe we can worry less about cramps

09/17/2018 - 2:16pm You are right on one thing,…

You are right on one thing, Mckeon just stood there and needed to come back to the ball.  That was a great throw but looked terrible once the pick was made to the untrained football eye.  If he comes back to the ball like he is supposed too Michigan is on the 1 or two yard line. Other than that I'm not sure what you are watching, he does a great job going through his progressions and seems to make the right decision as to whom the ball should be thrown too when the time comes.

09/13/2018 - 8:36am Glad to see a confident Qb…

Glad to see a confident Qb but I’ll relax when we are playing a quality opponent and you have more than a milliseconds time to throw the ball

09/13/2018 - 8:32am I really want them to work…

I really want them to work on things that they will need against quality opponents. I said this last week and will say it again they will not be able to run power against quality opponents in my opinion. We tried this last year and it simply did not work.  It works and looks awesome against the wmu’s And such but when it comes time to play the big boys it just doesn’t, so I would like to see more reps at rpo and spread as that is what I believe will work when they are playing quality opponents

Brady is the GOAT, but the best QB in the game right now is Rodgers and it really bothers me to say that

09/11/2018 - 8:05am I’m not saying Mitch is…

I’m not saying Mitch is going to be a franchise QB but the guy has not even started a full season in the nfl and just played his first game at Green Bay with a new coach and new system.  Maybe pump the breaks on scrapping the project on him probably needs to play a bit more before that decision is made ya think

09/10/2018 - 7:48am Bears fan here, just brutal…

Bears fan here, just brutal.  Rodgers is the best QB in the league.  That team is a below 500 4 or 5 win team without him.  It’s been rough for a long time kind of rough for for both my teams to be honest.  But it was nice to see the bears actually play good football for the first time in a decade, a lot promise at least and a wide receiver or two that can actually get open and catch a pass.

1. Sustained offensive drives.

2. Improvement along the offensive line

3.  Solid game clock management

4.  Playcalling just stick with rpo and spread although you may be able to run pro against western Michigan your oline is not good enough to run that against any solid opponent.  Just work on what will help the team get better

5.  On defense no big plays

6. On defense no stupid penalties

i want ant to see a complete domination blow out and that is what I should expect the are playing western Michigan

09/08/2018 - 8:49am No I think that the defense…

No I think that the defense needs to be more disciplined and not have really stupid costly penalties and not get gashed for big plays which seems to happen a lot against good football teams

I liked him thought he had nfl potential.  He played injured end of 16 and had no oline and young wide receivers in 17.  Wish him nothing but the best not surprised by this at all

2-Weekly improvement on the offense, from top to bottom.  O-Line to Qb to WR and rbs.

3-More consistency out of the kicking game with Nordin.  And the good kind of Consistency.

4-Weekly improvement on the offense, from top to bottom. O-line to Qb to WR and rbs.

27-13. Good guys.  Defense scores a touchdown and creates 3 total turnovers the others resulting in two field goals

08/26/2018 - 8:41pm I was told that he didn’t…

I was told that he didn’t have a qb to throw him the ball.  While they did not have Tom Brady back there it didn’t matter who was they had no time.  In regards to dpj he was young and he very talented but I saw sloppy routes and not a great ability to separate from the defensive backs last year.  When Tarik was playing last year I saw the opposite. I like dpj and i assume he will be better and show growth this year.  The year under his belt will help too.  I assume we all want the same thing here I just saw what I saw

08/26/2018 - 5:26pm Really watch some tape.  I…

Really watch some tape.  I like dpj but the issue was not just the qb it was mainly the offensive line. I love how negs get thrown out just being honest.  I see what I see, you see what you see, hopefully somebody else can step up, but if tb was practicing at #1 wr from spring to now it’s a big blow.  Especially when you have 1 week to throw someone in and switch up your receiving Corp because of an injury along with a Qb who is brand new to the system and teams even if some new elements would put in which the receivers had to adjust to as well.

08/26/2018 - 4:14pm This is a huge blow.  The…

This is a huge blow.  The wide receiver corps was awful last year and he looked like the only legitimate wide receiver on our roster last year before he got hurt. I know dpj has a lot of talent and upside but the guy could not get open last year. Just stay healthy guys and come back soon Tarik.

08/17/2018 - 2:30pm I don't think it's…

I don't think it's vulnerable at all, unless I am missing something?  They are 2 to 3 deep with 4 and 5 stars at every position.  They are two deep at QB with championship level QB's the most important position.  In my opinion the SEC overall has a much larger gap in quality from top to bottom then in previous years which makes things easier for them.  The only team that should worry Saban is Georgia which is not in its division, and Ill take them 3 out 4 times against them every year.  Im not a bama fan at all, but that guy saban has built something that is almost unbeatable to a point where your shocked if they are not in the playoff its just expected.

I watch it all but the most important thing to watch in my opinion who is getting push off and winning in the trenches.  That is usually who wins.

Meyer does not stay gets a portion of his moneyand ability to coach still.  Notre Dame goes 8-5 this year and he is the head coach of Notre Dame next year.

08/04/2018 - 9:24am Yes and my wife can’t stand…

Yes and my wife can’t stand it.  I’ve been this way since I was a kid.  I played 3 sports through high school and football in college for each sport while playing I had the same routine.  The bed had to made a certain way the morning of a game, I wore and still do the same underwear on game days(they are clean, my wife throws them away without telling me after season is over) on game day now the yard must be mowed landscaped and cleaned up either the night before morning of. This is a major problem for me if it’s raining.  I have to sit in the same spot on the couch unless at the game.  While playing baseball in high school I had a lucky coin I rubbed in between each inning, during football that coin was taped to my leg with high sox covering it. On game day after school I had to go to my close friend and teammates house and it an Arby’s beef with him for home games since we won a big game after doing that sophomore year.  There is much more, and I realize that none of it has anything to do with the outcome of a game but I can’t stop.

I wish this never happened.  To be quite honest I don’t want almost every thread on a Michigan blog about urbs.  I hope their is a resolution soon and I wish it never happened I want him to stay there so Michigan can start beating his teams. I still fully believe he will end up being their coach. Don’t know why but I do and they will use this as fuel that they don’t need.  Then every game we will hear about it all game they are playing.  Just looking forward to a good season for Michigan and less breaking news stories on terrible stuff going on in college athletics

I like it with the new format. The more tough opponents the better in my opinion, you can get away with a loss or two and it’s quality.  Plus Wisconsin is pretty much going to be the West champion 4 out of 5 years shot for a potential rematch

07/24/2018 - 2:50pm on a 10 point scale I would…

on a 10 point scale I would say a 7 as of this date.  I think after this year that is going to move up to a 9.  The only game I still can't talk about or just start fuming thinking about it is the 16 Ohio Game.  That game should have not been lost.  I think the best called game of his tenure was last years Ohio game he just didn't have the horses to execute.  I believe this is the year for Jim and the team to turn the table and we beat Ohio and MSU if Shea can remain healthy and our o-line progresses and protects him.  That being said I would not want any other coach as Michigan's head coach other then the current man in charge.

07/21/2018 - 7:18pm If Michigan is healthy this…

If Michigan is healthy this year they will win the game.  If they had any kind of quarterback play last year you lose.  I do wish Jt was still here and Haskins never came in last year jt was over rated.  Good luck to you

07/20/2018 - 7:35pm I really don’t know what to…

I really don’t know what to expect this year.  I do expect the Michigan offense to not be completely inept this year.  I am hoping they have gelled and are clicking by the time they play MSU and the game.   I really hope they can stay healthy because I believe this year could be special.  I really don’t care where someone has them projected, we will find out where we are at after they play the games.  If they can get past ND, lookout. This defense is amazing and it is my belief that if you get even an above average offense this is a playoff team if healthy. Go Blue!

No when speight was healthy he was their best option. But he should have started after speight went down.

07/16/2018 - 5:27pm Ogeron is the easy answer I…

Ogeron is the easy answer I believe if he has an 8-5 or worse year.  I would have never hired Lovie Smith, but believe he has some leeway for two more years.  I’m from Chicago land area and can’t understand why u of I had not had better b-ball and football teams.  There is great talent in Chicago specifically for b-ball and Illinois itself has some good football players that they can just never seem to get, but I can only imagine Lovie sitting with a recruit.  It’s like bubba from Forrest Gump pitching you and your family.  He needs to go back to the nfl or retire.
