But DJ Khaled just gave our team ‘We The Best’ jackets.  I find the gift quite confusing. I cheer for Michigan hoops, but last place in the B1G is not the best. One could argue that it’s actually the worst.

Pete - when I read your post I immediately wondered how deeply involved DJ Khaled was, figuring one of his handlers/people came to him with a request or an idea and he simply nodded OK.

But he actually met with the team (web meeting) and probably has a pretty good idea of what's been going on this year: https://www.instagram.com/p/C3vpWHku7g7/

Maybe he's Juwan Howard's Ric Flair.  And who doesn't need a Ric Flair?

I believed in them back in October when I bought the tickets so I am taking my wife this afternoon to have brunch in A2 and see the dance team and the band (if they are there).

I do. This would take 7. However if they did pull it off, which they won't, the story would be much more about how Purdue is pulling a .... Purdue. Losing to the worst 2 teams in the conference at this point? Yikes. And it has nothing to do with conference depth. This conference isn't good

I think there's an allotment of miracles and Ohio State beating Purdue in the first game of the interim coach's tenure was the last miracle related to beating Purdue this year. If that makes sense.

Only way this team wins is if Purdue didn’t even bother practicing or scouting Michigan this week, and they just show up expecting to win just because.

Honestly, even if that happened I’d probably still expect Purdue to win. And by double digits. This Michigan team is just that bad.

I feel bad for Beilein. Every time he turns on the TV to watch this team, he has to sit there and wonder how this program, which he built to one of the most consistent and well respected programs in America, fell into the pits of Tartarus.

He has the right to flex. His teams have never lost to Howard. Not once. He might’ve lost to Beilein once in his first season, but beyond that, he’s thoroughly outclassed Michigan in head to head.

Usually they’ve been thorough ass kickings. Even when Michigan won the conference a few years back, Illinois came into Ann Arbor and put an absolute whoopin on Michigan in the COVID season.  So as far as I’m concerned, he’s earned the right to talk shit about Michigan.

His problem is just that his teams can’t do shit come tournament time.
