Oddly, I think the modifier "horribly" makes the "un" unnecessary.  If I see children who are horribly disciplined, they're usually horribly undisciplined as well.

12/24/2018 - 9:44pm Nik Stauskas.  Because he…

Nik Stauskas.  Because he was fun at Michigan, and now he's playing for my hometown Trail Blazers.  That's a plus-one.

By not being Ohio State.

12/16/2018 - 1:04pm I don't understand what this…

I don't understand what this post is saying, and I'm one of those "college graduates" (not sure why the quotation marks are necessary, but there they are).  Our basketball team had a bad day but won a game.  I had a bad day at work last week, but hey, I still got some things done, and the next day they let me come back to work again.  Don't overthink it.

Your implication is that  Graham Couch is reading the message boards on mgoblog and would notice or care if this post was deleted.  You might be as delusional as he is.

It's possible to win without cheating.  It feels good to win without cheating.  Let's win without cheating. #beilein

Not a great game, but a great coach and a great team.  Go blue!

11/24/2018 - 10:30am KansasBlue's house. …

KansasBlue's house.  Excellent potables, and everyone there is nervous.  Hoping within a few plays the nervousness will dissipate into giddy joy.

The accompanist looked like he had indigestion.

When you say Don Brown

Harbaugh says you've said it all

So I say Don Brown

Higdon lives in the endzone

11/23/2018 - 1:01pm I'm nervous, but not as…

I'm nervous, but not as nervous as Urban Meyer is.  And honestly, I don't think Harbaugh and Brown are nervous at all.  They know their players, the preparation, and the game plan.  31-10?  Please?

Or, of course, I'd take 42-7 just for historical consistency.

11/23/2018 - 12:34pm I'm not picky.  Tru AND…

I'm not picky.  Tru AND Higdon can do it.  And one by Shea for good measure.

11/22/2018 - 9:08pm Excepting the unnecessarily…

Excepting the unnecessarily snotty "I'll do the math for ya, kids", this was a reasonable essay.  Two talented squads squaring up, year after year.  Everything IS cyclical, and I think the wheels are finally turning back in our direction.  Go Blue!

11/22/2018 - 8:37pm So thankful for the Michigan…

So thankful for the Michigan fans I've met over the years (I'm neither an alum nor a resident of the state) who by their intelligence, wit, and general good natures inspired me to love the school.  I'm thankful that one of them steered me to mgoblog, where my fandom has sunk deep roots.  I'm thankful for the writers who make this a destination site for me every day, for the fellow posters who make me laugh and cringe and who share all my game-related emotions.  I'm thankful for HTTV, which is my constant companion through the season as I study each upcoming opponent.  And today, I'm especially thankful for Jim Harbaugh and his awesome team of assassin -- I mean assistant -- coaches.  Beat the Buckeyes!

Even in what you think should be obvious jest, it's never a bad idea to add the "/s".

Wow, that's some Hardy-Boys-level sleuthing.  It makes more sense than any of the other guesses I've heard.

This thread title is bizarre and unhelpful.  Other than that, it's fine.

I usually have to go to RCMB or Black Shoe Diaries for my schadenfreude.  Weird to get a dose of it here.  But man, the view from the mountaintop is so sweet after looking up from the valley for too long.

I like being happy after a football game.

11/03/2018 - 10:49am I'm drunk.

Oh, wait, you…

I'm drunk.

Oh, wait, you weren't talking to me. My bad.

31-13, the Revenge Tour makes another stop.

11/03/2018 - 9:55am What if our starters all…

What if our starters all come out wearing headbands?  Does that negate the curse?

Just kidding.  The headbands are trembling with fear.  Revenge Tour 2018!  Go blue, 31-13.

10/23/2018 - 9:02pm I can't speak for the other…

I can't speak for the other four people, but thank you for the compliment.

10/21/2018 - 9:12pm Another NICU parent here. …

Another NICU parent here.  My daughter was seven weeks early and only in NICU for 9 days.  Those units work miracles.  But it was the longest nine days of my life, and I pretty much cocooned until she came home.  Can't imagine what Harbaugh was going through -- his "mild phase" was probably a combination of a lot of things.  But welcome back, Coach!

10/21/2018 - 4:31pm Oh look, there's a picnic! …

Oh look, there's a picnic!  I'll bring the ants.  Hey, a parade!  I'll make sure it rains.  By all means, make sure that no one is happy!  We can't have happiness!

Geez.  When Harbaugh brings his first National Championship home to Ann Arbor (when, not if), I'll look for your post complaining that we're about to lose all our starters to the first round of the NFL draft, so just wait until we go 4-8 next year.  Go away.

10/16/2018 - 8:42pm I'll be so sad if we're only…

I'll be so sad if we're only up by thirty with a minute left.  I mean, yay, it's a win.  But it would feel like a run-of-the-mill stomping, while I think Sparty deserves the Rutger-esque nuclear option.  I'm thinking 67-3 sounds about right.

Can someone just go to EL and put a stake in the middle of their football field for me?

Okay, I laughed out loud at that one.

10/14/2018 - 6:34pm And if we HAD "gone after"…

And if we HAD "gone after" and perhaps gotten him, just imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth about how stars matter!  Why are we wasting our time on low-ranked recruits?!  We need four- and five-stars or we'll never win a big game!

We're winning now.  I love the players we have, and Wisconsin is welcome to their roster.  Go blue!

10/12/2018 - 10:13pm Wait, what?  There's a more…

Wait, what?  There's a more constructive use of my time?  Pshaw.  This is like the best college-level seminar course -- uniting current events, history, popular culture, and in-depth analysis.  Feels like continuing ed.

10/06/2018 - 8:13pm This day is awesome.  The M…

This day is awesome.  The M game had its frustrating moments, but man, I like being frustrated in a 42-21 win.  Just goes to show where my expectations are.  And the Sparty game threads made it so much better.  If only Indiana had poked a few more needles into their Urban voodoo doll.

09/27/2018 - 7:59am In that case, you knew you'd…

In that case, you knew you'd missed a bunch of stuff.  So...browse the last nine days of board posts before you type something in, maybe?  Try it sometime.

09/26/2018 - 7:40pm Now you've typed the letters…

Now you've typed the letters "OSU" on your keyboard.  You're doomed.

09/26/2018 - 6:13pm First of all, I still love…

First of all, I still love mgoblog, and now that I'm getting used to it, I'm on a whole lot more than I was during the summer.  Wait.  That might have something to do with football season.  NVM.  Anyhoo, I would like to humbly suggest that the site add a "Home" button to the banner.  Sometimes I've been pirouetting through the board for a while, and I decide I ought to get serious and read the front page articles.  At the moment, the only way I can find to get back there is either to close the site and reopen it, or to click "back" a million times (this is an exaggeration).  A "Home" button would be awesome.  I promise I would use it faithfully.

Geez.  Forget I said anything.  I just discovered that the MGOBLOG on the left side IS the Home button.  I just had to accidentally run my mouse over it.  It's Christmas in September!  As you were.

09/23/2018 - 9:27am OSU will score 40.

OSU will score 40.

People were hoping to see a GIANT noodle, and instead they realized it's only Scott Frost.

Well, I thought we were looking for something that wasn't "a little too revealing".  But I guess it all depends on what one wants to reveal.

I don't care if the competition was subpar.  I love seeing a Michigan win.  And now, I'm a temporary Rutgers fan.

09/08/2018 - 9:36am Thank you, Punt/Counterpunt…

Thank you, Punt/Counterpunt.  I'm a little daunted after last week, but I'm ready to put my heart on the line again.  Go blue!

09/01/2018 - 1:52pm I love this and all the now…

I love this and all the now-it's-football-season content, but I miss "Guess The Score, Win Stuff".  I never won stuff, but hey, it was fun to try.  And to see other people's predictions.  But I'm a slow learner, and I admit I'm still figuring out the new site, so maybe I missed it.  At any rate, my prediction, less than 24 hours ahead of kickoff so utterly irrelevant, is good guys 31, fig things 9.

09/01/2018 - 12:24pm We'd take it in Kansas.

We'd take it in Kansas.

Ah, Punt/Counterpunt!  The season is back, and it's a blank slate, and I'm ready for it to be incredible!  There's a little bit of that exhilarating nausea, but I like 42-10.  I like it very much.

08/31/2018 - 12:50am And then there was one.  I'm…

And then there was one.  I'm nervous and excited, and man, let's just beat everybody.  But mostly Notre Dame (until next week).

Excellent!  I was going to say Supertramp Retrospectacle.  Glad I'm not the only one looking back a few decades.

08/12/2018 - 4:50pm Until earlier this year, no…

Until earlier this year, no 16 seed had ever beaten a 1 seed in the NCAA basketball tournament.  I'm in a mood to believe, even in things that haven't happened before.  Go blue, boys!

07/23/2018 - 7:25pm Nooooooo!  The dreaded…

Nooooooo!  The dreaded double post, and no "edit" option to avoid looking like a moron!  My apologies to the Mgocommunity.  I will sit quietly for five minutes now.

07/23/2018 - 7:24pm "Why should Newsome…

"Why should Newsome jeopardize the painstaking emergency surgery, lengthy recovery, and hundreds of hours of PT just to play a few downs as a backup?"

I'm sure neither you nor I would consider it important to get back on a football field after an injury.  But as a piano player myself, if I had a hand injury that kept me from the keyboard for several years, I would give almost anything and risk re-injury if I thought there was the possibility of sitting back down and running my hands over the ivories again.  Do you feel passionately about any activity?  When we love to do something, we often go to lengths that outsiders consider foolish or unwise to participate in those activities.

Best of luck, Grant, and I hope I get to see you back on the field again, even if it IS only "to play a few down as a backup".
