Apparel: more new Jordan/Nike Michigan gear
The last time I did one of these some things happened.
Back on the horse though. It's the dog days of summer, and any Michigan thread is a good one.
$30- The little rectangles are supposed to resemble service ribbons. At least that's what I see when up close to the gear.
All of the gear has this theme for 2017. I've been to MDen a couple times in the last two months and have seen them up close.
$100- shorts have zippered pockets.
$26
$32- these hats are what the staff will wear this season on the sidelines. Not Harbaugh, obviously because he wears the Bo M.
They also came out with a khaki hat-
$45
Everything below has not yet hit MDen yet. They're getting another Nike shipment very soon and most of this stuff should be up there.
$85- Sideline polo for the staff
$55- These shorts have sold out in almost every size on Nike.com
$80
$26
$26
$95- ***I strongly recommend you buy a size up whenever buying Jordan/Nike hoodies***
$70
I bought $10 sweatpants and they're comfy AF
Some more advice: don't drag your ass.
If you see something you really want, you should probably jump on it considering how fast things go. The Blue Jordan hat with the vent holes sold out in two weeks and they didn't have another shipment until like November.
I had to go to another store to buy mine, and even they were almost sold out.

As a guy who loves wearing hats, it's definitely worth a buy at $26.
They went with a weird font on the back for some reason-
If I could have just one item that WD posted, it would be that hat.
That ruins it for me and for that reason, I'm out
Not a big hat wearer but that one is tempting. The zippered shorts are awesome too, but at $100, jeez.
what's wrong with big hats?
Me likey
Totally need to get this.
wow I hate those hats. The coach ones. That thick secondary arch looks terrible.
You mean the part in the back, right? Yeah--that is so ugly. It's like they felt like they needed to do something to distinguish these hats from every other adjustable hat known to man, but the result is terrible.
I don't understand how people that are supposed to be good at making nice things can sit around a room and say..."yeah, that arch really looks good".

This observation deserves more upvotes
and if any man who is normally XL is reading this. Stop, and order XXL for any shirts, jackets or the like. Seems like Nike tops are running smaller than in past years. Advice'd
I'm saving my $100 for a Jordan Romper.
Jordan brand Zubazz pants.
Already out.
People said I suck for wanting them back in the last apparel thread. While I was gone, I made a stop at MDen and picked them up along with another shirt.
Co-opting Detroit vs. Everybody? I'm not a fan of that.

Man, for the most part I really like how the Nike/Jordan stuff looks but the cheapskate in me can't justify spending that much for one sweatshirt, one polo, etc.
EDIT: Agree with the sentiment that the coach hats are ugly as hell.
The little rectangles are supposed to resemble service ribbons. At least that's what I see when up close to the gear.

That's pretty weird to co-opt military honors as a design element, imo.
And overall, the only item I like is the long sleeve dri-fit that is the last item (well, items, there's a maize and a blue) at the end of WD's OP. The rest is actually pretty terrible.
My wife forbids me from wearing any of this stuff since they don't offer an XL Tall. I'm 6'3" and was just so happy to be wearing Nike again I didn't care, but all the new stuff really does run too short for tall guys.
It wasn't always that way ... I have a couple long sleeve T's from the Carr era that are plenty long. I'll just keep rolling with those.
5'-5" pretty skinny guy here, checking in on the other end of the spectrum - I'd like the long sleeve crewnecks but even the size S shirts tend to be a little too baggy to look good.
(Mind you, the main deterrent remains the $4723943 price tag.)
It's in honor of former U-M President James B. Angell's role in forming scholarships from money paid out by the Chinese government to the US as a result of the Boxer Rebellion.
The China Campaign Ribbon:
/or I could be totally making up this rather unlikely connection
Does that go to the left or the right of the National Defense Service Medal on one's craptastic rack of fruit salad?
I'm afraid to buy anything online now because of the sizing clusterfuck.
This is the only thing adidas had better than Nike. Consistent sizing.
I couldn't even fit my head through the neck hole on an XL jersey.
So the wolverbear is back?
Service ribbons? If that's really what they're supposed to resemble, I find that appropriation somewhat ... inappropriate.
False equivalency
Glad someone else mentioned it. I was a little irritated with the notion of having a rack on the jerseys (if that is what it is). Didn't know how that would play out in the comments section or if I was being oversensitive. Thanks for the sanity check.

Any previews for women's line? Would only take you a few more minutes at M-Den. Thanks, WD.
