This is terrific. Thanks for the great work!

06/04/2018 - 8:16am For some reason, I think this

For some reason, I think this is not a bad take.

06/01/2018 - 7:14pm Agreed

Also, A Train had two 1000 yard seasons in the NFL (2001 and 2003) and was offensive rookie of the year in 2001.  It is true that his production diminished considerably after 2003, but I don't know if that resume exactly qualifies as "not much of a pro career."

05/26/2018 - 5:15pm Fully agree

Can we do a kickstarter for this or something?

05/26/2018 - 5:12pm It would have been viewed as bad either way

With this board. Either Harbaugh can only get generic 3 stars to commit or Harbaugh can’t out recruit the big boys for major talent. Tails you win, heads I lose.

04/05/2018 - 9:34pm More differences

I get what you’re saying, but roulette tables don’t have emotions, don’t get fatigued, don’t get injured. Athletes are not machines, they are humans, and I don’t think the statistics can quite capture the human variables.

03/26/2018 - 11:23pm Anyone else having problems buying tickets on stubhub?

I am trying to buy all sessions tickets and keep getting a message that there was a problem processing my request. Anyone know why? (Yeah, yeah, because I touch myself. But really trying to buy these tickets so my 11 year old son and I can go to the game(s).)

03/18/2018 - 11:49am The Steiner Brothers

If they are available, we have to go get them. We will easily become perennial contenders for the tag team championship, at the very least.

03/09/2018 - 3:54pm We had a really cool package

We had a really cool package of jet sweeps that we just sort of gave up on during the 2016 season. Maybe he’d bring that back? Never understood why we abandoned it....

02/25/2018 - 10:51am Duke and Coach K are the

Duke and Coach K are the worst. No insight there, but it makes me feel better to write it. It will be nice if others start to admit it and stop pretending he’s anything other than a POS.

I had 4 football players, including James Hall and Clarence Williams.

Spot on.

11/18/2017 - 4:02pm I wish MGoBlog was still powered by hamsters

So it could crash after losses and we wouldn’t have threads like this.

10/30/2017 - 11:54am Biakabutuka

I seem to remember reading a “where are they now” interview with touchdown Tim during which he said that he thought he might have to have his foot amputated during an NFL game because his injury was so bad. As others above have said, this is a tough game.

Edit: here is the article:…

Those “real fan” quotes reflect concern but are reasonably stated. That is not how most of the “concerned” posts have been stated.

10/10/2017 - 8:40am +1 Self Aware

I am proud of all of you for recognizing what you did wrong. It will make Festivus easier this year.

10/08/2017 - 10:13pm This is kind of a crazy comment

RT had O'Korn scrambling for his life last night. Ulizio didn't even slow them down.

09/26/2017 - 2:50pm Actually, the FBI does not

Actually, the FBI does not have subpoena power. In a criminal investigation, the federal prosecutor would have to issue a subpoena on behalf of a grand jury to compel someone to testify under oath. But the FBI would not be permitted to be present for the testimony, only the prosecutor, the grand jurors, a court reporter, and the witness. Probably doesn't matter for your overallpoint, but I typed it anyway.

09/23/2017 - 11:36pm Sparty No!

As is usual.

09/22/2017 - 1:08am Also

Hard to believe I have been reading this blog for so long. I remember some of these posts vividly. Congrats (and thanks) to Brian for his longevity.

09/18/2017 - 5:47am Puzzling that Michigan has

Puzzling that Michigan has had such trouble recruiting and/or developing OL, now spanning two coaching regimes. I hope these young guys develop, but I'm starting to think there's something in the water.

Then why don't you hump it?

09/01/2017 - 11:19am Super optimistic Brian

Super optimistic Brian confuses me. I felt pessimistic about this offense going into this preview (long term awesome, this year not awesome); do I need to change my opinion?

08/29/2017 - 1:54pm Avant

08/06/2017 - 1:38pm It's not so surprising that

It's not so surprising that people would hope themselves into believing Peters will start over Speight. Many of us don't trust QBs (or OL) selected by Hoke and Borges but do trust that Harbaugh has a better eye for talent and that his offensive players won't have the Hoke/Borges/Nuss stink on them. Many of us also don't think that Speight was all that great last year, not when his work is considered as a whole (and he had some stinkers pre-injury to all those who are writing some of his poor play off as solely injury related). So, it probably is unrealistic that Peters will beat out Speight, but I don't think it's wholly unreasonable to talk oneself into believing it could happen.

08/05/2017 - 5:54pm That's good, but this is better

The one that puts us up by 7 TDs on tOSU and gets the talking heads screaming that Harbaugh is a bad sport for rubbing it in.

07/10/2017 - 8:21pm Agreed

I had a hat with wolverbear on it when I was about 10 years old. An aunt recently sent me a photo of me wearing that hat (and huge aviator glasses). Then wolverbear disappeared for about 25 years. I was so happy when he came back a couple of years ago, and now this. I'm buying me that hat!

07/05/2017 - 7:14pm Fair points

But isn't that true for most RBs? Barry Sanders had a lot of negative and short yardage runs but was still elusive as hell.

Can't be!
