Based on Pitino's post-game interview with CBS sideline reporter and world-class international spy Tracy Wolfson, his post-game speech with his team was "I'm smart and you are all idiots."

Well, he's at least half right.

Great game. DJ is ice, we are rolling, and it's so fucking sweet to see Pitino's face in defeat. The development of Wagner & DJ is amazing. They were totally lost last year. I hope all recruits are paying attention. Can't wait to Thursday. Go Blue!

So sick of media crediting our play as "fate" or "effort". We’ve been labeled as a live-or-die-by-the-3 team who just held one of the best teams in the country to under 70 points and nearly matched their points in the paint, and they proved that they can produce offense beyond just one player. And it isn’t like we shot bad from three either: we made more than Louisville and off fewer attempts. We were better in offensive efficiency, WAY better in turnovers, matched an inside-out team in the paint, and still played to our strengths with well-balanced offense in terms of the distribution of points and assists. Michigan was the better team, PERIOD. This is the same trash they were saying about us all throughout the 2013 tournament, and yet we found some “unexplainable” performance by our guys to make to the championship, and now we have revenge on Louisville. Go Blue!!!!!!!

The tears of Card fans are sooo soo sweet in person.

There was one jerk who stood near us who did not have a seat in our section.  He just stood in the entry way...so incredibly annoying and no one told him to leave which I fully expected them to. He talked constantly, yelling like he was a coach for Louisville. Kept saying how Michigan was weak to try to get a reaction.  When Louisville started floundering, he disappeared real quick and never came back.

Walking into the arena and in any of the common areas, Card fans were doing their stupid annoying chants. I loved how that just disappeared.

The sour looks after their loss was the best. Majority left and didn't stick around for the Kentucky game. The few that did just sat at the tables in concourses and just glared at us. What was also a nice touch was that Kentucky fans were cheering  for us since they despise Louisville while they waited their game to start.

All their fans were incredibly annoying and arrogant. Many were talking when out to dinner about how beating Michigan would be no problem. Driving back this afternoon and listening to talk radio - all their fans were shell shocked. They feel they are basketball royalty. We handed them their asses and it was wonderful!!!!!

They are an extremely arrogant bunch and  you are so right, they truly believe they're a gift to basketball. Most are very sore losers and display incredibly poor sportsmanship even when they win. I liken them to the offspring of a one night stand involving a MSU and OSU fan.  I live in Louisville so this win is especially sweet for me. It was so beautiful to wallk into work this morning and they either avoided me at all costs or were completely silent. The ones that did say something were Kentucky fans who were nothing but glowing with praise, congratulated me on Michigan's "beautiful" win.

I was listening to numerous radio stations on the drive home as well. The shock was hilarious!

March Sadness for Louisville has returned (they called their self imposed ban last year "March Sadness") and it's joyous.

Take away our 3? OK, we got 2 bigs this time!! What a game plan; Michigan of yesteryear would've kept jacking up contested 3s. Great win - Shock the World!

Also:
Beilein: "we do things with integrity...we work our asses off"

Pitino: "we beat ourselves...they played hard...we have the potential to be a great team." Uh, not this year bitches!!

GO BLUE, F Louisville and Pitino.

what a great game.. needed everyone's contributions today and we answered the call once again!

DJ so clutch at the foul line and on D.

Loved seeing Coach attack the players with that water gun in the locker room. Couldn't happen to a better bunch of guys. Go Blue!!!

a new hero.

We are the story of the tournament, and the most fun team to watch in all of basketball!

I cannot believe how much Wagner and DJ have improved this year. They were both absolutely sensational today.

DJ looked so reed-thin and uncoordinated last year - suddenly he's smooth as silk, with sweet moves, a deadly stroke and even a pretty damn good handle - not to mention that FT shooting.

Wagner has a million post moves, and his threes bring rain!

no-good-niks.   i still can't get my mind around the fact that pitino is still allowed to attend, much less  coach, a college hoops game.

go blue.  brothelville goes down.  love it.
