Agreed. If they'd said Rashan was first team and Bush second team, I wouldn't have batted an eyelash.

I like the way AD 12 goes right for the throat.

But, did Warinner say it was good obesity, or bad obesity?

07/25/2018 - 11:27am I used Rachio for about a…

I used Rachio for about a year. Worked well, but the wi-fi connection is through their home office. Last year, there were some storms in that area, and wi-fi connectivity was disrupted for a number of days. Also, local control through the garage wall unit was not very easy to understand or use. Switched about 2 months ago to a RainMachine unit. A little more expensive, especially if you get the larger garage base. But the wi-fi connection is direct from your cell phone to your RainMachine unit (no middle man). With the larger unit, much better direct base unit control should wi-fi go out for any reason. Delighted with the increased functionality. You might want to check out RainMachine before you spring for a Rachio. They're both available from Amazon.

Tried Nest about a year, or so, ago. Never could get the thing to work right. Spent several days on the phone with their tech support folks. They confirmed everything was hooked up correctly and set right. The stupid thing kept thinking that I wasn't home and kept dropping down to the "away from home" default settings. We tried everything. A beautiful looking piece of junk. Returned it to Amazon. Finally switched to a Sensi unit by Emerson. A lot cheaper, not as sexy looking, but works just fine.

07/20/2018 - 7:08pm Seems a not unreasonable…

Seems a not unreasonable projection, given our recent QB and OL troubles, not to mention the daunting road schedule looming. If we can begin to turn the offense around, we might be able to claw our way back up to third in the B1G East, which is JH's high water mark so far, after all. Maybe move up a little more in 2019. Trying to be a realist here.

07/17/2018 - 6:39pm A lot less, even factoring…

A lot less, even factoring in the usual summer doldrums. It's probably just me, but I find it tedious to follow comments and other members responses thereto. Nowhere near as user-friendly as the old blog.

A nice thick, juicy ribeye steak. Grilled on high heat to medium rare. Only adorn with salt and pepper. Please don't ruin it with any "steak sauce."

07/09/2018 - 6:35pm I haven't had cable service…

I haven't had cable service since 2012, and no TV set at all since 2014. Just bought a 4k 55" set, and plan to Chromecast the game via YouTube TV. So a relatively new experience for me watching again at home with my black lab, Boo.

07/05/2018 - 1:34pm Thanks for posting, Sarge…

Thanks for posting, Sarge. Admire your determination. BUT. . . that trike needs a maize and blue paint job, don't you think?

Jaws (naturally), Independence Day (ditto), Lake Placid, The Great Outdoors.

Don't know if it's a good fit basketball-wise or not, but at least he's escaping the damn Rust Belt. Good luck out there, Mr. Wagner.

C'mon, does anybody really buy this crap at these ridiculous prices?

06/16/2018 - 3:22pm I've been a member for years…

I've been a member for years, yet I don't post much. But I used to visit the site numerous times during the day to see if anything exciting MGo-ish is happening. Not so much anymore. To my way of thinking, the new layout does not lend itself to easy browsing through messages and threads. I'm not a big loss to Brian and the crew. But that's just my "one-fiftieth of a dollar" view re the changes. (FWIW, the changes a year or so ago to TTB caused me to stop viewing there also.)

She must be taking her parking instructions from the second Ace Ventura movie. A Hollywood stunt driver in the making!

06/13/2018 - 6:06am Nothing but respect for what…

Nothing but respect for what Miggy has accomplished in the past. One of the all-time great Tigers. But these past few injury plagued seasons for him underscore the folly of long-term contracts for stars over 30. Albert Pujols is another example. Was never the same after the Angels bet the ranch on him, although his problem doesn't seem injury related, just deteriorating skills with age. Much better IMO to spend these large amounts of capital developing your farm system.

06/08/2018 - 5:27pm Finally made it. Gotta be…

Finally made it. Gotta be honest here: the new format has caused me some problems. Of course, my ex used to point out that I'm not the sharpest knife on the tree (or something like that). Oh well, happy Friday MGoPeeps.

06/06/2018 - 3:33pm Great news for UM and JB,…

Great news for UM and JB, both.

06/04/2018 - 8:21am Hmmmm

And just how do you know so much about their lingo? Spend a lot of time there, do you?

06/03/2018 - 3:07pm Yeah, right

Like your little butt hurt whining is going to stop the speculation. LOL

06/02/2018 - 4:51am Yep

IMHO, the very best female singer. Great vocal range, and could easily change from soft and whispery volume to belting out with the best of them.

06/01/2018 - 1:29pm Glad #33 of the D had a brain fart on this play

He was right there with Denard for the last 15 yards, or so. Should have at least attempted a tackle. Sure glad he didn't, though.

06/01/2018 - 7:00am Only 13 weeks until the ND game

I can handle that. Unofficial summer workouts will be starting soon. Hopefully, we can get some insider glimpses of how the QBs and WRs are meshing. All good stuff.

05/25/2018 - 8:46am Bang away, but...

be careful out there. The first big summer weekend. Beware the crazies who lack common sense and/or willpower.

05/21/2018 - 2:59pm But he refuses to tell anything

05/20/2018 - 6:40pm Shave it off and

have a "do" tattooed on your noggin. Just use tattoo ink that matches your hair color, and the stubble that grows back will simply add texture. Easy peasy. You're welcome.

05/17/2018 - 7:15am Way too early; way too high

Patterson admittedly has some potential, but there are far too many question marks about our offense to warrant rating him this highly. IF the OL improves and IF the young receivers make progress, our offense could be pretty good. Just too many moving pieces right now to put him in the top three for the Heisman.

05/16/2018 - 4:27am Gotta give Gardenhire some credit

At least so far, he seems to be the exact right manager for the Tigers at this early stage of their remake.

05/15/2018 - 7:24pm Similarly, Progressive Insurance monitoring me

Just switched to Progressive Insurance, and they offered the chance to lower my renewal rate if I agreed to hook up their monitor to my car's umbilical for a while. Must work something like Onstar because it records time of driving, distance, hard braking, aggressive acceleration, etc. There is the possibility that I could get higher rates if my driving exceeds certain norms. Interesting concept, though.

05/11/2018 - 10:04am Bang, Bang — and Happy Mothers Day from Florida

05/10/2018 - 4:54pm And if he doesn't win the job

does that mean the alleged value of his mobility and arm strength was a real crock? Asking for a friend.

05/05/2018 - 3:59pm So we've become a big fish

in a small, polluted pond? Thanks for depressing me. :-)

05/04/2018 - 1:35pm Best of luck, Ace

We'll miss you. And if your vocabulary and accent change, remember "y'all" is singular and "all y'all" is plural.

05/04/2018 - 9:50am Only 17 more Friday POSBANGs until the ND game!!!

But then again....

04/30/2018 - 6:15pm This is hard to believe

since JH has just recently assured us that the UM QB race is wide open. :-)

04/28/2018 - 8:45pm Hope the WRs and OL

make serious gains this year to help make the QB job easier. We should be pretty well set at RB this year.

04/28/2018 - 7:51pm He's really impressed with the D

I wonder what the Dude Crew thinks of his performance at the helm.

04/28/2018 - 3:40pm Cheer up

At least Mo was picked by the Raiders, albeit the 5th round.

04/27/2018 - 8:25pm What did you expect?

Detroit pro sports specializes in poor GMs now.

04/27/2018 - 6:21pm No more excuses

We got the QB everyone wanted. We upgraded our OL coaching. Our young WRs have more game experience. And we have El Dudo Grande directing the D. Winning the B1G East is the minimum we should expect.

04/27/2018 - 1:03pm FauxMo

You'd be ornery too if you had to talk through your nose all the time, and eat snails and frogs. Just saying.

04/27/2018 - 8:16am As they say in Paree,

Shea la vie. Translation: Woot, Woot! CFP, here we come.

04/22/2018 - 8:52pm The Tigers' farm system is the shits

This is going to be a very long rebuild. No real young offensive talent blooming. Just a bunch of hackers hoping to get to the majors by age 25, or so. Whoop-dee-doo. And I have no confidence Avila knows how to select or develop better young players.

04/22/2018 - 8:06pm No need to identify a lead QB yet

What purpose would it serve at this stage? Especially since everyone is waiting to hear about Shea's status.

04/20/2018 - 4:51pm Succinct!

04/16/2018 - 5:13pm Okey doke, I'll buckle up but

has Sam's gut rumbled any? Digusting, I know, but a pretty reliable indicator through the years.

04/15/2018 - 8:57pm Nobody would say he's terrible

We'd use the time worn meme, "The defense is always ahead of the offense early in the year." Then we'd quickly extrapolate based on the two good throws that we're on our way to the CFP.

04/15/2018 - 1:06pm Born and raised in SE Michigan

Miss it sometimes. But the shitty weather is one of the reasons why I'm very happy to be FROM Michigan.

04/13/2018 - 7:45am Happy 13th!!!!

Be careful out there.

04/12/2018 - 2:56pm Just two guys rubbing butts together

I wish this pic was left buried in the archives.
