I agree, Matt. I would have loved to have had him, but we have a bigger need at the 2 for the 2019 class (if you think Poole is a 2 or 3 year player). This will give us the scholarship to sign one, and we have a few good prospects on the line. I expect a commit soon.

If we didn’t live like rude, self-centered slobs, we wouldn’t have a cleanup problem. Movie theatres have to pay a cleanup staff to tidy up the theatre between shows. Not just to sweep up spilled popcorn, but to pick up soda cups, popcorn bags and candy wrappers left behind because it is too much trouble to drop them in the waste basket on the way out.

Grocery store parking lots are strewn with shopping carts because shoppers are too lazy to return them to nearby cart corrals.

Streets and highways are littered with trash because people don’t want their own waste messing up their vehicles so they throw it out the window and mess up the whole state for the rest of us. It makes me wonder why so many people think that we humans are so special. To say that some people live like animals is an insult to animals.

I tipped my landscaper and one other contractor. We always offer water and my wife often gives them cookies or cupcakes. I think they would appreciate cash more than a case of beer.

Ah, camping out.

‘That thing you do where you drive 5 hours north in heavy traffic so you can spend the weekend living like a homeless person.

As a kid, we had sparklers and a few fire crackers. We went to the town’s fireworks display. If you didn’t like fireworks, you didn’t have to go.

now days, everyone on the block has to put on their own fireworks extravaganza. Very inconsiderate.

Michigan State University is getting and will continue to get exactly what it deserves.

My favorite memory was at this year’s preseason selfi night. Moe was sitting on a tall stool when my wife and I approached for our photo. I said “Moe, can you stand up for this?” I wanted the full height contrast. He said “Sure” and jumped right up smiling and put his long arms around us. I will save that photo forever.

06/19/2018 - 2:32pm What continues to amaze me,…

What continues to amaze me, is how this issue is viewed so differently by so many people. Many think that Engler has done a great job (see RCMB), he settled the law suits, problem resolved, now everyone should just move on. While many others, think that very little has been done to correct the core issues and likely won’t be done under this current BOT and acting President.

a Michigan man better be the first player to score in these new zones.

Interesting to discuss, but I think the USGA got it right. He committed a violation and was assessed the required 2 stroke penalty. It may have been deliberate and dumb, but it doesn’t warrant a DQ.

So, it appears that the site has been up since sometime 6/5, but i was unable to access until just now 6/7. All I was able to see was the fab 5 and a hello post. Did I miss something?

06/02/2018 - 10:10am Tell him to run.

Run while you still can.

06/01/2018 - 8:44pm FYI. Just found out from my

dermatologist that mulch can also contain poison ivy.

06/01/2018 - 8:31pm No they can’t.

This will be resolved before any recruits make decisions. Then, when he stays at Michigan, it will be a recruiting advantage.

06/01/2018 - 6:57pm I figure another $100,000 per assistant

should about do it. And a big bonus for hanging another this season or a deep NCAA run.

06/01/2018 - 12:59pm Not so much the tie,

but the vote.

Screw you, MSU.

06/01/2018 - 12:56pm You could have said

Tom Harmon.

06/01/2018 - 12:05pm Carter and Woodson

would be the first two on my list.

06/01/2018 - 12:03pm That’s why there is an

edit feature.

05/31/2018 - 10:14pm Hard to argue against that.

She has been getting it done longer than anybody.

05/31/2018 - 10:13pm That’s Because those people are idiots

and should have been discounted at the time. Last year, Beilein won the B1G Tournament, made a deep NCAA run and signed a class with Poole, Livers and Brooks.

05/31/2018 - 2:39pm Matt, what criteria do you use

for your rankings? Is it how you would rank them as high school players, how you see them as D1 players or based on their NBA potential?

05/31/2018 - 2:33pm 247 has him ranked as the

#5 recruiter.

05/30/2018 - 4:24pm If he had left, we would have lost

four of last year’s starters. This will give us some upperclass leadership that we will need with such a young roster. Great news.

05/29/2018 - 2:21pm Filled up at a Meijer station on 5/23

at $3.199 per gallon. Filled my wife’s car yesterday at the same station, same gas grade at $2.989 per gallon. I will never understand or trust gas pricing.

Having said that, we don’t drive that many miles per year so I don’t worry about it.

05/26/2018 - 10:59pm Spent the past two days

buying and planting flowers. We have 5 flower beds and also do about 18 planters on our patio and front porch. I am switching one of the beds to perennials this year. We also do a couple of pots of herbs and four pots of tomatoes. I am doubling the tomatoes this year because I tried growing some from seeds from last year’s tomatoes. I think I started them too late (planted the seeds in late March) and I don’t think they got enough sunlight. I bought a couple of plants from the nursery as insurance.

05/26/2018 - 9:34pm Monday is the 28th.

05/24/2018 - 3:33pm I thought Bridges came back to

win a national championship.

05/23/2018 - 5:26pm I can’t stand the smug ass guy

in all the current Chevy commercials telling us how awesome their cars are.

My wife hates the Marie Osmond Nutri-system ads.

I love the All State accident forgiveness commercial with the son trying to con his parents by telling them how smart they were to buy that policy and mom says “Four weeks with no car “ and he “Okay, fine good night.”
