How does that conversation go?

Iowa Exec #1:  "So, for their signing fest, Michigan could reach into their alumni and friends-of-program to get famous people there -- Tom Brady, Chuck Woodson, Derek Jeter, Madonna, James Earl Jones, Lucy Liu, Russell Crowe, Jalen Rose... who we got?"

Iowa Exec #2: "......????"

is the sincerest form of flattery. I'm all for it. And honestly, for anyone mad about this...come on. It's not like we have a special patent to signing day parties. Look at it this way, any time someone finds success, others will always try to duplicate it. Authors make a living off self help ideas because they came up with a way that works. All this says is that it works! Put this up in Jim Harbaugh's biography someday. Also, we are on year TWO! Last year the event had some hits and some misses but generally the event planners are able to plan for and adjust accordingly. Anyone trying to do something similar will experience their own struggles in the inaugural campaign and while other schools try to duplicate all of this, your great leader is coming up with something even more amazing for next year. Enjoy the event, Hawkeyes.
