05/09/2018 - 3:50pm Big Ten titles matter as well

Big Ten titles matter as well and you aren't getting that without winning the division. Watching people try to spin third place finishes in our division is sad. Have some pride.

05/08/2018 - 12:30am I don't have to present a

I don't have to present a case. Either you want to get to championship caliber level or not. And obviously, you are in the not category. Because they might make the playoffs as I have already said on here. If the 7th or 8th seed is what you're looking for, then they are right where you want them because that is where they will be at best for a while. They aren't winning on a big scale without elite shooting and certainly not with Drummond as the focal point. So yeah, we'll see alright.

05/07/2018 - 11:07pm That and $2 will get ya....oh

That and $2 will get ya....oh fuck it....nevermind. It's pointless. How many playoff wins? Oh zero? Got it.

05/07/2018 - 4:51pm Nope. What they did worked

Nope. What they did worked already. People are excited about the 76ers future and they are getting close now to breaking out as they go through the normal growth an eventual champion does. The Pistons are destined for a decade of nothing with an empty arena on top of it. So, I hope they do exactly what the 76ers did instead of this garbage they have going now.

05/07/2018 - 4:47pm You're living in fantasy land

You're living in fantasy land if you think the Pistons are ever going to do anything with a "big three" that has Griffin and Drummond and Reggie in it. Period. This team will never even be relevant with that plan. Blow it up completely and start over or enjoy a decade of empty seats and 7th or 8th seed finishes at best.

02/16/2018 - 12:10am That's not how this works. It

That's not how this works. It isn't the NCAA investigating. This is a federal corruption case. They don't give a rat's ass about the basketball prestige of Duke and UNC. If they did, this would have already been swept under the rug. It has not.

02/16/2018 - 12:05am Plenty is going to happen

Plenty is going to happen from this. The Feds don't fuck around. People are going to jail over this.

02/08/2018 - 8:14pm This is a dumb-ass take.

This is a dumb-ass take. Nobody quit on the team.

02/08/2018 - 8:05pm How about we wait to win some

How about we wait to win some fucking games next season first before you go telling anyone to STFU.

02/08/2018 - 10:20am If it's 20th out of 128 it

If it's 20th out of 128 it seems like a B would be appropriate based solely on that percentage. Maybe they are grading on a curve or something. /s

02/08/2018 - 10:11am As you said, the article is

As you said, the article is factually true.

02/07/2018 - 1:34pm I agree with you mostly but

I agree with you mostly but Philly just proved in the Super Bowl that there is a place in the league for the same type of plays.

02/07/2018 - 1:19pm I have never bought in to

I have never bought in to this silly argument that if Harbaugh can't do it, no one can. That is lunacy. There are a lot of good coaches that win championships or compete at a high level. Jim Harbaugh is one of them (except for the championships part) and there are many more. This fatalist attitude is werid and doesn't line up with common sense.

Right now he is still the guy for the job but last year during the season people on here were talking about (and many encouraging) a lifetime contract. That take didn't age very well so far.

02/07/2018 - 1:05pm Lazy take. Fans are just as

Lazy take. Fans are just as passionate at many other schools and criticism doesn't mean the sky is falling.

02/07/2018 - 1:01pm sum1valiant-The facts don't

sum1valiant-The facts don't line up with YOUR narrative. No matter how many times you tell others to relax or refer to them as "the sky is falling crowd," it doesn't change the results. It's a disappointment of a recruiting class no matter what the spin.

02/04/2018 - 11:05pm I suspect you're right. They

I suspect you're right. They seem to just fill in every spot with ease normally anyway.

02/04/2018 - 10:57pm Brady won't get another one.

Brady won't get another one. That defense is not athletic enough and both OC and DC are leaving at the same time. The Patriots will be decent because they are the Patriots but they are 5-3 in Super Bowls, so not a guarantee if they get there at all.

02/04/2018 - 10:48pm Good move for Doyle. Any

Good move for Doyle. Any decent QB would say no thanks to a prep school year. He can go play somewhere with ease and have a better chance to see the field early. Best move for both parties really.

02/04/2018 - 10:20pm Hell yeah! Fuck the Patriots.

Hell yeah! Fuck the Patriots. Good for Brandon Graham

01/31/2018 - 12:11am True Stringer Bell, and the

True Stringer Bell, and the only reason we got that over .500 win is because they won a bowl game. We were bad and it's okay to say that but some around here are still living in a past that really never was.

01/29/2018 - 7:29pm That's still not a good

That's still not a good number.

01/27/2018 - 11:47pm Better think again. This is a

Better think again. This is a national story and it just depends on how much traction it continues to get. Dantonio's hardass act may work in football circles but it won't fly with many around this country who won't take kindly to football being placed above the lives of sexual assault victims.

They should all go.

01/27/2018 - 5:33pm Yeah yeah yeah. We know. Next

Yeah yeah yeah. We know. Next year. New slogan should be: Those who stay....will be here next year.

Hollis expected to resign today too now.

01/21/2018 - 12:15pm Go Jags. I know I am in the

Go Jags. I know I am in the minority on here but I don't like the Patriots and I am tired of the same old storylines of slobbering all over the "Patriot way" and over Belichick and Brady. They deserve the credit they have gotten but I would be happier to see someone who hasn't won yet get that adulation. Getting another one for Brady won't change anything. He is already the GOAT. But I don't think (as many here seem to) that it is an obligation to root for him because he went to Michigan, as if by him winning these Super Bowls is some kind of validation. Ultimately, they may win, in part because of the Gronkowski mismatch potentially, but GO JAGS!

And on the other side, I can't root for a division rival to win and get to play on their home field for a Super Bowl.

01/20/2018 - 11:41am Jags and Vikings. Defensive

Jags and Vikings. Defensive showdown in the Super Bowl.

Fournette has a good day as well as Jalen Ramsey. And Nick Foles against the Minnesota defense? Not buying him to get it done.

01/19/2018 - 2:47pm Holy shit. I knew it was bad

Holy shit. I knew it was bad but damn, that is pathetic.

01/19/2018 - 2:45pm That would be good. But don't

That would be good. But don't be fooled. Haskins looks like a better player than Barrett so it better be outstanding QB play.

01/19/2018 - 2:42pm It's not irrelevant. And I'm

It's not irrelevant. And I'm so tired of correcting you on this that I am not putting up the links and numbers anymore. It's futile to do so because you always come back and say the same shit.

01/18/2018 - 6:52pm Common sense with a little

Common sense with a little research will get someone to 70%.

01/17/2018 - 2:39pm No thanks. Wait until he

No thanks. Wait until he retires. It's just creepy before that.

01/16/2018 - 2:43pm Nope. Trying to recreate a

Nope. Trying to recreate a running game with backs like Abdullah and Love in the NFL is dumb. Guys like Gurley and Fournette are where it is at. That means not trying to recreate Barry Sanders or run guys who get put on the ground with any contact. Both of the Georgia backs are better suited for the NFL. Obviously Barkley as well but he will be gone right away.

01/09/2018 - 11:40am The facts do not line up with

The facts do not line up with this argument.

01/05/2018 - 6:11pm It only makes sense to have

It only makes sense to have one LOL by the way. You realize it doesn't actually represent the sound but is an acronym right? Now if you had typed hahahahaha that would be different.

01/05/2018 - 6:07pm As long as whoever isn't

As long as whoever isn't calling any more play action passes on 3rd and long while down in the 4th quarter I'm fine with it.

01/05/2018 - 6:05pm Same here. One guy calls all

Same here. One guy calls all plays. That's all you need. Having more than one of any of them is dumb. They are one man jobs.

01/05/2018 - 6:00pm Well that constant stream of

Well that constant stream of Ohio players that seem to be ending up in East Lansing have done pretty well against us. How about we focus on beating them and winning our league first before we jump the gun on the whole Bama/Georgia thing.

01/05/2018 - 5:57pm This is false. Misdirection

This is false. Misdirection is a HUGE part of offensive football. And our execution has been terrible by the way. So yeah, creativity is important and has been lacking.

01/05/2018 - 5:46pm I'm with you. It seems to the

I'm with you. It seems to be the hot take of the moment to say that Gruden couldn't coach. I can see people having an issue with him being away from the game for as long as he has been but really even that is a bad argument because it's coaching. You don't forget how to coach. It's not like the world passes you by.

Get real. The guy accomplished more in the NFL than our beloved coach Harbaugh did and the pay isn't that much different now. JH, if he is making $9 million a year basically would make only $10 million less over that span. He has never won a Super Bowl but Gruden has. Whether you like it or not, there is a premium that comes with being champion. As far as the argument he took Tony Dungy's team and won with it, so the fuck what? The facts are the facts. The trophy was his. Tony Dungy wasn't calling those plays or giving the halftime speeches. So it just doesn't hold water.

The same people who want to give a lifetime contract to guy who hasn't won a championship are ripping on the Raiders who just made a fucking A+ marketing decision that will pay that money back and then some for bringing back a guy that has turned himself into a brand and who also has that said championship. Jesus, sometimes people here amaze me.

01/04/2018 - 12:57pm Nope. You're right. But I

Nope. You're right. But I didn't say that he was the answer to all of our problems. I just said we should have kept him instead of what happened. He is a decent lineman. Instead of keeping a highly rated good lineman, it turned into a negative story and our OL has looked like shit. So they were wrong on that one and I hope they acknowledge it at some point. He is going to be a starter on that team, a team coming off a playoff appearance.

Go back and look at the way people on here were talking about him at the time. There was a lot of negativity toward anyone questioning the move as I recall.

01/04/2018 - 10:38am Beat one team with a winning

Beat one team with a winning record and only because Purdue got the bowl game win. Those are also results. So we're basically the Lions. Congrats

01/04/2018 - 10:36am Should have kept Swenson in

Should have kept Swenson in my opinion. That move hasn't aged well.

01/04/2018 - 10:31am 1. I didn't say he was a blue

1. I didn't say he was a blue chip.

2. I just gave you what he was coming out of high school.

3. What is considered a blue chip? If it is 5 stars only, then there are only just over 30 of those each year. Is a 4 star one of those? I guess I don't know what the definition is. In a general sense, I don't consider him a blue chip either because that insinuates a can't miss player I would think, but I'm not sure it's a case of making some nobody into a great player by the coaches either. Consider this: The 247 Composite 4 stars went all the way down to #342. And there is around just over 92,000 college football players within all levels combined. Even if only 25% of those are freshman, that means Hudson would be in the top 1.68% of those 23,000 at #386.

Sounds blue chipish, no? HAHA. I'm just fucking with you now. But seriously, he was great coming out of high school, not some project. Anyone who watched him in high school knows that he is basically the same player.

01/04/2018 - 9:53am I lost track of the number of

I lost track of the number of excuses in your comment. Well, to be more precise, I stopped counting after 6.

Tuebor was right. We're Iowa right now. They are in an easier division. You're right about that. But we have advantages they don't have too, like not being in fucking Iowa.

So, it seems you need to get a grip instead of the other way around.

01/04/2018 - 9:40am Always with the refs. Jesus,

Always with the refs. Jesus, it's like a fucking sickness. The refs didn't decide the MSU game.

01/04/2018 - 9:36am The "we'll never have another

The "we'll never have another Daddy like Jim" argument isn't valid anymore. I have been a Harbaugh guy as much as the next but I'm tired of seeing this played-out bullshit of an argument on here like some kind of codependent lover. "Oh no, nobody will ever love us like Jim. Nobody will ever want to be with us." GTFOH. So nobody will want to coach at a university for millions of dollars where you can perform at an average level to slightly above average and not really win any big games? Nobody decent will want that job? Really? That's what you're going with now?

And seriously, anyone who says Gruden or Saban as if that would be the standard for someone to win is an idiot. There are a lot of guys out there winning as much or more than Harbaugh right now.

You build someone up to be a messiah, then this is what you get. Stop acting like everyone is calling for him to be fired. It just isn't true. Some of us just don't worship him like some kind of cultish idol. He is a football coach and a good man, a great leader and role model. And yet, still an employee who must get evaluated.

01/04/2018 - 9:19am If you're talking about

If you're talking about Khaleke, he played in the Semper Fi All-American game. He wasn't some developmental project. He was the #15 safety on 247 as a 4 star national rank of #316. He was #386 on the composite (and one of the highest 3 stars).

01/03/2018 - 10:00am We didn't play North

We didn't play North Carolina.

01/03/2018 - 9:51am Read the history of the

Read the history of the Pistol offense and how it developed because of the need to adapt to a quick running back and tall/slow QB. Read about Michael Taylor and the Shotgun I. It's meant to be used as a versaitle offense, not strictly for the purpose of the option.
