"No Ted, that's not a problem at all.  I was going to kick my wife out anyway and my daughter looks more like you than me, which has also made me questions some things.  Take them both."

Yes...probably Trubisky, too.  Thanks, Shoes.

Logged in to reply to this comment.  First of all, Stafford does not belong on that list, not even a consideration.

Secondly, I'd take Baker over Keenum, Cousins, Newton, Ryan, Foles (and probably Wentz we'll see)...that makes Baker #10.  And yes, they'll probably be in the playoffs twice, before the Lions get there.

A role player, on three different basketball teams vs Tom Brady's 18 years on the same team, as the starting QB, 9 Superbowl appearances, 6 SB trophies and 4 SB MVP trophies

Terrible comparison.

The game is going on right now...and he's wearing the Michigan helmet.

I'm so sick of this entire discussion.  "But scouts will be there...practices and drills".  Whatever.  This game is a joke and he's getting limited carries and certainly nothing to change any perceptions from his previous film.

However, he certainly could have been a team captain and completed the season with his team.  There was an opportunity to put up decent numbers (100+ & 1 or 2 TDs) against a top 10 SEC team.

But yeah, exhibition game.  What a joke.

Meanwhile, the Duke QB just rushed in a short yardage TD for the North.  Great decision, Higdon.  Neg away.

Well...Gattis was his primary recruiter at PSU, so this isn't exactly just a random transfer report.

Because of those tweets?  No.  I don't see that.  Seems like some kids frustrated that their playing time didn't work out the way that they expected.

He's gathering Intel.

11/18/2018 - 11:48am I'm kind of done with the …

I'm kind of done with the "what would UCF do" argument.  What they have done is pretty much nothing...beat a lot of bad teams.  Good job, but not even an 8-team CFP prospect.

11/18/2018 - 11:45am Their schedule is their…

Their schedule is their fault, their weak conference is their fault.  You get to the CFP, with the best resume...not being undefeated after playing no one.

11/18/2018 - 11:41am They have to create a lower…

They have to create a lower accomplishment (7-win team), because UCF doesn't have a resume with the higher, ranked teams accomplishment.  Michigan will have 5 wins over ranked teams, two on the road, one a top-10.  UCF will have one.  It's absurd to even suggest that UCF should be in the conversation, with that weak schedule.

Okay...no more talking, MGlob is getting tired of it.

11/13/2018 - 9:15am Oklahoma is 83rd in scoring…

Oklahoma is 83rd in scoring defense, giving up 30 a game and has yet to win against a top-25 opponent.  The committee is not going be torn between them and a balanced Michigan team that wins out and has beaten 5 top-25 teams, one of those a top-10 team on the road.

11/05/2018 - 3:44pm I just don't agree that this…

I just don't agree that this is how it is.  You go about this as though it's some big negative to the kid, when the reality is that Michigan is a championship level program that offered the kid.  Now, I'm sure that they have been in constant communication and when he committed, I'm sure that he understood that there were kids higher on the board that might potentially make his offer uncommittable.  He can now take the elevated pub and ratings and move on to another program.  That's just the way that it works, much like the kid that sits in Michigan's queue, until the offer from Stanford comes through.  It's all part of the process and I simply don't see anything wrong with it.

11/05/2018 - 3:30pm "State always plays osu…

"State always plays osu tough"...until they don't.  Wasn't it 48-3 last year and Mike D has never beaten them in EL.  Having said that, I do think that it'll be a fairly close game, within 10-14.

11/05/2018 - 3:20pm This really isn't that…

This really isn't that difficult to understand.  There is no "redefining", but the idea that you can't expect a defender running full speed to determine if the hand is being waved to point out blockers or to call a fair catch. Pretty simple...the return team needs to understand their blocking assignments prior to the play or the returner can point them out, after he catches the football.

11/05/2018 - 3:17pm I think that's kind of the…

I think that's kind of the point.  Players running full speed aren't in position to distinguish between a fair catch wave or a pointing out blockers wave.  No hairs to split here, the hand comes up like that, it's a fair catch signal.

11/05/2018 - 3:13pm If the launching wasn't…

If the launching wasn't there, I'd agree with this.  However, when you add the launching to the defenseless player, the contact to the head means targeting to me...even if it's not as forceable as the shoulder contact.  He launched himself directly into the shoulder/head area and made helmet to helmet contact...that was targeting.

11/05/2018 - 3:10pm The re-kick wasn't a…

The re-kick wasn't a touchback.  Hamler fielded the ball on the 5 or so and was tackled at the 15, so it was really a loss of 20 yards.

11/05/2018 - 12:24pm If Harbaugh is really trying…

If Harbaugh is really trying to preserve Milton's redshirt, Peters coming into the PSU game means NOTHING.  The QB that gets significant time at Rutgers will let you know which is the real backup.

I will leave my voice in the stands!!

11/01/2018 - 12:15pm The downvotes are coming,…

The downvotes are coming, because you suggested that ANY team that goes undefeated, regardless of schedule or competition, should be given an opportunity to play for a championship...which is absurd.  They do compete for a championship, their conference championship and based on the schedule that they have put together and played, that is the only championship that they deserve to play for.

11/01/2018 - 11:58am I'm trying to understand…

I'm trying to understand your point:

2009 - Lost to Texas 35-3 and Miami 27-7

2010 - Lost to NC State 28-21

2011 - Lost to FIU (Boston College was 4-8)

2012 - Lost to OSU 31-16, Lost to Missouri 21-16

2013 - Lost to South Carolina (in Orlando) 28-25, beat PSU (a team that finished 7-5)

2014 - Lost to PSU (in Ireland) 28-24, lost to Missouri 38-10

2015 - Lost to Stanford...actually, they lost every game that year.

2016 - Lost to Michigan 51-14, Lost to Maryland (in Orlando) 30-24

2017- Won at Maryland

So, just a quick glance at those game and I don't see a "UCF has proven they can beat you on any given day".  Maryland?  Come on, you must be kidding.  Power 5 schools aren't the ones doing the "learning" here or creating a trend.  If anything, UCF is changing the teams that they put on their non-conference, because history has proven that they simply can't beat Power 5 teams.

11/01/2018 - 11:39am If you don't play anyone,…

If you don't play anyone, going undefeated isn't all that impressive...when you are in a non-power five conference.  The UCFs of the world could easily rectify that problem, go on the road and play someone during the non-conference schedule.  THAT is the solution and if the retort is that they can't get a home and home, I have no sympathy for them, because they shouldn't get a home and home.  UCF plays in a NP5 conference, they don't get the benefit of home and home with p5 conferences.  If NP5 schools what a legitimate chance at the CFP, go play PSU or Wisconsin, LSU or Auburn, Clemson or Florida State.

The NFL comparison is ridiculous.  Can you imagine telling a portion of the NFL owners, "We'll hold your draft next week, this week these 12 teams are going to draft all of the best players first"...because that is what happens in the NCAA and UCF is playing against schools that have teams created from that 2nd (or 3rd) draft.

Thursday would be the first day that I would start looking at a weather forecast.  That forecast will change several times between now and then.

I'll add to this that when the penalties were finally called, everyone cheered (not booed), to demonstrate that we didn't care.

10/12/2018 - 6:30pm Not to mention, Harris had…

Not to mention, Harris had an announcement date scheduled and canceled it.  If you don't want to read into it, don't...but it does seem that the kid has a lot of interest in Michigan.

08/19/2018 - 11:14am Cheap is not a replacement…

Cheap is not a replacement word, it is the correct word to use, because it was a cheap shot.  Say it was a "legal" block all you want, it was a cheap shot.

All of the other nonsense that you spouted about intent to injure, bad luck and calling bullshit...well that is like your opinion man...and all bullshit.

Don't tell a guy that calls something cheap, that he really meant illegal, just so that you can frame your argument around.

07/02/2018 - 6:06pm I don't by the 9-3 or 8-4…

I don't by the 9-3 or 8-4 narrative.  To me, those predictions come from not knowing how much the OLine has developed, not knowing whether Patterson is going to be that dynamic playmaker.

If you assume both of those things are going to happen, then anything less that the winner of the OSU game advancing to the B1G title game will be a HUGE disappointment

06/30/2018 - 1:43pm Michigan isn't going to…

Michigan isn't going to compete at OSU's level in recruiting, until they start beating them.  So all of this handwringing about it is absurd.  This kid isn't a "promising 3 star".  This kid is a 4-star talent with higher upside, that hasn't been placed properly by recruiting services, because he hasn't been playing football long enough.

I would suggest that fans let the former NFL player and Super Bowl coach do the talent evaluating and not worry so much about "stars".

I'm all concerned now.  Some guy on a board named Bluey is worried about the numbers of stars being recruited by an NFL coach.  SMH

Like Harbaugh needs to wait for someone to tell him a guy is worth recruiting.

06/24/2018 - 10:56am "Well the last part isn't…

"Well the last part isn't funny, it's just depressing."

Yeah, I'm convinced that you are depressed. /s  Resorting to scouring CBs and potential offers to find "negative" news...that part is funny.

SOS will only be helpful when competing for the 4th CFP spot against other conferences, not against an OSU team that they've lost to.

As a fan, I'm not looking for a strength of schedule insurance policy.  If Michigan wants a CFP birth over OSU...beat them in Columbus.

06/10/2018 - 12:30pm 2 wins yes, win streak no. …

2 wins yes, win streak no.  Two years ago, the LBs were exploited and Michigan was demolished.  It would have taken an exceptional QB to overcome that.

Having said that, a slightly above competent QB last year and Michigan has a 10-11 win season.

05/08/2018 - 9:16am If I'm Tom Brady...

05/03/2018 - 3:41pm That's just

04/07/2018 - 8:29am These are the things I wish for...

A fan of a team that was bounced by the play-in team, saying 2nd place. Oh, please let that happen to me by one of my Sparty friends or family!

03/10/2018 - 4:13pm Set an alarm

...or don't. I've never understood this idea that ANY program is dependent upon the signing of one 18 (or 22) year old kid.

Shea is about to be as impactful as any one player could be. Gary is a beast. Winovich, Solomon, Hudson, Bush...Hill and Long, Higdon and Evans, DPJ and Black. My goodness, there is a lot to be excited about, regarding this team. If you still need a wake-up call, maybe you could use the sleep.

03/10/2018 - 4:03pm This...

03/08/2018 - 10:33am I guess that is better than
