03/05/2018 - 10:12am I wonder who will be

I wonder who will be developing MSU's players after this offseason. I have a feeling more will come from the FBI/Nasser fallout and will be really surprised if Izzo still has a job next season.

Oh . . . so it's that kind of site. I can't get on those at work ;)

03/02/2018 - 2:18pm I'd like to give them credit,

I'd like to give them credit, but they're also responsible for this . . .

03/02/2018 - 1:22pm It's worth it for Chicago

It's worth it for Chicago style dogs though. Plus I'm pretty sure the blue dye used in slushies destroys cholesterol. That's what I tell myself anyway.

03/02/2018 - 1:19pm They were doing some kind of

They were doing some kind of active shooter drill, which is fine (would have been nice to be notified, but whatever). My problem is with the teacher sharing her fears with the students. I agree about the news. We don't have TV or internet in the house, so I don't have to worry about that!

03/02/2018 - 12:48pm My third grader is afraid

My third grader is afraid because her teacher told the class she would be afraid if she were a kid today. Thanks for that nugget of wisdom. I'm just glad my daughter talked to me about it so I can talk her through the issue.

03/02/2018 - 11:08am The core of the problem is we

The core of the problem is we think we should be in control of our lives and we really aren't. People react differently when this fact becomes apparent in their life. Some people want to buy guns for protection, some want to ban them for a sense of security, and some want to use them to try and solve their frustration.

02/26/2018 - 11:25am This is a really classy and

This is a really classy and thoughtful move. Good for Bohannon. I still think Cal Ripken Jr should have done something similar and tied Gehrig's record and then removed himself from the lineup the next game. After all, Gehrig couldn't control the fact he had to retire because of ALS.

02/12/2018 - 9:52am The great thing about this

The great thing about this guy is... he'll caddy 18 holes for you in the afternoon... take him home and make a mean curry stew out of him later that night.

02/12/2018 - 9:47am Baaaaad.

Baaaaad.

Sorry, I had a long weekend.

How's your coaster level and elbow bend?

02/07/2018 - 11:01am I'd say it's more like

I'd say it's more like winning is hard to turn down. Simple as that.

02/02/2018 - 4:30pm I appreciate your

I appreciate your perspective. I don't mean that I literally don't trust anyone. Our girls go to public school and do gymnastics and we get together with friends and their kids all the time. We leave them for short periods with our moms and I'm sure they will eventually have sleepovers, etc.

02/02/2018 - 2:24pm Very true. I was abused by

Very true. I was abused by someone in my dad's bowling league. I have a feeling I know who it was, but I've blocked out the face probably out of self preservation. I was also repeatedly beaten up by my babysitter's older son, which my mom refused to believe until he finally gave me a black eye (to answer the OP's question, it sucks when your parents don't believe you). A different babysitter whipped me and basically told me men were evil, but her dad was her grandpa so she was sorting through her own issues. My dad was also at the least inappropriate and I don't want to imagine what the worst case could have been with my older daughter while he was supposed to be helping my wife on bed rest with my younger daughter. Now I don't trust him even in a room alone with them, which simultaneously breaks my heart and pisses me off. Unfortunately, I could go on. So yeah, don't trust people you should be able to trust with your kids.

01/31/2018 - 2:41pm I hate it when my schwartz gets twisted.

01/26/2018 - 9:21am I feel you.

Youth is wasted on the young.

01/26/2018 - 9:17am Should've eaten more of this ;)

01/26/2018 - 8:31am This week sucks.

Lost a really good friend to cancer last night. She was 39 and leaves a husband and 3 young sons. She was a great example of God's love to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed but her testimony will carry on through all of us who loved her.

01/25/2018 - 2:25pm If the coaches are really

If the coaches are really trying to sell kids on how this would've, could've, should've worked, I think we have the answer to why we are sucking hind tit on the recruiting trail.

01/25/2018 - 1:09pm I completely agree. Blue-chip

I completely agree. Blue-chip recruits just want to win in college. I don't think they really care about system because they believe their talent alone will get them to the NFL. I'm not saying this is wise thinking, but try explaining that to a 17 or 18 year old.

01/23/2018 - 10:05am Athens >>> Oxford, but that's

Athens >>> Oxford, but that's coming from a proud OU grad so I may be a bit biased. Also, best of luck to Alex except when he plays my Bobcats!

01/16/2018 - 12:50pm Definitely utility and ease

Definitely utility and ease of maintenance. I want as few bells and whistles as possible because that's just more stuff to break. I'd love for anyone but the Europeans to make a mid to full size station wagon. A real wagon, not a hatchback they're trying to sell as a wagon. My wife's '99 Passat is getting to an age where putting more money in it makes no sense. She still loves it, but she doesn't have to take care of it. Bring back the Camry and Accord wagons please! I'd also take the Fusion wagon they sell overseas.

01/10/2018 - 12:33pm His primary recruiter is

His primary recruiter is Partridge too. Hopefully this isn't foreshadowing of more bad news.

01/09/2018 - 3:26pm His dad went by Rick. I think

His dad went by Rick. I think Dick would fit the son perfectly. What a disgrace.

01/04/2018 - 12:32pm Weren't people on this blog

Weren't people on this blog calling for Michigan to back the Brinks truck up to Chris Partridge's house just this week? If the guy's skills demand that type of salary, so be it.

01/03/2018 - 3:55pm Meyer got a bit of a head

Meyer got a bit of a head start at OSU. Don't forget that the NCAA allowed him to bring his coaching staff just to recruit while Fickel finished the season as head coach. OSU should have faced at least a slight downturn in recruiting. Instead, Meyer and his new staff had a full two months to focus just on recruiting.

Welcome Ronnie! I like the guy in the vertical video that's going to draw the charge until Ronnie's knee is in his face and then thinks better of it.

12/08/2017 - 3:53pm This probably isn't even

This probably isn't even about anyone at MSU liking Nassar. His reputation as a doctor brought the university prestige and money, which seems to have bought him a very long leash. Hopefully we'll find out who was holding that leash so that justice can be given to the victims.

12/08/2017 - 3:37pm I'm not sure I can ever crack

I'm not sure I can ever crack another Kirk Ferentz joke after seeing him tear up in that interview. I cannot imagine the heartbreak he shared with his son's family through that tragedy. Stories like this remind me how the most important aspects of sport often involve stories off the field.

12/07/2017 - 9:03am Happy Birthday to you both!!!!!

11/22/2017 - 11:14am Ok, I have to ask since I

Ok, I have to ask since I have two daughters. If my daughters decide to have a small wedding and spend the money on whatever else, it's still my money they're spending right?! Am I missing something here? How about they just don't have a giant wedding and I save some cash. Is that asking too much?

11/16/2017 - 10:14am Thanks. Any day I can make

Thanks. Any day I can make someone laugh is a good day!

11/16/2017 - 9:15am At least Purdue let Wilton

At least Purdue let Wilton ride shotgun in the van on the way to the hospital. That's putting him first in my book.

11/16/2017 - 9:12am Walton needs to Regulate

Walton needs to Regulate those turnovers if he wants to roll in the G league.

11/15/2017 - 3:04pm I think Long scores on that

I think Long scores on that interception return if he follows Uche's block to the sideline. How fast is Uche that he was out in front on that play? He is going to be scary good.
