So Nebraska is Rocky?

Will they be replacing their 2 embarrassing Pedo-mascots with Cuff & Link?

I'd appreciate this coaching staff a lot more if they actually would call that play some time.

McDonalds is an ok Metaphor,
but I'd rather go with the Applebees/Chillis out on the hwy business-spur/mall parking lot of AnyTown USA.  They are interchangeable with each other as well as each location.  If you would like a generic whiskey bbq burger (with Applewood smoked bacon®) on an "artisan" bun served by a disinterested drone sporting the bare minimum amount of required flair, then welcome to the NFL.

I watch the Lions while wearing a ball-gag.

You've never known such synergy.

09/16/2018 - 1:30pm I'm just copying & pasting…

I'm just copying & pasting what I posted in the coaching snowflake thread about having Evans in there in a less than effective role.

The problem as I saw it was that they had a game-plan to run the ball with Higdon.

His style, as in bruising down-hill tackle breaking running.  Mostly 1 cut & go.

Evans is fantastic, but he is NOT that type of a runner.  He's much more of a juker, open field make-you-miss type of running back.  Thats why he's often so effective later when the opposing D is bruised & tired from facing Higdon.

If you watched Evans closely you saw him juke and cut at least twice before he even made it to the line of scrimmage.  With our bad O-line the holes are CLOSED BY THEN!

Higdon out was a last minute decision and you don't change your game plan then you just plug in a new piece.

I'm not happy about a lot of this game (coaching, D, penalties, etc.) but I think thats why Harbaugh inexplicably used Evens to run into the line over & over for the first half of the game.

Tru is much more Higdon-like than Evans-like, and I think his effectiveness later was very apparent.

I don't think Tru is "better" just a different kind of back  and they all have their place in the offense.

09/13/2018 - 5:17pm I've made those stripped…

I've made those stripped-down chicken leg things a few times.

1.  They are absolutely delicious.

2. EVERYONE raves about them.

3.  They are a huge fucking pain in the ass to make (pulling the meat down the bone) I always seem to stab myself in the hand at least 3 times.

Hasn't "it's always Marcia" been around since April?  (but I guess Sky Panther joined in March so who knows)

The posting history is a bit ass-hat-ish, but it doesn't look that troll-er-y I guess.

I'm all for banning trolls, I just don't see how you decide who unless its "feelings".

Would love some new recipes.

The most serious issue for me is that their annoying attention-getting-bullshit is taking away from my endearing attention-getting-bullshit.

Thats got to stop.

09/13/2018 - 10:36am Another aspect of "Academics…

Another aspect of "Academics" is the support the players receive.
What kind of academic study center is provided, how many & how good are the tutors?  24/7?
This doesn't necessarily mean "who will do my homework for me?" although in some cases I'm sure it does.

Michigan being such a prestigious university can also be a double-edged sword; it can be a little bit intimidating for some kids.
They may love the idea of a Michigan degree, but how the hell are they going to pass classes and succeed on the football field at the same time.  They must be convinced that the degree IS important, and that the school will do everything (legally & ethically) to help them.

There are a lot of factors and definitions for different players in the simple word "Academics".

No, No, you're thinking of 47 Ronin. You know that movie about the serial bomber (Rufus) who's actually the antichrist, and Keanu defeats him by swallowing the blue pill.

How terribly unfortunate for you.

I just want you to know that I have prided myself in teaching my kids to be inclusive and accepting off all people, no matter what their differences are, no matter what kind of "lifestyle" they choose to live.
I'm not saying it was easy, or particularly comfortable to talk about it but thats what being an adult is.
If your kids ever see that sort of thing on your computer screen, just relax, be honest and direct and say.

"yes, some people actually DO ride around in boats".

Very good game, nice lak of penalties on O.  Agree on riding the RB horses when they're working; & they didn't abandon the passing game.

O-line looks improved on the run (opponent caveats aside) but still concerning in pass pro.

Quarterbaks look good, love the mobility.

09/08/2018 - 9:37pm Yeah Eskridge is a weapon.

Yeah Eskridge is a weapon.

Apart from the penalties, Michigan's D really shut down what WMU wanted to do on offense.

Why would you take an appendix out through the knee?

09/07/2018 - 1:37pm Awesome.

Awesome.

I'm going to re-evaluate my prediction score and upgrade Michigan's offense.

Instead of 19-14, I'm going to go ahead and predict 21-14.

09/07/2018 - 12:49pm If Non-Directional Michigan …

If Non-Directional Michigan (meaning Michigan of course) loses 42-0 I will eat a lemon. . .

after it has passed through my digestive system.

09/07/2018 - 12:38pm I think the D is great, but…

I think the D is great, but unless Mo Hurst runs out of that tunnel the D will not be as good as last years.

Sorry you can't claim I'm being premature by making statements about only 1 single game, then cherry-pick one data point from one half of that same game.  Thats just as close as "making shit up".

09/07/2018 - 12:16pm You know you have to look at…

You know you have to look at the losses and seasons in context.

Where did Michigan finish in the B1G?  How many bowl wins, road wins, rivalry wins, conference championship/playoff appearance?

or maybe we could lower the limbo-bar all the way down to "how many teams did Michigan beat with a winning record"?

With the "best coach in America"  "the highest paid staff in all of college football"  The "offensive guru"  the "QB whisperer" (apparently meaning transfers) and the awesome prestige of "NFL coaches" . .

This staff and program are underachieving, and 3-5 losses (in context) next year may be underachieving too.

09/07/2018 - 12:04pm You know I'd like to look at…

You know I'd like to look at your posting history from the RR era, The Hoke Era, and Harbaugh's first 3 fucking years to evaluate this O-line patience/will be fixed prediction you're making. . .but thats impossible.  Your talking 2020 now?  lol

09/07/2018 - 9:07am Ok, I've read all the posts…

Ok, I've read all the posts so far and 76-2 is officially the biggest margin of victory predicted.

I'm just replying to you in hope of a contact-buzz.

You forgot your punctuation.

09/07/2018 - 8:56am Yet some people are still…

Yet some people are still predicting 56-0 sores lol.

Our D isn't as good as last year, and the O hasn't proven it can score at will.

WMU has a pretty shitty D but they can score a few points

Still looking forward to a win no matter how ugly it is.
