Khaleke Hudson back for senior season
January 4th, 2019 at 3:39 PM ^
Good choice I think, for him and the team. He must be a leading candidate for defensive captain.
January 4th, 2019 at 4:03 PM ^
Let's hope then he plays in the bowl game.
January 4th, 2019 at 4:11 PM ^
He won't miss the College Football Playoff bowl...
January 4th, 2019 at 5:22 PM ^
What channel will that be on?
January 4th, 2019 at 4:46 PM ^
or, if he doesn't, then who cares because he's an adult making a business decision about his future and people on a message board shouldn't get to pass judgement...
January 4th, 2019 at 4:50 PM ^
Just like he gets to do what he wants, people get to think what they want.
January 4th, 2019 at 5:15 PM ^
That is pretty funny considering thousands of people on this site have no issue passing judgement on Harbaugh for being an adult making a business decision every week...
January 4th, 2019 at 5:49 PM ^
I get that this is considered an acceptable take on this blog, but it’s a freaking sports blog - people who are die hard fans of a team are allowed to “care” If the better players on that team sit out, hence reducing the chance that their team will win the game.
Sure, adults are free to make whatever decisions they want to, but we as fans are entitled to have opinions on those decisions.
January 4th, 2019 at 6:07 PM ^
An inside source is saying Hudson may sit out the entire 2019 season to not risk injury and focus on the 2020 nfl draft
January 4th, 2019 at 7:10 PM ^
WOTS is that Daxton Hill is sitting out his entire collegiate career in order to prepare for the 2022 NFL draft.
January 4th, 2019 at 8:10 PM ^
That's a sound business decision and you have no right to pass judgment.
January 5th, 2019 at 2:50 PM ^
Upvote for being the first person in the thread to spell judgment correctly.
January 5th, 2019 at 12:22 AM ^
He was outstanding in the Peach Bowl. Hardest working and most effective player on our team that day IMO.
January 5th, 2019 at 8:20 AM ^
logged in to say the same. I hope he is voted captain and his play that day earned consideration from the view from my couch. Wish there was more coverage on his play from the game.
January 4th, 2019 at 3:40 PM ^
Good news
January 4th, 2019 at 3:40 PM ^
Khaleke Hudson, Captain 2019
January 4th, 2019 at 3:48 PM ^
You can take that to the bank!
More transfers/handshakes to come.
Strong chance grad transfer options will be explored more than previous years.
Coach and his dad lending help to John this weekend, go ravens!
Cheers

Here first before:
grad transfers in Harbaugh 5th year?
helping his brother vs finding replacement for pep?
Honestly, I agree with both. Sue me.
January 4th, 2019 at 4:07 PM ^
Taking grad transfers isn't a big deal at all, you're just looking for reasons to complain.
January 4th, 2019 at 4:10 PM ^
Guilty. However, here’s a question another LOTR fan asked on here:
who or what was Tom Bombadil?
January 4th, 2019 at 4:19 PM ^
Maia.
January 4th, 2019 at 4:20 PM ^
Isn't that Harry Potter?
January 4th, 2019 at 4:59 PM ^
Eldest.
January 4th, 2019 at 5:59 PM ^
A Middle-Earth stoner.
January 4th, 2019 at 11:04 PM ^
Goldberry's sugar daddy.
January 4th, 2019 at 4:35 PM ^
It can be a big deal. Fairly troubling red flag for any team wanting to compete for titles.
However, we are already aware of the lack of depth at DT so that red flag is waving high already so unless there are more unexpected departures, prob not a bid deal for M. I'm all for trying to shore up depth there in an attempt to turn it from a potentially major problem spot to functional.
You do wonder if this means they're not confident they'll get many more guys they want in February such that they'll have open scholarships.
Other than that and maybe LB (Glasgow backing up Gil was highly concerning), I like our returners at every position group.
January 4th, 2019 at 6:42 PM ^
We still aren’t nearly good enough at OT.
January 4th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^
Are there already candidates for grad transfers? And if so, will they be able to step in immediately?
January 4th, 2019 at 4:07 PM ^
I hear Fields from GA is available . . .
January 4th, 2019 at 5:45 PM ^
I just spit out my beer.
January 4th, 2019 at 8:03 PM ^
Yeah....but he doesn't want to "play" school....
January 4th, 2019 at 4:11 PM ^
In the past few years Michigan football has kicked the tires on the obvious GT options that every other major program has also monitored. The lineman from bama, or the trio from Ole Miss etc. However, this year with a few unexpected departures each coach has been tasked with identifying possible GT's that could make an impact in their respected positional group for 2019. Speaking with a great friend who is now the recruiting coordinator at a MAC school, and was on JH 2015/16 support staff he said this is much different than 2015/16.
EW already has a kid he wants, and so does CP.

My snarky comment was out of frustration and mostly annoyance of being back at work.
Ill stand and take my negs accordingly.
January 4th, 2019 at 7:01 PM ^
Take my +1 ya ornery bastard.
January 4th, 2019 at 4:18 PM ^
ghost of jermaine, thank you for chipping in. very interesting stuff. you are a pretty cool ghost.
January 4th, 2019 at 4:36 PM ^
Friendlier than Casper, even.
January 4th, 2019 at 4:47 PM ^
casper didn't know squat about hoops.
January 4th, 2019 at 5:42 PM ^
100% honesty - Casper couldn't hold Fred Flinstone's jock. Casper was one of the worst cartoons ever.
January 4th, 2019 at 8:20 PM ^
As someone who grew up in the era of cartoons that were really made for adults (Warner Bros, Flintstones), hilariously violent (Tom and Jerry), or weirdly funny (George of the Jungle, Super Chicken), I couldn't stand the whole Casper family of cartoons. They were like a lollipop dipped in sugar and covered with whipped cream: so sweet it would make you upchuck.
Edit: And Bullwinkle ... brilliantly weird.
January 4th, 2019 at 4:18 PM ^
Very interesting. Thanks for the info. The recruiting coordinator at a MAC school - I assume you are talking about AK. If so, when he say "much different", I hope he means in a good way.
When you say unexpected departures, are you referring to those that are upcoming that we don't know already know about? Or are you referring to those in the past (i.e. JH, AS, etc.)?
January 4th, 2019 at 4:22 PM ^
Thanks for answerin my question ghost! Your contributions are greatly appreciated! :)
January 4th, 2019 at 9:55 PM ^
How about any immediate impact defensive tackles???
January 4th, 2019 at 6:41 PM ^
i wouldn't mind a grad transfer that is a 330 lb+ DT that was productive this past season. just someone to at least clog the middle of that Dline and/or provide some depth. i'm really not too concerned about any other positions.
January 5th, 2019 at 12:31 AM ^
The best you could hope for would be a Mone type. Anyone more productive would be in the Draft.
January 4th, 2019 at 6:52 PM ^
As a Chargers fan, I don't like this one bit
January 4th, 2019 at 11:45 PM ^
Without giving any indication which mite be most likely do you sense Theres a strong chance one of the big 3 WR's may transfer?
January 4th, 2019 at 3:40 PM ^
awesome news! Glad to see him come back to a very young defense with lots of potential to be a leader on and off the field. He would be my guess to be voted captain next season as well
January 4th, 2019 at 3:41 PM ^
Glad he is returning too.
January 4th, 2019 at 3:41 PM ^
Was impressed with Khaleke with his talk AND actions in the Peach Bowl. Short list for captain next year
January 4th, 2019 at 3:41 PM ^
Great news! That fire he showed on the sidelines in the Shit Bowl, we need that in 2019. My man, Go Blue!
