Guys, they may be Michigan's little brother, but they ARE family dammit!

Who will volunteer to drive to East Lansing and deliver a case of lube (we can steal some from Mad Hatter's garage).

Anyone?

Ok, how fast does Amazon ship?

If Lewerke is out, then I'd would imagine he will sit the rest of the year.... which gives Dantini a dilemma... first, it gives him plausible deniability when they lose with Lombardi.... But, if they lose to Purdue, this could be the start of Dantini's final and permanent ride into the mediocrity sunset...   Because chances are they'd finish with a losing record, twice in two years...  that might be program killing.

I was searching how to say it, and you said it best... thanks.

Further, I was trying to say they'll go from a top BIG team, which they have been for a decade, to a middling one again, just a shade above the MAC.

Purdue figures to win . . . but this is exactly the kind of game Dantonio has inexplicably pulled out over the years.  He won the 2015 OSU game with O'Connor filling in for the injured Cook.

And of course the forecast calls for rain tomorrow.

I'm skeptical of the entire injury narrative. So they played Lewerke all last week until garbage time and then only revealed later that he was injured? I didn't see Lewerke wince once or hold his arm or his shoulder or anything. Afterward, the coaches can't get their story straight about whether he practices the week prior or not.

I'm not convinced that this isn't a polite way to bench your starting QB and see what Lombardi's got

Without Felton and Lewerke (especially his running), MSU should struggle to generate offense.  Not a lot of offense, but any offense.  The rest of the season will be a massive struggle.

It will be interesting to see how Brohm calls this game to get Moore and others into space. Maryland on the road could be a tossup. The game against OSU should be ugly since Urban will do anything to rebuild his team’s swagger. Nebraska in Lincoln is another tossup. They have to get one of those for bowl eligibility.

There is almost nothing that could surprise me with this game. MSU could win 10-7...Purdue wins 35-0.

No matter what, it’s gonna be dumb, weird and very #BIG

At no time watching MSU vs psu game did I see Lewerke get hurt. I did see him moving his arm and stretching during the Michigan game after he took that first sack.

Michigan should have beaten MSU worse in reality, but of course they gave MSU a gift fumbling on the 6 and missing a fg. Go blue!

I hope MSU goes 6-6 or worse this year personally...I want the program to decline. Being 19 - 18 or worse after 3 years is not good at all. They do not have many good recruits coming in either. Mark Dantonio is a good coach but is arrogant and had success against a struggling Michigan team (like many others). If he stays next year hopefully his overall record will be 8-5 aginst Michigan and hits the road. Go Perdue!

If Hornibrook doesn't play against Northwestern, that might make things more interesting.  98% of Northwestern's offense is through the air and Wisconsin's secondary is not that great.  Then again...Northwestern had to make a late 4th quarter comeback to beat Rutgers last week 18-15.  So maybe this will be another one of those ugly as sin games at Ryan Field.  Not M00N ugly but still ugly.

Purdue/MSU sounds verrrrrrry interesting now.  I can't see Purdue playing as well as last week again but they SHOULD win.  Yet this is the kind of game Sparty seems to win.  Maybe we'll get another conflicting story on MSU's QB.  He practiced.  He didn't practice.  He practiced despite having polio.  Whatever you say, Mork.
