This is 100% accurate.  Also re: torn patella - This would also mean that Cade didn't display ANY functional limitations regarding a patellar tear.  Also "torn patella" is a pretty vague term considering how Cade played the rest of that 2021 season.  

MCL tear generally does not need reconstruction, and considering that this was most likely an MPFL tear, that often doesn't require reconstruction either.  

My sense is the UM docs were following best evidence, though unsure if Cade was still dealing with a lot of pain when they suggested he was good to return to play.  

Cade will start slow next year because he's going to need to spend the next 9 months teaching Brian Ferenz how to play Offense.  

Hubris for sure.  I think the first half unfolded in a way that allowed a false sense of security:

2 big plays for M, and otherwise total OSU domination.  Felt like they got told "keep doin' what your doin' and you will pull away".  History kept telling Ryan Day that eventually they'd get the big play or the big drive for a TD.  Very few adjustments by Knowles really put the nail in the coffin in the 4th.  

Also, with Day being a more conservative coach on 4th down, he didn't take his shots statistically, and instead played not to lose.  Granted, Dan Lanning screwed Oregon this year twice(!) on 4th down go for its, but from your opponents side of the field punting seemed dumb.  

Finally, I thought the Multiple D that Michigan runs has finally been able to address a high powered spread offense like OSU.  Thought M did a really good job in that department, especially in the Red Zone.  

I remember in the 00's it seemed like every year a UP hockey team would make it to the final 4 or state finals until they ultimately went up against Cranbrook.

The Hockey system works better for Basketball types where there is a national circuit of actual games vs camps so you get a better understanding of where kids are skill wise vs. each other.  I think this proposal for Football seems more fair and accurate.

^This.  Acute care and ICU care don't make hospitals a dime in most cases.  Most hospitals are reimbursed around 90 cents to the dollar or less during the average acute care stay, which tends to be 2-3 days.   

Covid patients are being seen and treated in hospitals and ICUs for weeks, thus the amount of resources to treat them is significantly higher.  

Most hospitals make money on outpatient care, procedures, and surgery, all of which have been drastically cut down or eliminated.

This has "Tribute Edition" written all over it.
