I remember them being down a couple linebackers which is big. I don't remember any of their offensive pieces being gone and they had less than 200 yards on offense. Something clicked after their OT game against Minnesota.

I think this year will tell us a lot about Franklin. A lot of people here gave a ton of credit to Moorehead for their offensive success and want to discount how good they were in 2016 because of the ass kicking we gave them. With that said, it's hard to argue with the results on the field since that game against us.

Check your email for anything from Kickstarter. I backed the $18 book only one and got the email on July 3. Was called project update #2 or something.

Lucky for us Shea arrived on campus much earlier than Rudock did.

I love fireworks but I wish some people would have some common courtesy and light them off at expected times. I'm not a veteran but I know a couple that struggle near the "firework" holidays when people randomly light fireworks outside of the normal times.

07/03/2018 - 2:31pm I don't think the issue is…

I don't think the issue is the Regionals or world series. It is nice and warm here by then. The biggest issue is baseball is not a sport meant for cold weather but the NCAA is limited by academic calendars. Much like golf, players can't play in Michigan year round so it hinders baseball development. Kids tend to play other sports because hitting in a cage in December/January is way less fun.

NCAA Division 1 already tries to legislate start dates to make it more even. The earliest anyone can play a game was February 12 this year. When I was in college, we typically wouldn't play our first game until our spring break Florida trip at the end of February and would be playing local teams with 15-20 games under their belts. We had to condense the schedule to get the same number of games in but in half the time so we would often play 6-7 games a week while southern teams were playing 3-4 resulting in them being rested come playoff time and us being rundown. Just part of the territory when it comes to being a northern team, playing a warm weather sport.

Thanks. She was more receptive to switching until that incident and since then it's been a hard no. I would probably have to convince her to have both cable and YouTube TV for a month or two to prove that we could watch Michigan and all of our other live sports without issues before cutting the cord.

Have you guys had any issues with buffering while using YouTube TV, specifically during large sporting events? My wife and I were at someone's house during last football season who was streaming a game with YouTube TV (not sure what device) and it buffered right around when OT was set to start. My wife has been completely against any streaming service since. I have no idea if it was an issue with their hardware, internet connection or just comes with the territory of trying to stream live events.

Using passing attempts is a weird way to determine if a QB is good or not. Of course he would have less attempts in games they win since they would be doing more clock control.

Congratulations! My wife and I are expecting our first in about 10 weeks. We won't be finding out if the little one is a boy or girl until they make their arrival. I'm starting to get very anxious/excited/nervous but luckily my job and home projects will keep my mind plenty busy in the meantime.

Being fair to Frost, he did come out and say earlier this year that if he would have stayed at UCF he would have a hard time getting behind the "National Champions" bit since the winner of the CFP is the champion. Not sure why Saban had to open his mouth about the situation but obviously this was only a response to that.…

I have heard wonderful stories from friends of mine in the south about the Grove and need to add it to my list. I will probably wait until they are expected to have more competitive teams for that.

05/17/2018 - 10:14am OSU - Not good

OSU - Not good

MSU - Horrible. My least favorite stadium by far and not just because it is MSU.

ND - I enjoyed ND. Campus is nice and the stadium has history and character.

Northwestern - Small but you get great seats anywhere you sit and always a ton of Michigan fans which makes the game fun.

Penn State - Looks weird from the outside but the atmosphere is great. Haven't been there for a true night game but went to that 5pm, multiple OT, whiteout game back in 2013 and it was intense.

Wisconsin - Liked the stadium but since the game was at 11am i think the atmosphere was a little more subdued than normal before the game and during.

I really want to go to Iowa, Nebraska, Clemson, LSU, Georgia, and Florida State. Also really hoping Michigan will keep the games with Texas, Oklahoma and Washington in the future so I can go to those as well.

05/17/2018 - 9:49am I love catching games at

I love catching games at Northwestern. Sure it's like a glorified high school field but it's awesome to get great seats like that at an away game.

05/09/2018 - 3:17pm Sorry, but 2020 will be the

Sorry, but 2020 will be the worst home slate I've ever seen. Wisconsin will be on the 6th year as crossover team so people will want to see other West teams and PSU draws buzz because they're a good team in our division but we will have played both of those games by October 3. That means we go the last two months of the season without a marquee home game.

05/09/2018 - 10:27am I think the home schedule is

I think the home schedule is a huge piece. Just wait for 2020 when it's basically the same teams (2 MAC, no rivals, one OOC game away) but instead of Nebraska we get Purdue.

05/09/2018 - 8:54am We also would need to look at

We also would need to look at the number of tickets that were not renewed to get a better picture. I called the ticket office and tried to get 2 more season tickets but was told they didn't have the inventory to allow for additional tickets and they were only offering tickets to new season ticket holders.
