11/16/2018 - 9:05am This is exactly what comes…

This is exactly what comes to mind...he's trying to fuck shit up again...

UM wins he'll go on and on about being right...how he saw it all along.

UM loses and his message helped to wake up the Buckeyes...and 'if Harbaugh couldn't get it done this year...he may never get it done..blah, blah, blah..."

Herbie..just stop already. He'll be in the endzone with that shit eating grin and fake lobster tan if/when OSU scores a TD...

11/15/2018 - 2:42pm Well, its not in Indiana…

Well, its not in Indiana...you couldn't pay me enough to live in that state.

11/14/2018 - 7:49am Fair enough...its almost…

Fair enough...its almost always far more complicated than fans assume. Last year was about as bad as anyone could have imagined with the QB injuries and cluster at Oline. Not sure if any one person could have salvaged that Oline and QB-less offense. But I just assume that Harbaugh knows what he's doing and he would get it fixed...

That plus...8-5. As bad as that season felt...8-5 now feels like a floor for JH's program and considering where the program has been for the last decade that's not all that bad..

11/14/2018 - 7:18am Sooo....do people still want…

Sooo....do people still want to dump Pep?

Think he was a scapegoat for much of UM's problems last year and even into the early part of this season. But you could see from the beginning what Pep and JH were trying to do. Build consistency and confidence throughout an offense with so many new and critical pieces. And hold back on some of the more exotic stuff until the schedule stiffened.

It has paid off handsomely.

Its a tremendous staff on both sides of the ball.

cuss-filled?...is that anything like puss-filled ewwwww...

Josh Mettelus

Check out his interviews. He seems like a natural leader and safety is a good position to lead from.

11/05/2018 - 5:24pm UM has had some great…

UM has had some great receivers over the years and has never been a school that slings the ball around. Same can be said for any number of other blueblood programs.

Besides even with the modest passing numbers, the WRs and TEs are a major factor in the O. They are getting some nice down field, highlight throws and that gets people talking.

11/05/2018 - 3:11pm He needs an editor:

He needs an editor:

"Michigan has run play action here to threw a drag route to the tight end."

Yikes how does that get published?

11/05/2018 - 1:04pm Spot on...

Spot on...

11/05/2018 - 11:09am Come on man...I seriously…

Come on man...I seriously doubt there'd be much discussion, let alone outrage, if OSU pulled the schollie on a recruit two cycles away from signing...that's a huge reach man.

11/04/2018 - 2:42pm Here's an idea...

Why don't…

Here's an idea...

Why don't we just start giving these young men the benefit of the doubt before rushing to negative judgment?

The whole assumption that he was ready to quit on the team was dead wrong from the jump but far too many here and elsewhere were willing to run with it.

Maybe then we wouldn't need a thread like this to counter that BS.

There are a ton of examples on THIS team of guys fans had basically given up on after last year and the ND game..but NOW...Runyan, JBB, Mettelus, Kinnel etc. are all good. Well there were always 'all good' but maybe they just needed more time, different/better coaching, better/different conditioning, a new girlfriend, a different dorm room...who the hell knows. But they were on this team and that should be enough to give them room, time and space to grow, improve and fulfill their potential w the full support of the fans.

10/31/2018 - 3:35am Josh is a good interview you…

Josh is a good interview you can see that he has strong communication skills and confidence two things that are critical at the safety position. He looks like an early candidate for captain on next years team.

10/30/2018 - 8:30pm He got crumbled...has to do…

He got crumbled...has to do better than that if he's going to excel at the next level.

10/30/2018 - 7:36pm I tend toward optimism…

I tend toward optimism entering every season so the record is pretty close to what I expected but the way the team has gone about getting there has been a pleasant surprise.

The strength and conditioning has been a major upgrade with UM consistently being the stronger team down the stretch even against roid rage stormtrooper U.

The Oline has obviously exceeded expectations but so has the depth of the Dline (Kemp and Paye), the play of Ben Mason , the much maligned in 2017 safeties and unheralded guys like Uche and Gil.  That's a lot of exceeding expectations....so well done coaches and players.

Re. K. Hudson this is the game where he needs to really make his mark. Intelligent and violent play from the Viper is critical to counter McSorley.

Re. Gentry...I'm not so certain about his blocking improvements. After watching him get crumbled a couple of times in the MSU game I think he still has a ways to go...but maybe (hopefully) that was an anomaly.

10/28/2018 - 2:50am Definitely...best QB…

Definitely...best QB situation UM has had in a long time.

10/27/2018 - 4:18pm I would be shocked (and…

I would be shocked (and pleasantly surprised) if Patterson returned. Seems like a great guy, great team mate but also not someone who ever intended to spend 4 years in College. Maybe he will fall in love with UM and Coach so there is a chance but he really seems more like a grad transfer on his way to the league. I think he's got elite tools and could use another year but he already knows first hand what can happen to a season if injury occurs and I wouldn;t expect him to take that risk again when he could be cashing a paycheck.

10/27/2018 - 3:42pm I hope MSU admin and coaches…

I hope MSU admin and coaches keep bitching about it...UM will pretty much always have to talent edge and MSU has banked on the motivational edge...but all of this bad blood is poking the bear and we saw this year what a highly motivated and talented UM team does to Sparty. Harbaugh isn't going to let this one slide...expect a different kind of handshake next year.

10/27/2018 - 3:29pm If Delaney has any balls he…

If Delaney has any balls he will fine them again for this dumb comment and suggestion that the B1G office is biased towards UM and OSU.

10/26/2018 - 5:01pm Constipation?

Its all about the mani- pedi...recruits are going to love those.

10/26/2018 - 4:00pm What's this Threat and…

What's this Threat and Sheridan era you speak of? That was all just a dream/nightmare..right?

10/26/2018 - 3:34pm Whew...for a minute there I…

Whew...for a minute there I was afraid you were going to leave out the HULA HOOPS...

10/26/2018 - 3:31pm Thats one of the great…

Thats one of the great things about the early signing period..it makes intent much more clear early in the game.

10/26/2018 - 3:20pm Rutgers should have that one…

Rutgers should have that one circled...they might be able to pull a Rutger on Sparty. Man, that would be just too damn beautiful.

10/25/2018 - 3:38pm You've got Mike Hart on…

You've got Mike Hart on there twice.

10/25/2018 - 3:20pm He's the MVP on offense..

He's the MVP on offense..

10/25/2018 - 9:24am Harbaugh threw lots of long…

Harbaugh threw lots of long balls w Ruddock, Chesson and Darboh...and this team is just as equipped to do so esp. with Black back...just hasn't had to do so thus far. This team is really well balanced and I think that's under rated by fans but to have confidence in the run game, passing game and now RPO game is something we have never seen. There are so many ways this team can beat you its just insane.

10/24/2018 - 11:48am The way this has played out…

The way this has played out is, in at least one respect, perfect...

MSU has pretty much always had the motivational edge in this rivalry because UM has other bigger rivals and a much higher level of expectation year in and year out. So, MSU has used the disrespect chip to counter UM's usual, and often substantial, talent advantage. But now Harbaugh is pissed, the team is pissed and MSU has lost a big chunk of its motivational edge.

10/23/2018 - 7:01pm Yep..remember all of that…

Yep..remember all of that drama and feeling like Michigan got beat again by OSU...but NOPE Harbaugh got the better man and will beat OSU/Weber again but this time on the field in just a few weeks.

10/21/2018 - 1:51am They wanted to see him make…

They wanted to see him make it through the rest of the season.

10/20/2018 - 6:04pm MSU was giving up an average…

MSU was giving up an average of 62 yards rushing...Karan got 144 and the team got 183.. 3 x's their averaging given up. And most of that came in the second half. The offense was balanced 183 rushing 212 passing..getting nearly 400 yards.

THAT's dominance on the road against a rival that is determined to neutralise the talent gap by mucking everything up and using pre-game shenanigans and voodoo trickery to get in your head. You don't dominate under those circumstances w/o great Offensive coaching to go along with the great D.

10/20/2018 - 5:45pm Some of you in this fan base…

Some of you in this fan base are questioning the character of this young man and those close to him w/o knowing a damn thing about anything. That's beyond fucked up. These guys go out, give their all, get banged up or worse truly injured and some lame ass sitting behind a keyboard decides he might have a hidden agenda or is doing something that might be detrimental to the team that HE is a member of and WE are just outside observers and extreme fanatics.

Sometimes you need to put the Ouiji board away and stop trying so hard.

10/20/2018 - 5:14pm Beautiful..absolutely…

Beautiful..absolutely beautiful.

10/20/2018 - 5:10pm This was a road, rivalry…

This was a road, rivalry game...they seldom = blowout win even with a talent disparity. UM flat out dominated Sparty today without being perfect.

10/20/2018 - 5:07pm Good D's are good for a…

Good D's are good for a reason...UM got 400 yards on Sparty in EL today that's a big fucking win by the Coaching staff and Offense not to even mention the D's mastery.

10/20/2018 - 2:22am Probably a bit of both right…

Probably a bit of both right? The coaches see the tape they know their weaknesses but they've also invested a lot of time and focus on mastering certain things too.

10/17/2018 - 4:01pm I think the players answered…

I think the players answered this...Warinner greatly simplified things to start and has been added more at a pace that works. Because they have to work well together it makes sense to focus on mastering the simple stuff and building a strong base and then building from there as they show they can manage.

But its also talent. Even at its weakest spots (T) UM recruits at a higher level than almost everyone on the schedule. And even with average T the talent across the offense can more than make up for this relative weakness when the coaching and scheme is right.

10/17/2018 - 3:52pm Well Buddy better not be…

Well Buddy better not be fucking with us...Mr. Great Guy better be right this has to be the year...

10/16/2018 - 1:25pm IDK man...isn't Chase Young…

IDK man...isn't Chase Young his replacement? I just saw him on that All-American list along with Chase Winovich.

It seems OSU has to get to 4th string before you get down to just All-Conference level talent...

10/16/2018 - 7:58am Sounds like LSU is just…

Sounds like LSU is just being some Cajun Greedy bastards...

10/16/2018 - 7:46am So did I....Hope there's…

So did I....Hope there's lots of celebrating this Saturday too.

10/14/2018 - 10:57am I should add...

What's the…

I should add...

What's the weather forecast for next Saturday in EL? We don't need another act of god to advantage Sparty. In fact, with all that has happened in EL they deserve the exact opposite.

10/14/2018 - 10:01am I with you...

The talent…

I with you...

The talent differential is as significant as it has been in a long time...but that's not really all that new. What is different is I think UM is as motivated for this game as Sparty. Also, I think Hebert has this team in much better physical condition than in years past and that counters much of Sparty's roid advantage.

And finally...I'm taking Harbaugh and this staff (top to bottom this is beginning to look like the best staffs UM has had in a very long time) over Dantonio his minions.

Sparty will have their tricks and they will have their dirty play...and that might make this closer than otherwise..but I just don't think it will be enough to overcome all of the other advantages UM brings to this game.

10/13/2018 - 5:07pm Neither did I so thanks for…

Neither did I so thanks for doing the research.

10/13/2018 - 4:24pm Well, I'm  impressed....

Well, I'm  impressed....

Wonder what's their passing rating? Can it be negative.?

10/11/2018 - 12:50pm Yeah..if you are going to…

Yeah..if you are going to move a Olineman to DT for a few snaps then big Mike O might be a better candidate given that he has some Dline experience at this level. Of course then his conditioning becomes a bigger deal on O....shit there are on easy answers.

10/11/2018 - 12:44pm But you can't just ignore…

But you can't just ignore the impact the injuries to the DTs will have on this game vs. last year. There's no worst position to be depleted against UW than DT. The best Oline in the conference in front of arguably the best QB and best RB going up against an injury depleted defensive front is scary as hell.

Their game plan has to be drawn up on one page...run the ball up the middle, wear them down..play action late.
