Nebraska Preparing Like Rocky IV
Nebraska is treating this game like "Rocky IV," running backs coach Ryan Held said.
"Nobody thinks we can win this game," Held said. "National people don't think we can win this game. We have to be able to rally, come together as a group, go on the road, get on that airplane like Rocky Balboa did and frickin' beat Ivan Drago."

They'll be ready. Hopefully UM can match their intensity. The best thing Michigan can do is punch them in the mouth (to keep the boxing theme) early, jump out to a lead and that will take the steam out of them.
But the number of games I've seen UM come out on fire over the past years, I can count on one hand.

This. I wish Michigan could regularly come out smoking instead of looking flat. In this game, I think a fast start will make a big difference. If we let them hang around with Martinez playing well, watch out.

I think we've come out on fire a number of times under Coach Harbaugh - but there was a big drop-off in this in 2017 vs 2016 (e.g. Hawaii, UCF, PSU, Rutgers, MD among others) and 2015 (Oregon State, UNLV, BYU, Northwestern come to mind).
I DO agree that coming out strong against a team like Nebraska and getting control of the game early obviously help. SMU was not one of those games so an area in which we can improve this week.

But he's probably trying to pull a Dantonio and really exaggerate, maybe even downright lie to his players about how much the entire country is spending waking every minute writing them off in order to fire them up.

What type of BS is that... They are going up against Michigan, not OSU here. They can pump all sorts of hype for their players to get motivated but I aint buying it. Scott Frost has been all the buzz all damn summer, he will NOT have an easy time against our Wolverines. He can't take that chip on the shoulder to MSU.
