Just read the ESPN article regarding Aubrey Soloman.

I can't post the exact quote on mgoblog and don't know how on this format as of yet.

Anyway, he said they were going to try for a waiver for immediate eligibility. He said something like "I think we have a good case, too."

First of all, who is "we"? The other tranfers?

Secondly, any idea as to what he's talking about?

It could be that certain recent transfers were in his ear? Disgruntled transfers?

Total speculation on my part. Just trying alternate theories besides payola, to which I am neither subscribing or dismissing at this point.

Fuck it.

Don't bother checking articles, reading blogs or any of that hot garbage until after NSD.

I agree, also, that quarterback is a gamechanger injury as most of us can remember from last year.

Injuries happen every year. It is the great equalizer of seasons. Obviously the team that recruits the best depth remain durable and win titles.

I am much more comfortable with the 'next man up' philosophy as it pertains to our defense as opposed to our offense.

Greg Mattison is one of our best coaches so I feel good about his chances with getting the next guys ready.

I remember that game as a kid!

It was Anthony Carter, I believe, who caught the ball, stumbled, regained his balance and ran it in for a last second score.

As a kid, hearing the stadium light up like that...a great experience.

As far as Nick Saban goes, I don't really listen to anything the guy says, even if I hear it.

Don Brown REALLY needs to rethink his strategy when we play PSU because his current tactics are going to get gutted against that little scrambling QB.

I wanted Penn State to lose because I wanted OSU to be undefeated when we play them, but I love to watch them lose.

PSU is a more winnable game anyway since it's at home.

So I guess as long as OSU or Penn State loses this game, I'm good.

This game is driving me nuts. Cant tell if both PSU and OSU are beyond elite and keep canceling each other out, or they are both not as good as I thought.
