When you are ranked near the top 5, every single game you play is important. Most people want to hear that this is Harbaugh's most important game, because it's against State.

Every single game, including our biggest rival Rutgers is important to our head coach. If we win out, we are in. If we win out, it shows such a huge improvement by this coaching staff since the Notre dame road loss.

This is a rivalry road game, against a struggling MSU team that just beat a struggling Penn State team. Patterson is going to be ready. Our players are going to be ready. Coach Harbaugh is already ready. This game is huge.

We are going to roll. We have too much on defense for MSU to handle. Rivalry or not, we are going to roll.

35-17 Michigan.

Then Penn State will be Harbaughs most important game.

10/15/2018 - 3:08pm All great points.

I think…

All great points.

I think the Patterson to Peoples-Jones and the Patterson to Gentry and even the Patterson to Nico Collins connection is pretty darn good, well over Lewerke to Davis. Home field advantage or not, I believe we faced a much better quarterback in Hornibrook last weekend than we will face in East Lansing. Also, can we say that Wisconsin has a much better rushing attack than MSU? How'd that work out for Taylor? Meaning, if we make MSU one dimensional, and stop the run game, I think we will strive.

I just feel like we are going to roll in this game 30-17 Maize and Blue. Not because I am drinking the Kool-ade, but because MSU is actually pretty bad offensively.

Go Blue.

Man, I absolutely love games on ABC. Two timeouts in the first 5 minutes of the game and not a single commercial. I miss ABC. Love their broadcasts.

I think Harbaugh did an outstanding job in the second half. However, to end the game, less halfback up the middle would have been nice. Mason could have gotten a first down there at the end to finish the game. Overall, we won. What a shitty game. But what a great second half!

I actually think this is just referring to the Penn State white out as in "Silence the White Noise" So, to me this does not seem so bad. It's not referring to the noise outside of the program. Fuck Ohio though.

Welcome back Ace! Thank you for this!

Devin Bush continues to make me love college football. Damn he is fun to watch. Absolutely amazing kid. His speed and aggression is out of this world.

Exactly! Also, how sad is it that we will already be 5 games in this weekend? Is it me, or is this season flying?!?

We are getting better. This win was huge for our guys. Handle Northwestern this weekend, and get past Maryland without injuries and I like us against Wisconsin.

Just have to keep running that ball to open up Shea's arm.

Go blue all!

09/21/2018 - 8:25am The one who has given up…

The one who has given up only 47 points total in 3 games and has a huge pick six and some other INT's to boot? We will be fine. Garbage time touchdown to SMU was a joke. Theeeeee Mighty State of Ohio college has given up 62 points so far. 31 has been given up to Oregon State too.

Thanks for posting.

09/20/2018 - 10:18am Exactly. I have been saying…

Exactly. I have been saying this exact thing. It's been hot, humid and miserable outside. It will be a lot cooler this weekend. Should see a difference.

09/19/2018 - 5:03pm I am a firm believer in that…

I am a firm believer in that last weekend, and the Notre Dame game were extremely hot and muggy and had a big effect on Michigan's play. I think it made our players cramp up and get tired. That may seem like a lame excuse,  but I'm a pretty active guy, and I was beat just by jogging outside for 30 minutes. you could see it on Shea's face. Drenched in sweat.

With that said, it's projected to be near the high 60's low 70's this weekend in Ann Arbor.

I think this is going to be a huge game for us. I see us completely unloading on Nebraska and having a huge game.

As I said in a previous thread, my wife's grampa passed, and he was a huge Husker fan. He would have loved to have watched this game with me. He would also be smart enough to tell ya that there is no way in Hell Nebraska goes into Ann Arbor and beats Michigan after losing to Troy.

All in all, guys, this is going to be a very fun game. I expect the running game to be explosive. I also expect Patterson to be a little more free in slinging the ball to DPJ.

38-14 Michigan

09/19/2018 - 1:54pm Tough game for me. My wife's…

Tough game for me. My wife's Gramps just passed. He was a huge Nebraska fan. Hopefully we win gracefully. I'll honor this game in his name.

Go blue.

09/17/2018 - 9:46am Man, how strange. It's…

Man, how strange. It's almost as if the ref new what the play was going to be. It seems like he is trying to get Devin to line up where the reverse is going to take place. But I really do not know what to think of this. You can see the players are like "What the fuck?"

09/17/2018 - 9:41am Okay, what the fuck? Do you…

Okay, what the fuck? Do you guys see Hudson throwing his arms up too right after the Ref tells Devin to move? This is so strange.

09/16/2018 - 9:31am I actually think this is the…

I actually think this is the best team Meyer has had at Ohio state. Haskins is freaking amazing. I can not understand some of the "Michigan will beat OSU" posters on here. Could we win? Sure, it's college football. But I'll be damned if Ohio State isn't the best team in college football.

They look great. Watching this game, it was clear that these two teams are extremely talented. Ohio state plays really well, and executes when it needs to.

I think it's possible you guys go undefeated, as we just saw Wisconsin lose to BYU.

If Michigan had this game at home, I still wouldn't feel confident in a win, but would like our chances better.

Wyandot, you guys have a great team, enjoy your season.

Go Blue!

09/15/2018 - 10:04pm Sorry to disagree ,…

Sorry to disagree , respectfully of course. I think Evans is extremely talented and a very hard runner. He has "big legs" and at most times is very shifty out of the hole.

Just my opinion. I like Evans running between tackles, but I like Higdon better in the open field. Tru has established himself as a decent pass blocker. Definitely looks good at times.

I enjoyed seeing Samuels running the ball a little today too.

09/15/2018 - 9:57pm I just could not see us…

I just could not see us losing to Troy like Nebraska did. Nebraska will not be able to get past our defense. No way.  If we lose this game, pack it in, we our going to have a shitty season.

I believe we are going to trounce Nebraska and actually, I think we can beat Wisconsin as well. Our defense gave up some points today,  however, most of that was against SMU's talented mobile QB. I have faith in our team.

09/15/2018 - 8:15pm Let's take into account how…

Let's take into account how hot and miserable it was today. Also, let's look at the fact that smu actually played a great game.

Patterson is so fun to watch.

DPJ is so fucking awesome. That relationship between receiver and quarterback is great. I'm hoping for a Henne to Manningham type of situation.

Evans ran well. But, during the first half, he was the featured back. Hot day made for a sluggish performance in opinion. When Tru came in, it made a difference.  I think a Higdon and Evans combo today would have made a difference.

The defense seems to have struggled with penalties. Badly. We were in prime position numerous times to put a drive away,  but kept SMU in it. They seemed to have found a good dual threat QB obviously.

Overall, I like the 25pt win, but I do not like the 20 points given up to a very poor opponent. I still think we are learning, and I think we are going to absolutely demolish Nebraska.

Go blue friends. Enjoy another blow out game. Northwestern and Wisconsin will be interesting!

I enjoyed everyone in the stadium adopting the "Truuuuuuuuu" chant. Thought we lost "Mcdoooooooom" forever,  now we have Tru. I love this fan base.

09/09/2018 - 1:18pm Was at the game and…

Was at the game and specifically watched Shea live. He did great. Some of those throws man, if we can keep him healthy, he's going to be great!

This was a fun game. I expected 30-17 or something, not a massacre.

09/07/2018 - 10:49am Headed to the greatest city…

Headed to the greatest city in America tomorrow morning with my wife and son. First stop is Zingerman's. Can not wait to devour some pastrami on rye. Bang Bang baby! Go Blue, beat the Bronco's! I can't wait!

09/06/2018 - 11:12am That's what I don't get. We…

That's what I don't get. We held them to what 60 yards and 3 points in the second half? And what, Notre Dame did that on purpose? If we do not screw up that field goal snap, it's 20-24. Not sure the irish shut anything down. Two arm punts to give them 14 and a legit score drive. Yep, totally shut down, got it.

Also, I get it, "moral victory" blah blah blah.

Yes, we absolutely blew in the first half, and only scored 10 legit offensive points. Nd is a good team. They came off a great year. We had a chance and found ourselves moving the ball, only to shit the bed in the red-zone. Time to move on!

09/06/2018 - 11:09am 2011 was such a fun year…

2011 was such a fun year. Virginia Tech went our way. I still can't believe we won that game. Fucking beautiful year. I don't care if OSU was down. Denard was my hero.

09/06/2018 - 11:08am Yes. I took this interview…

Yes. I took this interview the same way. He seems surprised that we lost the game. It sounds like the team and coaches worked really hard and laid an egg. Onward, as Coach Harbaugh would say. Let's beat Western and get some motivation going into Big Ten play!

Go Blue! Can't wait to be in Ann Arbor!

09/04/2018 - 9:03pm Bottom line.

The reason…

Bottom line.

The reason most of us Michigan fans are upset, is because after Carr retired, we went from 9-10 win seasons annually, to Rich Rod and Brady Hoke.

Then we get Harbaugh! Our dream coach. The one who will beat Meyer, Dantonio, and even Saban.

Our University pays him what, 7-8 million dollars a year? That's insane money.

Michigan is not Northwestern. Michigan is not Michigan State. We are not Nebraska. And we certainly are not fucking Penn State.

We are Michigan. So why are we playing to these teams levels? What gives? Are we cursed?

Myself and fans expect to be the best team on the field every single Saturday. I expect Michigan to win every game they play because we are such a rich program, and because we have the talent.

I thought we were going to beat Notre dame and at least score 30 pts. But that didn't happen. So yes, I think it was as bad as it seemed. But I will always cheer for my university. No matter what. It's just so darn depressing to not be a powerhouse football program anymore. Especially with the money we are throwing at Harbaugh.

09/04/2018 - 4:00pm I really thought we were…

I really thought we were going to beat Notre dame by the exact score we lost by.

So, after seeing us Saturday, I would say we are an 7-8 win team again. I don't see us beating MSU, OSU, Wisconsin or PSU. I have a real hard time seeing us go in and winning those games.

It sucks, because it was so excited about this season. I do get the pleasure of taking my 7 year old to the Western game this weekend, so it would be nice to score a ton of offensive touchdowns. I think he would really get excited.

Oh well. Maybe we will turn out to be great this year. I know the defense will be. I am for sure a Nico fan, so there's that.

I'm going to say 7-5 with losses to Wisconcin, PSU, MSU, and OSU. Not because I want to wallow in self pity, and get all pissed off about the Notre Dame loss, but because I think those teams are better than us. Especially since we play 2 of them on the road.

This is all feelingsball kind of stuff. I may be wrong, and I really hope I am.

The caveat, maybe Shea gets pissed off and just explodes on teams. Who knows.

I hope the team comes out strong against WMU. That would be fun.

Go Blue, friends. Sorry we all had to suffer last weekend. Hope our season has some surprises in store for us, like an upset against Wisconsin, MSU and OSU. That would be nice.

09/03/2018 - 9:19pm Great post!

Great post!

These are the exact characteristics I noticed of Shea during the game as well. Very emotional, high energy guy. He really wanted this game, and had it not been for that last fumble ,who knows?

I feel bad for Western Michigan. I think Patterson is about to go insane. Also, I am officially on the Nico Collins bandwagon. He's going to be our top receiver.

09/03/2018 - 8:43am Yeah,  I'm with you. I'm…

Yeah,  I'm with you. I'm going to this game with my son. I think this will be a huge confidence booster for this offense. They're going to score touchdowns.

09/02/2018 - 6:24pm Thank you for posting this…

Thank you for posting this. I like fans like yourself. I thought we played well too, and definitely did not think after being down as we were, we would come back and pull within 7 points.

Something that needs to be said about Patterson. He is going to be great! I liked the way he was trying to hustle the offense into a huddle. I liked his emotions on the sidelines when things didn't work out. He showed leadership.

Also, my Notre dame friends were very classy after this game. They think we played well too.

All in all, I'm still excited to be going to the home opener next weekend against WMU.

Go blue! Thanks for posting this!

Knute Rockne is a stupid fucking name. There, I said it.

Also, I don't know if I buy that. If urban were to get fired or step down from Ohio State, and Kelly was booted from domer land, he'd land at Notre Dame. I think Urban would do very well there and surpass knute dumb ass name Rockne and Irish nation would love it.

08/30/2018 - 8:51am The last time we traveled to…

The last time we traveled to South Bend, we lost 31-0. The very last play, Devin Gardner though a pick six to tentatively give the irish a 37-0 lead. However, that play was called back for roughing the passer as Gardner was blindsided by a complete trash hit that knocked him out.

So, Notre Dame fans think they actually won 37-0. Hence remember the six. Stay classy South Bend.

Thank you for posting those great pictures. This is sad. I do enjoy the jug game, and would trade Maryland or Rutgers for this game every time.

Notre Dame fans have been insufferable! So much shit talk, I can't take it. I can not wait for this game to be over with. I am hoping for a dominating win from The University of Michigan, but will gladly settle for a 21-17 win as well.

Go Blue! Three more days!

08/28/2018 - 1:53pm If he does play, Notre Dame…

If he does play, Notre Dame would have allowed a kid who obviously violated NCAA rules (Got caught smokin the herb right?) to play a football game. That's some Oiho State stuff right there. I'd like to think Kelly, even though he once killed a kid (RIP no disrespekt), and Notre Dame would have better morals than that.

He will not play. Even if he does, I like Higdon and Evans significantly better than this kid anyhow. Our defense will be ready for whatever.
