He actually came by my house after the game on Saturday and stuck around and played a game of beer pong on our porch. I guess one of the kids who was there know one of Hart's buddies (or something along those lines). Anyways, Mike was a really cool guy even while everyone at the party was surrounding him. I saw him in college up close a few times (again, through a mutual friend) and it is amazing how much smaller he is now compared to back then. Anyways, that's my Mike hart story. |

I wish Jimmy Leyland would realize that he is in the middle of a divional race and simply put his best lineup on the field. I understand guys need a day off here or there, but the way he rests guys is absolutely infuriating. This lineup = Central Champs: 1. Jackson 2. Boesch 3. Peralta 4. Cabby 5. Martinez 6. Young 7. But since the two events seem to be somewhat related, I have a quick question about the AD garage sale on Sunday. Does anyone know what the prices are going to be like? Is it going to be like a real garage sale where you can get stuff incredibly cheap, or is it going to be normal pricing like what you would find at M Den (ie; $25 for a t-shirt and $40 for a sweatshirt). Kind of OT but I was at the Tigers game on Friday with some buddies and a few aholes tried starting a "go green, go white" chant. We immediately silenced them with our "Go home!" and "Can't read, can't write" chants. They literally didn't cheer the rest of the game. |

I'm not really sure about the workouts, 7 on 7's, etc., but I did happen to see Craig Roh at the public pool on Fuller today. He was sitting with his feet in the pool eating one of two HUGE burritos he had with him. I know there was some talk of him eating somewhere around 500 calories a day this summer to put on weight and it definitely looks like he is doing a good job of it. |
