- It's 2016. Instant replay should be used more, not less.
- The games are already too long. Allowing defensive changes at any time would drag it out even further.
- Sure, I guess.
- This is already somewhat a rule. If your body part is in the strike zone and you get hit, it's called a strike (though rarely called that way).
- People don't pay to see pitchers hit (if you can call what they do "hitting").
- As a Tigers fan, I enjoy seeing them play the Mets/Giants/etc. occasionally. Watching them play the Twins 20+ times a year gets old.
- Baseball isn't soccer. No ties.
- I could get on board with this but make it at least $1000.

The 76ers have won a grand total of 19, 18, and 10 games over the previous 3 years "on purpose"? I believe I'm saying this for the first time since the Billups/Iverson trade: Thank god I'm a Pistons fan.

Not sure if you saw his short piece on ESPN a few weeks ago, but the interviewer asked him what his plan was for after coaching. His response was something along the lines of, "I've always had the plan to play football as long as I physically could, coach, then die". The interviewer askd him to clarify his comment and Harbaugh responded with, "Play as long as I can, coach, die". God I love this man.

While it pisses me off that Colorado has the balls to wear the same jerseys from 94, I respoect the hell out of them for having the balls to wear the jerseys from 94. And I hope we beat them by 50 because of it.

The reason it's rarely called is because batters are rarely in the strike zone when they get hit. Sure, their elbow may be hanging above the strike zone or they may lean into and inside breaking ball, but I watch a lot of baseball and I can't remember a time when a player's actual body part was hit while in the strike zone.

I would agree with that. It also seems like 90% of the replays can be determined by looking at it once, but umpires insist on taking a much longer look. I'm all for speeding them up, but would definitely be against getting rid of them completely.

After watching his short highlight video, he definitely looks like a coach B stretch 4 with that jumper. I'd be interested in knowing if he has the ability take take his man off the bounce and finish at the rim. He looked a little hesitant to finish at the rim in the video - always electing to pull up (which looked great for a big man).
But even when he sets ball screens, he popped nearly every time as opposed to rolling to the basket. Has anyone seen him more than the 3 minute video shows and know if he has the ability to go to the bucket and finish?

As would having superior athleticism. Again, I'm not disagreeing with you; Aubrey certainly has unbelievable athleticism. He just hasn't found a way to put it to good use. Same reason I brought up being 7 feet tall. It is great to be that tall, but if you don't utilize that ability, it really doesn't matter.

I'm pretty sure that's Jeremy Jackson and Stephen Hopkins.

I don't disagree with you, but saying being athletic is something he did really well is like saying someone over 7 feet tall did a really great job of being tall. He was blessed with athleticism but unfortunately to this point, he hasn't found a great way to utilize that athleticism.

Instead of eating a hat or a lemon, can we make people eat a raw POTATO? I know the folks in Ohio would appreciate it.

I know there are plenty of baseball traditionalsts out there who would like to see the DH stay out of the NL, but I personally can't stand it. Pitchers make millions of dollars to throw a baseball, not walk up to the plate and flail around like a fish out of water. The NFl doesn't ask kickers to play middle linebacker a few plays a game and the NHL doesn't ask goalies to play right wing on the third line for a period or two. I hope they make this change ASAP.

It really is unbelievable to watch these guys shoot open jump shots and rarely miss. If I head to the gym and hit three 3s in a row, I feel like I'm god damn Reggie Miller or Ray Allen. Some of these guys look disappointed when they hit the rim.
